How straightforward it is to set up and get compliance done.

The fact I have to do any compliance at all distracts from the actual operations of the business. At least Drata makes it easy.

Drata takes away most of the headache around figuring out what exactly I need to do to ensure my security compliance is up to par.

we are new to the compliance process and the Drata support team has been there for me 100% of the time to answer all my crazy questions

the AI can be a bit in the way. Sometimes the questions I have are just quck yes no or specific to a connection we have and the AI gets in the way. Often when I ask for a person it can take a really long time for help

The cummination of all the areas that need to be established in order to get prepared for an SOC 2 audit and a friendly, dashboard. The UI is easy to use.

We expected to have the ability to collect the security training completion records from Paylocity, but upon deeper examination, that API didn't exist in Drata, so we have to do our uploads to our employee security training certifications manually.

We are looking to get security compliance to present to our partners and inverstors and Drata is helping us in getting that

What do you like best about the product?
The organization it gives to my program. Having the policies, controls, and vendor risk profiles all in one place really helps get quick access into our compliance and risk posture, and identify any gaps that require extra attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major, but I have a few product improvements that would be helpful. In the Risk Assessment module, would love it if you could customize the risk assessment to meet whatever risk assessment methology you're working towards, whether its a HIPAA risk assessment, or NIST 800-30 risk assessment.
There's a few places where having quicker automation for updating control information would be helpful, which is currently a manual process. However, I think that's likely a unique issue to our situation, so might not make sense to build a whole dedicated feature.

What do you like best about the product?
Great platform for storing and documenting compliance activities and evidence. Online support and chats have been very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good if the platform also provided more guidance on and even a walkthrough on key compliance activities. For example, a guided walkthrough on tabletop exercises or recommendations on pentest services.

Using the platform to support and maintain SOC-1, SOC-2 and PCI compliance.
