Helps me easily monitor security compliance
What do you like best about the product?
As CISO for our company, Drata helps me easily monitor our controls and compliance without needing to be across every little detail. I have also been very impressed with our CSM Ryan, he has been fantastic helping us get the most out of the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
None, Drata works well for our company's needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
The automated monitoring is excellent, and the number of connectors keeps growing. We had minimum issues linking Drata to our AWS and Azure resources. We have also been able to link with other types of products, like our HR management system and source control repositories.
In addition to the platform's technical capabilities, I think the best feature is that Drata honestly cares for its customers. We had a Drata staff member dedicated to our account who has been super patient and helpful during the onboarding. Then, their Live support is very quick. Their onboarding and customer support are some of the best I have come across in the software industry.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say "dislike", but its Policy Centre needs some improvements to make it more efficient and flexible. But it does what it is meant to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work in the health sector, and therefore we need to be compliant with HIPAA and GDPR in the markets we operate. In addition, our security needs to be tight, so the platform is helping us to be ready for SOC2 and ISO27001 certifications.

- Craig Macaraeg was our CSM who was a great help over the last 12 months helping us integrate Drata and get upto 100% compliance. He was very helpful, emphatetic and a pleasure to work with

- Drata should focus on building more integrations with security tools (which are in their roadmap)

Fast to onboard and integrate for company wide compliance needs
What do you like best about the product?
Range of tools and services that can be integrated from day 1 help the integration and initial compliance control checks show a quick return on investment.
The platform is quite intuitive compared to others in the market and with the in-console support with quick human response was one of the main plus points.

While the platform does bring a lot of benefits, the cost for each additional compliance framework is still fairly high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the finance/payments space, there are various regulatory and compliance requirements to address. Consolidating those in to a tool that can map the frameworks together, reducing time in audits and ensuring that we maintain a compliant state across disparate teams is a game changer.
In addition, the additional possibility to add and map requirements from customers and partners to ensure we maintain contractual promises helps to alert us to any degradation in our service quality and alignment with responsibilities.

Super easy compliance tooling - highly recommended!
What do you like best about the product?
I've had nothing but good experiences with Drata - the support is top notch, and very responsive. As a small security and compliance team, its great to be able to lean on Drata's compliance experts. The onboarding and customer success experience has been seamless as well - we have felt very well supported as we transitioned from another ISMS tool.
The difference from our prior, manual, hard to navigate tooling has been incredible, and the user access review feature has shaved weeks off our access review requirements. Keep up the good work!

What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations are still being fleshed out, and there might not be as much as other products out there, but its coming along nicely. The issues I have had have been sorted out quite quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automates a lot of the manual work for compliance, and moves us towards a continuous compliance model which works very well for us.

Drata Equals Professionalism
What do you like best about the product?
When we had a small issue with the latest "Drata Agent" on 3 of about 30 Windows-PCs , I contacted support and the response was QUICK. After some brief back and forth, I was provided a solution that was easy to understand & implement AND IT JUST WORKED!!! It worked right away with little to no downtime - and no Restart was required (although a restart was recommended - as it should be with all of MS' Windows NT Technologies)...
... As an experienced IT tech - and especially with Windows lol - I know "these things happen". But - in the end - the only thing that really matters is solving the problem quickly. THAT is exactly what happened!!! I will also note: I feel that Drata's systems and software is relatively clear and uncluttered. Working with Users and the Drata Agent is simple. THIS is VERY important. We use a mix of Windows 10 and 11 - mostly w10/22H@ and some w11/21H2-23H2. The Agent experience is consistant - this too is VERY important.

The ONLY downside so far - from my point of view - was that we had any issue at all with the Drata Agent. But it was minor because it was remediated so quick.

Our Company is meeting the requirements to achieve ISO 9001 Certification. Drata has been incredibly helpful!

What do you like best about the product?
Drata helps us stay focused on our compliance goals and streamline processes. Their support and customer success team are AMAZING! They always have an answer to my questions even if they don't know the answer themselves.

There is a LOT of work to put in at the beginning. Lots of connections and policy updates that need to be made for it to be made effective.

Great experience for SOC2
What do you like best about the product?
Our experience with Drata for SOC2 compliance has been really good. Jordan, our customer rep, guided us through the process step-wise and has always checked on things as we progressed. The platform is easy to set up (with automatic connections & sync with our cloud/SaaS software), easy to use (once you train a little), and the maintenance is pretty straightforward. We use them almost daily to check on things and ensure compliance is tight.

The stage between onboarding and getting to full speed needs some serious ramp-up and learning.
