What do you like best about the product?
It's the perfect cross-browser testing tool for our startup, our internal QA team really like the extensive device, browser and OS coverage it provides to simulate the end user behaviour.

Browserstack is generally better than its peers due to its ease of use and wide array of features making it a handy utility a startup's QA team.

Customer service team is really very good, and they respond to the problems within 24hrs of raising the problems.
Video playback of the running suite helps to resolve problems of flaky tests while running on cloud servers. It was very easy to integarte within our existing TestNG based framework.
What do you dislike about the product?
High Cost compared to its competitors like LambdaTest and SauceLabs.
Using Mobile devices view sometimes is quite combersome and shows delayed response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us implement Parallel execution on multiple slave agents as per the type of plan we have subscription to.
Saved us the cost of purchasing physical mobile devices to validate various testing scenarios.

Essential tool for the Frontend Developer

What do you like best about the product?
Since we started using BrowserStack, our code has attracted significantly less tickets than before. With testing resource in our organisation stretched to the limit, it's of paramount importance that we deliver code that is as clean as possible. BrowserStack enables me to locate the vast majority of issues myself, before I commit code or a product goes into testing. It's because of this I consider it a critical development tool. It's super quick and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides to being able to test on the full spectrum of devices available in the wild.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a front end developer SrowserStack allows me to problems on specific devices quickly and easily. We've now learned the specific devices that seem to most frequently exhibit anomalies and can go straight to testing on them. BrowserStack allows me to submit products for testing confident that my code is robust.

- The showstopper feature was, alowing us to test the website through VPN, which i didn't find in the deviuce farms I previously used.
- Connecting our Automation scripts to cloud devices is so easy and running regression test before providign the build to UAT
- Logging of issues is made easy as we get recordings and screenshots of the feature tested in the app
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a little lag when connecting to devices with mobile internet. We can focus on optimizing the bandwidth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- BrowserStack is heping us save money on buying new devices which are costly consistently and frequently
- Since I'm working from home, getting access to multiple deives is a problem logistically. BrowserStack helps me to get access to multiple devices when needed.
- Running the automation scripts on new devices and getting the recording of what has happened in the device is a major help.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the wide range of devices in which the websites and apps can be tested in.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version gives you only 1 minute to test in each device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When designign and publishing websites, it is hard to test the responsiveness in all devices, specially devices that are "old".

What do you like best about the product?
I personally really like the large coverage of mobile devices that we are able to test our mobile applications on. The variation of Android and iOS devices across various operating systems is incredibly useful and cost effective. I would also like to add that

Currently we are only signed up to the App Live and Live solutions but I am championing this product and hope to eventually move our company onto the Automation scheme too!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the mobile devices can be slow when loading the application which can result in false negative test cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cost of purchasing physcial devices internally. Browserstack allows us to gain access to a large number of mobile devices which prevents us from spending a lot of money on phsyical devices which will soon become outdated and require replacement.

You can't do proper QA without BrowserStack

  • November 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to fire up different enviroments within seconds. Desktop devices through mobile phones... everything is game.
If you are not sure how your site or landing page will function on the 100s and in some cases 1000s of devices outhere... BrowserStacks comes in to help.
We use it daily to check and QA conversion optimization and experiments we set up for our clients. Making sure everything works as expected and we don't break someone's site or landing page.
Last but not least it really easy to get started with it. You have a few free minutes to play around with it and see if it fits within your stack. Integrating it within your daily workflow can save you a lot of trouble down the road.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming at first with so many choices of browsers and devices. Do you really need to check each and everyone of them to make sure your site or page works OK.
A few browsers or devices should be enough to cover 90%+ of what your potential users might be using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having access to 100s of devices and browsers where we can check A/B tests and experiments we've engineered for our conversion optimization clients.
