Really great account support
What do you like best about the product?
The team is very responsive and open to our feedback to making their product better. The segmentation and personalisation capabilities are really quite advanced and we are continuously experimenting with them to make our campaigns better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email builder still has a long way to go. They recently introduced a drag and drop option, which is great, but does not leverage on their personalisation capabilities. A better template creation UI would be a huge improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main thing that we're trying to solve is getting the right products in front of the right customers. Blueshift seems to be well set up to be able to handle that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will need a pretty strong data and engineering team. Blueshift can be quite heavy to set up and we had some engineering support built up over the last few months to truly make use of all the capabilities that they have provided us.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a powerful platform providing deep configurability and extensive capabilities with building campaigns and customer segments. The detailed and responsive application and technical support have been very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was tedious at times to come onboard with the platform and we ran into occasional technical challenges. Variable management is manual so is time consuming across many templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blueshift allows us to deliver the right message at the right time and on the right channel, from lifecycle communications to transactional and one-off marketing promotions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Onboarding might take a bit long with some unexpected technical issues, but the team is very helpful and reacts quickly to problems and questions, so the initial difficulties definitely pays off.

What do you like best about the product?
(1) Its support for segment integration ensured we hit the ground running were able to take our 1st set of campaigns live in no time
(2) Omni-channel support (email, mobile push notifications) provides a consolidated platform for reaching our customers across devices
(3) Blueshift have been open to deep customizations such as integration w/ our product based recommendation APIs
(4) Apart from the platform, everyone at Blueshift starting from the founders are eager to share their expertise, experiences and insights towards making their customers successful

Early on, as they were growing and scaling their platform, we had experienced some bugs / issues; has been pretty stable ever since

We have been able to accurately identify customers segments at various levels of intent and reach out to them w/ personalized messaging.

What do you like best about the product?
Blueshift has allowed us to execute almost all of our complex campaigns. When there is something we can't do they step up and add the functionality that is needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been some minor hiccups as they scale their product. Having worked with a ton of different ESPs and other marketing platforms this is not unexpected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to engage our every growing and diverse audience through storytelling and personalization.
Very flexible platform & excellent customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Using Blueshift has allowed us to introduce very bespoke personalisation & automation across all of our customer comms. The personlisation studio in a particular is extremely useful for allowing us to test different methods of personlisation to find which is the most effective. It's also a very user friendly system, and easy to create campaigns & manage users, whatever the level of complexity of the campaign.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, not much. We've run into some snags but the team have been really quick to resolve them for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've got a large customer base and an unusual commercial model. Deliverying personalised comms to this base has been very tricky and we found it difficult to find a partner as most comms software platforms are geared up for straightforward e-commerce businesses, Because Blueshift is more flexible we've been able to solve these issues. Now nearly half of everything we send is personalised to some extent - this in turn has results in a big uplift in revenue from these channels.
