A great way to test across different browsers and mobile devices
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about BrowserStack is how quickly you can spin up an instance of a version of a browser to verify bugs that were reported on older versions of software. Also having the ability to compare visual changes with Percy has been great for releasing changes that match designs and catching visual problems before they reach production.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we run into problems with BrowserStack real mobile devices not working as intended and locking up during the tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem BrowserStack solves for us is the ability to find bugs on older versions of phones/browsers. The devs keep things up to date but some of our users let things go stale and age. By having the the ability to test those older versions has sped up trying to find problems that are specific to older versions.
The variable options for viewing different res/browsers/OS is good but it's extremely slow.
What do you like best about the product?
I think the option to change resolution with the same browser session history.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's extremely slow and the sessions gets stuck all the time especially on MacOS. Hence, requries multiple restarts during development. Also, noticed it happening when using localhost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Angular application needs to run on various different browsers across various machines. So, I need to use it daily to test before deploying.
Overall very good
What do you like best about the product?
Its kept upto date and I find the UI easy to work with
What do you dislike about the product?
Its lack of integration with Gitlab, it doesnt bring through comments from Android devices
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to test code on a range of devices. I find the platform reliable enough to use over competitive software

What do you like best about the product?
that i can use "real" devices on my main computer instead of real devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is a lot.
- copy paste use of web adresses is annoying. why cant i use all shortcuts from my windows keyboard on the apple device as well?
- even better, can you please use a field that i copy paste an adress to and check 2 or 3 devices which open the website automatically?`
- why do i have to click everything all over again in different devices, like accept cookies and so on. why cant the behaviour be transferend automatically between devices?
- can i view 3 devices at the same time?
- why is the device zoom if i have loaded 2 devices at the same time so low?

- copy paste is annoying
- the account i am loggen in with does not remember that i have set it up to resolve the website via the local network
- device handling is annoying because my local windows keyboard does not translate the copy paste and select commands to the IOS devices
- why do i have to use the simulated finger with my mouse?

Percy is great, but support is terrible
What do you like best about the product?
Percy really helps us not have visual regressions. It is easy to hook into our CI pipeline and really gives us a lot more confidence in our release.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their technical support is so bad. I've had an issue open for 70 days now and I keep having to restate the issue every few weeks because the support techs forget what it is. I have 0 confidence they will ever fix the issue and having to restate the issue is a waste of my time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing visual regressions.
Connect to real mobile device & desktop pool with ease
What do you like best about the product?
Variety of real mobile devices in both android and iOS. The UI is very userfriendly. Automated testcases are easy to implement and integration to browserStack.
What do you dislike about the product?
While in real device session or even booting real devices sometimes time consuming
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a startup company we don't have real device pool for our mobile native app, web app testing considering manual and automated testing. Hence, browser stack helps to improve our manual testing using real device pool.

Devices cloud based testing service
What do you like best about the product?
Browser Stack is a cloud based tool for ui-ux developers to allow them to test their website on different devices without needing to buy them. Since it's cloud based it save all my settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being cloud based browser stack cannot be use without internet. Also the website on mobile device is not responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browser stack allow me to make sure my apps and website based apps work on a wide range of devices.
Expensive yet powerful potential for testing
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack is very powerful platform when you comare it to saucelab or lambda test. The interface aand UI looks very familiar and easy to use , step by step navigation and implementation of tools and frameworks was never been that easier. Integrating or deploying tools like selenium, appium adds extra power to automation testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
When one application or platform is that costlier and still shows performance issue, lagging, test failure then it really not nice to spend this much of money for it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack solves the tension of real device testing and that too on different devices. Linking of appium or selenium codes and triggering in a click to perform testing on multiple devices is awesome to have.
Could be a better place for testers
What do you like best about the product?
I agree that it has lots more features and capabilities that gives wings to testers. From the point of implementing and integration view it's very simple and easy to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
We want pocket friendly things to work on. It's too costly to afford.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of mobile applications on cloud based devices makes the things easy and more time efficient. But costly for us to afford all the features like mobile, web and percy.
