Security Monitoring Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I brought Arctic Wolf into the last two companies I have worked for. The previous company had around 100 employees, and I needed help meeting PCI and SOC2 monitoring, detection, and response requirements. After reviewing the costs to accomplish those needs in-house, I started looking for partners that could fill that niche. Arctic Wolf was cost-competitive but the real selling point for me was their footprint, implementation, communication, and relationship. Arctic Wolf easily fulfilled my compliance requirements and strengthened our security presence. Any questions or requests I had were quickly responded to and addressed. I had multiple instances of moving targets in relation to PCI compliance, where Artic Wolf was able to help me identify vulnerabilities or concerns between an initial PCI scan and a re-scan.
At Silk Road Medical, they also had a monitoring, detection, and response need that was too expensive to bring in-house. While my responsibilities were not security, audit, or compliance-focused at Silk Road Medical, I introduced Arctic Wolf to my peers. Throughout Artic Wolf's relationship with Silk Road Medical, I participated in the onboarding implementation and the monthly and quarterly touchpoints.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I disliked about Arctic Wolf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With multiple offices, colocatcion facility, and multiple networks, the need for monitoring, detection, and response was too expensive to bring in house. The required staff and tools to manage internally were considerably more expensive that Artic Wolf.

What do you like best about the product?
We have seemingly constant contact with Arctic Wolf, with consistent / accurate monitoring as well as regular meetings with the AWN team to review both our AWN and infrastructure configurations to improve our monitoring ability of risks and to reduce risks within our infrastructure. AWN brings topics to each meeting if we don't have anything pressing we would like to discuss, offering potential areas of improvement or areas where risk is being found or exploited in the industry for us to consider including remediation steps and guidance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some missing or lacking integration options, though in a roundabout way we have coverage in all of these areas. There is no direct integration with Varonis, SonicWall NSM, or Auvik to name a few--there are solutions for these products that do work, just take a bit more work without a direct native integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are not a large enough organization to warrant a dedicated security team, and with AWN we have a whole team dedicated to both monitoring our environment as well as consulting and advising our security practices, configuration, and responding to vulnerabilities being exploited in the wild.
Strong Relationship
What do you like best about the product?
The relationship that we have developed with them. Their customer support is top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real down side is cost. However, they are not far off from other vendors in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf helps to keep our accounts secure. I appreciate their quick response to unusual log in activity and the security bulletins they send out.
Arctic Wolf: True Partners in Security
What do you like best about the product?
As a small IT group, we feel a true partnership with the Arctic Wolf team. Any time I have questions I know I can reach out to my CST and will receive an answer in a short amount of time. Arctic Wolf's solutions were easy to implement, their team assists but also their documentation is clear and easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I'd say I dislike, but if I had to choose I would say the Risk Portal looks a tad daunting at first glance! It can be a lot of input, but it is a great tool and has been eye opening to see the different vulnerabilities across our environment as a whole, and the Arctic Wolf team helps you decipher the risks so you can focus on remediating the most critical risks, or those under an active exploit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf helps us to locate risks and vulnerabilities across our environment, thereby reducing our potential for cyber exploits. Arctic Wolf's Security Awareness Training program is a great improvement vs the previous product we used. We really appreciate the short sessions, quizzes, and ongoing training, which help keep security at the forefront of our staff's minds, while the phishing simulations help us to determine which staff may need additional training - and they have it automatically assigned! Really takes a load off my mind, knowing that I no longer need to devote hours managing the program manually.

What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf ensures we have round-the-clock visibility into our security posture
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything that I dislike about Arctic Wolf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a non-profit health organization that cannot afford 24/7 monitoring by IT staff. Arctic Wolf gives us that round the clock monitoring that we require.

What do you like best about the product?
The monthly meetings are a good way to make sure we are staying on top of risks and there are always helpful with trickier remediations. The support we receive from our team is very quick and helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of risks found in our monthly meetings can sometimes be overwhelming, though this is not necessarily a downside of the service. We have seen multiples of the same risk in our reports, maybe they could be more consolidated to keep things looking more manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our staff up to date with the latest security awareness training. Our staff will frequently mention to us how they enjoyed the weeks recent video either for the helpful information or the production value.
Comprehensive Managed Detection & Response service, leaving no stone unturned.
What do you like best about the product?
The managed SOC service gives us confidence that our network is being watched at all times. Thankfully have only had 1 call out of hours (late on a Saturday night) and this turned out to be a backup service going crazy, but it was great to know that someone is on the case 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the web consoles are a bit outdated looking, but nonetheless they do the job they are supposed to do, very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives us a excellent coverage for MDR, MR and Security Awareness Training. Agents auto deploy to new workstations as part of our deployment process and users get auto added to groups for Security Awareness Training ensuring we don't miss any new users or devices.
Arctic Wolf were very thorough during onboarding, ensuring that they had logs from every possible device or service. The integrations are always growing and new features are constantly being added.

What do you like best about the product?
Being kept up to date on breaches. I love how when a problem on the network is identified they also include an image representation on how to solve it or correct it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish we could see more in the console, even if we can't make changes having data is nice and alot is hidden from our end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us close vulnerabilities before they are an issue and monitors our network for threat actors.

What do you like best about the product?
The concierge team assigned to my company not only work with us to ensure they feel they have everything they need to provide a solid service but continue to hunt and identify threats as they appear and assist with remediation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the reporting for the vulnerability assessments do not quite allow me the flexibility I prefer, however the information is all there and available for me to pivot in any way I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf receives and assesses data from almost all of my Endpoint inventory, most of my cloud services, my on-prem and cloud Domain infrastructure, DNS, Firewalls, and the Arctic Wolf sensors inline at my primary locations, and watches all of that information for correlations, challenges, or indications of compromise.

Arctic Wolf quickly became my trusted security partner, their concierge service is professional and instills confidence that you have made the right decision to partner with them.

What do you dislike about the product?
Given that I was keen to engage a third party to work with us on our cyber security stance there isn't much wrong to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all the Arctic Wolf platform combines all our different security products into a single pane view and then aggregates all the data into a more meaningful analysis of what's going on within my network.
Then, secondly the Observation Pipeline filters through the noise of a busy business network and only alerts me to those data points which really need my attention, with simple alerting rules to keep me in the loop.
Finally, if something is actually happening, the containment process gives me the confidence to know that even out of hours, any issue is going to be shut down as quickly as possible.
