All in one self-hosted cypto platform (it's free!)
What do you like best about the product?
HollaEx was free, open source software. It meant I was able to spin up a docker container and try it. It worked like a charm. Now I've committed to a paid plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
The config wizard makes getting started in easy but hides some of the more complex stuff. Thankfully, things can be changed later and docs are easy to follow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want start my own cypto exchange, with my own rates and offer my own coin. HollaEx gives me an out of the box solution to do all of this. Plus it's free, open source.

What do you like best about the product?
HollaEx allows you to be up and running with a crypto exchange in as quick a week.
I like the fact that you have an option to host the exchange yourself (the DIY ) option, or go for the cloud option

Adding coins require a fee each time. WHile i understand that thats one way to create value for the token holders, if you are planning to add a 100 coins for example, the cost adds up very fast

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crypto Exchanges should be easy to setup if we really want Crypto to be decentralised. Anyone should be able to easily start an exchange, as easily and as frictionless as possible.

What do you like best about the product?
We run bimex.live exchange. Great support and the shared liquidity across platforms is the best thing about them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like them to allow 1 letter ticker tokens without custom config. Also the price for adding tokens is holding back progress
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The api solution is great. We will keep supporting the project.

The customization, since it's open source you can really do pretty much anything you want, as long as your team has the necessary knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no staking for any coin aside from XHT, at least by default (Again you could program it yourself)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me save a lot of time and money when building my exchange. The shared liquidity pool "HollaEx network" is very useful too

Have in mind that you can customize it as much as you want yea, but you gotta know how

What do you like best about the product?
When I used the cloud, it took me less than an hour to start an exchange. Although I found the freeware DIY version tough to set up and a lot longer than a cloud, it's a terrific tool that you can utilize if you have a Linux computer or even a Raspberry Pi. There is even an AWS HollaEx Kit package already if you are familiar with Amazon web services https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-vysn5g3h5cops
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't have a Linux system or know AWS; your best bet is using a cloud. There are a few hitches here and there if using Windows, but nothing major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great platform to use with Linux server. Lucky that I'm already familiar with it but if you're not, they also have a great support system and active community that will respond to you in a reasonable amount of time.

What do you like best about the product?
Even if you're using the freeware version and run into a technical issue, there's a supportive community on the forums and on the Discord channel that can help you out immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some key features are missing. A staking system for our own token doesn't seem to have a setup and only works for XHT.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's really great for beginners and easy to work on.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use to non-tech-savvy clients. Fast deployment. Good visual UI

The cost to incorporate new tokens on the system. The inability to contact anyone directly with questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently self-host the platform and are encouraged with the potential Hollaex may provide in the future
Easy to tokenize various items and create online exchange
What do you like best about the product?
Can easily create token and once the exchange is operational open on the platform to allow anyone to buy and sell the token. This makes for easy price discovery and for our products that have different prices we can help set the price and allow the market to get involved in the price discovery process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires some know-how with blockchain assets and tokenization such as ERC-20. The system allows adding ERC-20 token that we prep created and as of yet takes time to create through the HollaEx Kit if you don't already have the tokens ready made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to create a marketplace for the tokens and ability to communicate and market the token so that buyers and sellers know what they are trading.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have physical goods or better yet digital goods this solution is easy to put on the blockchain and make them tradable for price discovery and distribution.
Great option to break into crypto industry
What do you like best about the product?
Gave our team a quick way to test the product as it has an easy self-service system that does not require our company contacting them software provider as with other solutions. This saves us time from getting on a call and wasting hours on an unnecessary pitch. Just deploy and add assets on the fly adjust the theme and add logo and you are away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the system assets are missing. Only supports a couple of the top major assets like BTC, USDT and ETH. Also without some server knowledge, you probably better saving your time learning and going with the cloud option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our internal trading team can self-hedge on our own exchange using the kit. It is the perfect solution internally for accounting with crypto and it has also been a good way for us to remarket the product as our own as a value-added service for traders that use XRayTrade but also want to use spot or store crypto assets with us. The kit offers the basics of any crypto wallet built right into the exchange.
