A seamless and reliable compliance automation platform, supported with an incredible CSM.
What do you like best about the product?
As a relatively small organisation, Drata has truly been a game-changer for us. Without a large compliance team, we have still been able to make steady progress toward our compliance goals, thanks to the platform. Working alongside a responsive auditing partner, we found the initial implementation straightforward and easy to get started with. The automation features for evidence collection and continuous monitoring have saved us countless hours of manual effort. We rely on Drata daily to ensure that any issues are promptly reported to the appropriate team and resolved quickly. We also value how smoothly it integrates with our core tools, such as AWS, Microsoft 365, and Intune, and how it offers clear dashboards and guided workflows that make preparing for audits much less stressful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real negative we’ve experienced is that support can sometimes be slower than we would like to respond. However, this has been more than mitigated by our highly responsive Customer Success Manager, who has consistently gone above and beyond to keep us moving forward. Overall, this balance has meant issues never become blockers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Drata to any organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping us overcome the challenges of managing compliance as a relatively small organisation without a large dedicated compliance team. It automates evidence collection, tracks controls continuously, and integrates directly with our core systems, which removes the need for endless spreadsheets and manual checklists. This saves us significant time, reduces human error, and gives us real-time visibility into our compliance posture. The biggest benefit is confidence—we can focus on growing the business while knowing we’re always audit-ready and aligned with frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

Switching from another compliance platform to Drata is far less seamless than the marketing suggests.
* Drata has more (or different) automatic tests than our old compliance platform and therefore infrastructure changes had to be done.
* Some stuff like log retention is hard coded in automated tests and cannot be changed. Currently this value is 356 days. We have everything setup with 90 days for SOC 2 compliance and this now makes our transition harder.

* Drata has more (or different) automatic tests than our old compliance platform and therefore infrastructure changes had to be done.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where possible we centralize our security insights in Drata, this gives us a nearly 100% insight in one place. We also use it for compliance monitoring and SOC 2 audits. Drata also bought safe base which we are also using right now for trust center + security questionnaire filling support.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use dashboard system, Support team (particularly Hunter) was very responsive and provided helpful materials when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
None that i can think of. Everything has been easy to setup. It'd be nice to see more in-depth errors of why it something may not be working (i.e `hasMFA` would return null but not tell us *why* it would return null (i.e due to wrong permissions))

What do you like best about the product?
Drata is proactive, timely, and professional — whenever there’s a problem, help is never far away; the team is friendly and professional, the AI and human help options save valuable time, the well-structured management software is easy to implement and easy to use, I use it daily multiple times, and Drata is the best solution we’ve ever tried.

I honestly can’t think of a single thing to dislike about Drata.

Drata automates the entire compliance process, making audits far less time-consuming and reducing management overhead. Its pre-mapped controls and tests are perfect for inexperienced users and teams just starting out, while its vendor management and review features orchestrate the whole process seamlessly. It keeps us on track with all audit-related tasks, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
The Document and Security solution for companies that just want it done and done right.
What do you like best about the product?
Drata makes creating policies and following frameworks easy and straight forward. Security is necessary at all companies now and so many companies are trying to re-invent the wheel. Why? Drata gives you what you need to pass your audits and do it right, without trying to re-invent what security is. Its a one stop shop for security professionals to keep their companies in the green in all senses of the word. We will continue to use Drata and it will enable us to grow without worrying about if we are doing it right. We know we are because we use Drata.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were even easier way to fill out the templates for the policies. Allow more boxes to fill in the "stuff" that matters to your company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small shop and we don't have extra money for all the bells and whistles that other companies want to sell you. However, that didnt' matter with Drata, we are able to monitor our users devices for security and compliance, while also doing User access reviews, and sending out our vendor surveys so we can stay in complaince. All from a single pane of glass.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the automation of it all and how i can access several different frameworks that are already mapped to controls my environment is already following.
The assistance i received was not only quick but the 2 that i dealt with were very knowledgeable which made the process easy.

Some end user stuff with how to access certain things. There are some things i would change just to make it easier for me as the end user to do my tasks when im using the tool.

A weight off our mind
What do you like best about the product?
As a small engineering team we needed a compliance solution that gave us confidence in what we were doing, pointers for what to do next, and help at every stage with documentation. Drata reached that benchmark and surpassed it.
The customer support experience was particularly excellent. Sending in a ticket by email and seeing it immediately update in application and get resolved almost immediately felt like a premium, bespoke service on top of the already excellent automation of the Drata platform. An inspiration for us as a great relief to feel so supported.

What do you dislike about the product?
Pushing guidance into an initial onboarding isn't ideal for us. We want to get some tasks done immediately, and then come back to explore the other things later. In some cases we were a little puzzled when exploring e.g., the risk assessments page as to how to proceed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us complete HIPAA compliance as a small team and automating the monitoring of compliance going forwards.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about drata is the user support is great. Ben really took his time to ensure I was confident after walking out of the training. He held 2 sessions, one hour each. He was willing to answer any and all my questions as we worked together on drata. He is very knowledgeable and taught me knew things about drata that I hadn't yet known about. Ben is no longer our rep but he made it very clear he was always willing to help if Nick was ever out of office or if we had any questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest I have nothing bad to say about Drata. Ben such a great job explaining everything that there is noting I would change. He was great!

Drata is preparing our company to be SOC 2 Type II compliant and helping our company better manage our controls.
Drata's smooth experience
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is very easy and intuitive to use, it saves a lot of intensive manual work, and we use if very frequently. The support is very responsive and fast, one of the best support teams we have dealt with. The implementation phase was also easy in terms of setting up the connections, integrations, and just kicking off the process. Drata supports a wide range of integrations too!
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe one downside which is really specific is that there is no support for asset-based risk assessment, which is totally fine since there is a scenario-based risk assessment section that is well documented and supported and contains many features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping us with getting certified in SOC2, ISO27001, and GDPR. It's helping us with policy writing, control mapping, framework understanding, risk assessment, asset inventory, vendor management, awesome integrations, and automated monitoring of controls as well as giving us a dashboard to measure our progress.
