Strong Cybersecurity partner with room for process improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf has a strong base of logging integration and reporting capabilities. CSOC engineers seem very knowledgeable and responsive to questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Arctic Wolf should merge the ticketing portal with the risk dashboard into a single pane of glass view for the customer. The executive summary data reports seem limited; it would be nice to see the full breadth of what the CSOC team investigated, not only ticketed events. My opinion is that the customer security journey roadmap is still in development and is in early testing with customers. Quarterly security reviews could benefit from a focus on the security journey, an overview of any day one or high vulnerable exploits in the wild, a quick review of open tickets, review systems hardening, and any general questions between customer and CSOC team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Windows patching and vulnerable application visibility. Arctic Wolf has given us visibility into our systems to see where we need to focus on removing or updating specific applications and/or operating systems.
Easy to maintain solution for educating employees about cybersecurity risks
What do you like best about the product?
The Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness program was easy to set up and it's easy to maintain. Educational sessions, quizzes, and phishing simulations are distributed regularly to employees without any action required by our internal IT team. The content is short and engaging, and the information is relevant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating the list of employees as folks are hired or termed can be a slow process because we need to send an updated list to the team at Arctic Wolf and they use that to update our information. We cannot customize the phishing simulation templates to tailor the messages to our company or industry - though the emails that Arctic Wolf sends are good examples of phishing. I'd like to see an email client add-on which allows employees to easily report phishing attempts to our IT team. These are minor complaints and Arctic Wolf has stated that they plan to work on these enhancements as they continue to develop the Managed Security Awareness solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The cybersecurity education program we used before was hard to maintain and it was difficult to track employee participation and progress. Using Arctic Wolf's MSA program has made it easier to educate our employees and easier to see where our strengths and weaknesses are. It also frees up our IT team to focus on other priorities.

They are great at Implementation, Solution blueprint, integration, client support, coordination and management reporting.
After one year of full service, They were real partner to work with our IT team and Security team to identify problems and help to fix from the root.

Arctic Wolf Networks finds an excellent combination of price, competence, and personality
What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf Networking has been a valuable team member in our company from its inception. Our service staff is immediately available, our inquiries are promptly answered, service options and updates are tailored to our company's priorities, and they are frequently updated. Detection data, compatibility, vulnerability understanding, and reporting have thus far been a valuable addition to our security office, actively aiding in the mitigation of vulnerabilities as well as the rapid resolution of events/potential problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AWN web portal interface is the least developed of the products we've explored. We don't perform a lot of data analysis on the interface, so it wasn't a major deal for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The staff is the real secret! AWN's staff is comprised of intelligent, smart, and pleasant individuals, which makes engaging with our concierge service a pleasure. Previous vendor experiences were not always consistent. Spend some time on the dashboard to acquire a sense of the information and what's available. The data displayed on the dashboard is excellent, however it does not cover the entire scope of the product data accessible.
Recommended for Everyone
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is intuitive, it has pre-established rules to enable and disable, depending on the requirement for the team, as well as determining an action on the team when that rule is met. Regarding the programming of custom rules, it must be done with the phyton programming language, which costs a bit of work if you do not master programming, in particular, the dashboard gives you an overview
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is a lot to dislike about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had few incidents where we wanted to understand what's going on in the machines. This really helped us identify which machine had what issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend this to everyone as it is a nice application and easy to Deploy.

Solid Onboarding & Reassuring Service
What do you like best about the product?
Their onboarding process was very thorough. Arctic Wolf provides good documentation & paired us with an effective support team. Their service feels comprehensive and equips us with the layer of oversight that we couldn't handle on our own. Their communication is generally prompt.
The Arctic Wolf dashboards provide useful views into the current state of our environment. The risks section is particularly useful in that it lists the recommended steps to take to better harden your configuration. That it's sortable and filterable by host, issue, or risk makes it easy to pin down next steps depending on your preferred approach. Each risk listed includes background information and general steps to take for resolution.

What do you dislike about the product?
Would love integration with even more 3rd party apps and hardware. Detection & Response website and Managed Risk website require logging in separately - would be nice if they were integrated. It might be too much to ask for, but it would be wonderful if the risks list included device-specific advice on how to resolve the listed issues (rather than broad recommendations).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scanning current inventory for latent gaps in security. Monitoring environment for unexpected changes in configurations and for potential future incidents.
