A scalable, Fast API Solution with Huge performance Metric
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to set up on several platforms. It can also be readily deployed from a container and integrates well with third-party monitoring solutions. Above all, I enjoy the plugin-based approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
In general, I have few criticisms; nevertheless, I would want more complete and comprehensive documentation. This should be improved upon so that solutions to issues can be easy to resolve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kong API Gateway provided us with the flexibility to work on various projects irrespective of the size. Also, we are concerned about solving permission and authentication problems

What do you like best about the product?
Now in the Kong Gateway - It allows for Collection and export of logs, metrics for in-depth insights. Also now the update has come with improved AI Gateway with Application Security.

Installation Complexity should be Minimized, So that it can be easily deployed to distribute the load across applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the extendable and Customizable plug-ins make the API flexible to reuse again and again. Also, the Strong Security features prevent us from Vulnerabilities, whereas Easy to Install and Maintain. Also, we can log the requests and can Monitor the Server Performance Metrics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As the Kong API Gateway Performs Integration with other tools like Docker, NGINX, Kubenetes, and OneAPI, So it makes us enabling to Perform our Work Efficiently. Also, the Performance of this Gateway will exceed the User's Expectations, with no doubt.

Kong API Gateway is helpful for API Sandbox implementation as it provides a compact and lightweight solution for customers.

The Key management and developer portal support needs improvement.

We are helping customers set up the API Gateway for a quick and easy API first approach implementation. This is helping customers to reduce the GTM strategy.
Kong, for all things API
What do you like best about the product?
I find Kong is perfect as an API Gateway and is compatible with many platforms. It is my go-to for both API Gateway, and ingress, for my Kubernetes clusters.
What do you dislike about the product?
My list of dislikes is quite small. However, some plugins are only available on an enterprise license which can be a little annoying if you're trying to utilize those features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Kong API Gateway in all my Kubernetes clusters as an API gateway, as it helps with securing inbound API's prior to them reaching your application.

What do you like best about the product?
You can never make mistake with Kong. As a developer, The lightweight characteristics is an added advantage any day, anytime. You do away with so many dependencies that can make scaling and deployment an herculian task.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be more demo for teaching purposes. More awareness needs to be created for this awesome platform and this could better be achieved right from the schools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has really helped in easy scaling and development of some applications that could have cost a lot more with ordinary virtualization.

I am looking more on AI side where they are lacking little bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
API mashup is one of my use cases, where I can call multiple APIs within one API and achieve process and behaviour enrichment. Data transformation feature plugin availability is a very nice feature to achieve my goal.
