What do you like best about the product?
Connectivity. Ease of use. The support staff is very knowledgeable! Responsiveness as well. This is our first attempt at SOCII and Drata was recommended by a friend who had excellent experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want more integration on servers and other machines related to collecting evidence. The ability is there, but finding the way to get it uploaded is not at first intuitive. However, Andrew at Drata did a great job of quickly explaining this to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOCII security compliance. At first, we seemed put off by the task required, but with Drata integrating directly onto our user's systems, the bulk of the vital security protocols were automatically verified.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the only software/provider that I saw that did a great job of integrating. Outside of the integration, consider that the expertise provided by Drata on controls is also a value add. One thing also to consider is that Drata does not yet fully integrate into all systems locally, mainly cloud based.

What do you like best about the product?
Drata resources help us maintain the industry level of security and compliance. It automatically checks all security controls, notifies of any failures, and provides predefined documents. Getting SOC 2 certificates has never been easier, and that's thanks to the Drata.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, the Dashboard was a bit buggy, some auto checks were missing, and the most crucial feature giving access to auditors was missing. But now, all of these issues are solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helps us to be prepared for the SOC audition. It saves us a lot of time, takes care of repetative boring tasks, provides ready to use documents.
SOC 2 Simplified
What do you like best about the product?
Drata has significantly streamlined our process for obtaining SOC 2. Their CS team is extremely knowledgeable. They're quick to respond and always go above and beyond to make sure that we have everything that we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that comes to mind. I'm looking forward to seeing the continued growth of the product and am excited about what's on the roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata has helped us fulfill compliance requirements that are extremely necessary as we continue to grow and serve a larger customer base. As a small team with many competing responsibilities, Drata helps automate and better organize a ton of components that have historically taken a lot of manual effort and time.

What do you like best about the product?

SOC 2 Compliance / ISP 27001
It gave us a clear roadmap for what we needed to do and was painless.
What do you like best about the product?
The UX is excellent. I like Controls and checking them at any stage and have confidence that we are compliant. I also think the Policy Center and Drata Agent are great. I think that the integrations with Certn and GitLab are excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few instances where 'Auto' controls would make sense to me - for example, the Risk Matrix - I needed to upload the document provided by Drata into the Reports section to be able to link it.
I am also excited to see what Drata does in the future with more integrations, as I found the HR one (Gusto) a little underwhelming.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main reason we engaged was to 'tick the box' our clients ask for - namely that we are SOC 2 compliant. Through the process of using Drata and becoming compliant, we see Drata as a fundamental tool for our gorwing organization - it 'forced' us to have some really great conversations internally re: best practices, policies and processes. Also, as we are a SaaS company, we were able to enhance our security posture in a very targeted and cost-effective manner.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track and manage many different aspects of compliance in one centralized location is invaluable. If it were for that feature alone, I'd still think Drata was a bargain. Including the auditors' services, automated monitoring, and ease of use makes it that much more useful for automating away the tedious parts and letting you get back to running your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints about the system thus far. All features released seem stable and tested.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest benefit is time savings. Using Drata allows us to do more with fewer people, which is important for a small company like ours.
Tackling compliance in an organized and visually intuitive manner
What do you like best about the product?
The test view under the monitoring tab allows me to easily see what data I need to gather or who needs to be addressed at my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know Drata is working on this, but it more external security integrations. One example of this would be Curricula.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are prepping for our SOC2 compliance review & Drata made it easier to see what evidence we still needed to gather.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to use and then UI makes it easy to see what evidence you still need to gather.
Game Changing!
What do you like best about the product?
Drata has made the whole risk and compliance monitoring very simple. It's great knowing exactly what our posture is at any given time, and where we need to focus attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I can think of that isn't of value to us.

Drata helped to show us where we had some gaps in our security and compliance setup, and to prepare for our SOC2 audit quickly. The continuous monitoring functionality ensures we stay on track.
SOC2 made easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the team and the product. SOC2 was constantly getting in the way for every sale, and I needed something quick and easy. In my past, SOC2 audit was a nightmare and with Drata, it is organized, automated, and more effortless. The decision-making point for me was the customer success team. They are vested in your success, and that matters!

Drata satisfies the requirements I'm looking for. So, I have nothing specific to add here
