Powerful CRM Application with the growth of an AI Engine
What do you like best about the product?
- Core CRM Communication Channels: Whether via Push, In-App, and Email are simple to create yet robust enough to customize to meet marketing campaign needs
- User Activation Data: Blueshift captures a wide variety of key customer data for the business, both at the client (app side) events and custom attribute level. One of the key differentiators in my experience with the Blueshift tool is tracking and utilizing critical customer information. This high-value data comes in handy when creating new segmentations for new and existing campaigns, as well as reporting on success metrics for the business
- User-Friendly Interface: Blueshift's platform has a simple and effective interface for various types of users, from those power users in Marketing creating and sending communications to the data mining analysts. I appreciate the flexibility the tool offers.
- AI Engine: Once Blueshift is within the business ecosystem for a sufficient amount of time, the in-house AI engine has excellent recommendations for new campaigns based on customer activity. This feature saves time and adds value to the CRM team when retaining or seeking new business.
- Customer / Implementation Support Team: The Blueshift experts are great partners to the business. Very responsive, friendly, and insightful, the Blueshift team always has an eye on day-to-day business actions, as well as the future roadmap

What do you dislike about the product?
- System Outages: Not often, but at times server maintenance or upgrades from Blueshift can interrupt existing campaigns.
- 3rd Party Application Integrations: While Blueshift covers most major Customer Data Platforms, it doesn't cover a lot of new and emerging applications that could be helpful in other areas of data activation and analytics

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Easily segmenting users based on business activity within our application
- Targeting / Communicating segmented users with trigger-based campaigns (push, in-app, and email messsaging)

After researching other top marketing automation systems, we chose Blueshift
What do you like best about the product?
Advanced functionality when it comes to marketing campaigns.
Email building: With most email services providing some sort of visual email builder, we were surprised that some leading platforms did not provide much design flexibility – we would have to alter components of our emails with things like padding and spacing. We found Blueshift's visual editor to be very precise, and we were able to build out our email designs exactly the way our team designed them. Blueshift also stands out with its "Shared Assets" feature that allows us to make changes across our emails at scale, without having to go into every single email to make updates.
Segments and events: Blueshift provides a robust way to segment users, filter critera and trigger events. We're able to be as granular as possible with our segmentation, or trigger events in real-time.
Workflow campaigns: Blueshift's new journey builder is good – visual and easy to use.
Support: Support is very attentive and quick with responses – something we found to be crucial during onboarding and throughout our marketing efforts. A nice change from constantly having to send support tickets and waiting on long response times.

While some parts were difficult to understand with just documentation, the team is great at responding to any questions or needs we have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a clunky marketing messaging system that made it difficult for us to create, edit and visualize our marketing campaigns. Blueshift provides some best-in-class features that dramatically improved our system to start sending optimized campaigns.
Incredible support and platform
What do you like best about the product?
The infrastructure is very advanced, and you have all the tools you need to create incredible one-off and automated campaigns. The support team is always available and reliable if you need help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it isn't easy to find previous campaigns, and sometimes, getting reports and data on previous campaigns can be tricky. It's not easy to use for first-time users or newbies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating end-to-end campaigns to continue our engagement (monthly active users) and generate revenue. Creating automated comms as well as one-off sends for a seamless content plan.
Great Platform with some littles issues
What do you like best about the product?
The GUI is very nice and intuitive, the content structure is logical for a common use in this platform type, the shared assets feature is a great way to build a design system for email layouts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The alert message on the right side is annoying because is not on the user center of attention and sometimes block options that stay on the background, another issue befall on the name edit modal when the user write a name sometimes the modal is closed without reason
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are on a multidisciplinary team and are building a complete system of the customer journey for a big client from entertainment streaming, the greatest benefits is the time gained in the daily operation with all the features of the platform
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blueshift is a very good platform for executing and managing direct marketing with user communities with great tools to achieve it

The best feature of Blueshift is not only the ability to manage campaigns but also to see associated analytics.

Although it is not a dislike, understanding the user interface and features may be difficult for new users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Track email campaign and manage customer data. With Blueshift, it's easy to know the customers who click on a particular email campaign, and modify user attributes for these users
An excellent tool for better understanding our customer data set and acting upon that intel.
What do you like best about the product?
We like the ability to consolidate customer data into a single, cohesive database. Now marketers can segment lists and build intelligent, personalized campaigns without intervention from developers or other teams. Having a CDP and ESP in one solution steamlines efforts and reduces overall cost of our marketing stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
No immediate downsides, but we're still in the early stages of adoption. The interface could be modernized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Blueshift, we had limited views of our direct customers. Now, we can easily see their activity across a range of touchpoints with our brands. This allows us to build cohorts for superior targeting/messaging. In theory, this will lead to a more personalized experience with our brands and unlock more sales potential.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm quite new to the email marketing world, but so far, I've never seen such a powerful and well-organized tool to capture emails, events, and attributes of all of our customers!
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed that there seem to be some slow loading times or bugs in the process. For example: if you have a lot of attributes assigned to a segment, the drop down menus sometimes don't load when you click them, so you have to triple check a million times to verify everything is selected before moving on, when it should just be one simple click.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of Blueshift from what I've seen so far are the organization, the easy dashboard views, and many filters to organize all of the information in a custom and thorough way.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I like the most as a designer and programmer is that even tho I'm not creating campaigns and sending them, I can work on my designs without worrying about anything else.
What do you dislike about the product?
The switch in between accounts sometimes isn't very smooth and leads to errors, but you get used to clicking home first before switching and makes things less buggy

I'm a designer, so I don't use the whole platform, but for my design-related needs, blueshift makes everything easier.

If you are looking for a platform that can deal with everything in one place, this is your answer
They are a one stop solution for all our communication needs!
What do you like best about the product?
It's a nice and simple pipeline but still very flexible. Everything comes through as an event, set all the custom properties you could need, and send the message as whatever you like. Then the statistical data is all there, ready for marketing to use. As a backend dev, there is a considerable part of the workload off my shoulders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific. Every product can always improve. But it does what it needs to, and our needs are pretty straightforward.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have streamlined all our events, notifications, and emails into one single process on the backend of our system. As a backend developer, this is huge! It gives marketing the freedom to request any events on a whim, and it doesn't bog down the development process. And it provides marketing the freedom to set up whatever types of messages or notifications to the customer without waiting for any support from development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are comfortable making API calls and you need a beefy but simple solution, Blueshift is excellent to work with! Simple, straightforward, and works for simple or enterprise needs.
