Good migration tool
What do you like best about the product?

Rivery - Easy Integrations, just needs better docs
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use; generally most things are easy to figure out. There's a wide range of things we can integrate (a wide array of sources and targets) and there are explanations in regards of what you need (as in tokens, ids, etc).
What do you dislike about the product?
The docs really need to be updated with some of the tutorials that are available through the support e-mails. The community page is good and needs to be highlighted more often, along with the documentation. Maybe also update the tutorials to reflect the current interface of Rivery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us focus on developing better data products, while being sure that our ETL processes are running smoothly and can be done by people with no previous experience with it. We are training a few of our analysts to integrate their own data.
Rivery is a great tool to automate tasks/ data.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it how we can write custom queries and use Python and SQL to get the data we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Running rivers takes a lot of time. Waiting for the looping rivers function with the Global variable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rivery is helping us automate data extraction and manipulation and saving us lot of manual labour and efforts.
Rivery solves most of our data ingestion problems!
What do you like best about the product?
Having a dashboard and activities log for each environment to know what happened with rivers and the number of connectors that are pre-created
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could use some love. Sorting for any place that environments show and also being able to better deal with a high number of environments (i.e. we have 25-30 and continue to grow). Same goes for variables, being able to better deal with a higher number of variables per environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Loading raw data into Databricks and Azure Storage. Getting alerts immediately if there are any failures in loading of data.

What do you like best about the product?
Rivery dramatically shortens the development time. They automated and simplified the most common ETL challenges.
A few examples:
- It manages the target schema automatically, it takes care of the DDLs for you
- It manages incremental extraction from systems like Salesforce or NetSuite
- It breaks the data from Salesforce.com into chunks, in case the response crosses the Salesforce API limits.
(These are just a few examples out of many)
- Lots of kits
Another thing I like is that Rivery's support is super responsive and very professional.
A few examples:

What do you dislike about the product?
- Sometimes I encounter minor bugs, which are typically fixed right away
- At the moment, a BigQuery to Snowflake ETL cannot be implemented as a "source to target" River. This needs to be implemented using a logic River and a target variable which is not that elegant.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- It solves most of the ETL developer pains (incremental extraction management, target schema management automation, deployments, auto-mapping of source-target columns)
- Lots of pre-prepared kits for common scenarios are available.

ease of use,a large pool of connections to different cloud app providers, ongoing enhancements

Missing the ability to source code from GitHub / Gitlab repositories

it's a stateless service, they maintain the underlying services.

What do you dislike about the product?
Even though Customer Support is fast, some of the errors/issue texts are not user-friendly, not always telling what is the cause of the issue

Saves time, and enables data analysts/scientists to call APIs without data developers/engineers.
Rivery Review
What do you like best about the product?
The platform continuously expands its range of data sources, enhancing its utility for scheduling automated scripts and organizing ETL processes. The structured layout is highly effective, and the addition of conditional container steps has been particularly beneficial for implementing complex case logic within workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to have a simplified visualization of data pipelines, especially when rivers are nested within each other
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handles the majority of the ETL scheduling and API calls from Salesforce, NetSuite, LITO, and ServiceNow.
Great Product

Complicated processes are now very easy (thanks to Rivery)

Not yet contains all edge use cases so I need to ask for them to develop/modify, but I must say they are doing it very fast.

Capabilities of a large company with a small company feel!
What do you like best about the product?
Rivery has the capabilities of a large company with the perks of a small company. Their integration list is vast and if they can't natively connect to it, they have one of the best open API data connectors that I've seen in the marketplace. Their support is great (shoutout Keith and Chase!) and they are always making improvements to the product in order to satisfy their customers.
What do you dislike about the product?

Rivery doesn't natively support Azure Databases as a target (they do support Azure synapse, though!), which is something our Agency uses a lot. Rivery understood this and was extremely transparent with their 2022 roadmap which included this database as a target.

We are a digital agency who has clients with many data silos in their digital landscapes. We leverage Rivery to bring their data together in order to report and activate on meaningful data points.
