Using browser stack took us to another level in terms of agility.
What do you like best about the product?
It has been a year since we changed the strategy of buying and using physical devices for Browser Stack and from my point of view it has been a successful strategy that has allowed us to have access to more types of devices and find more issues, even allowed us to make a considerable improvement in the deployment process for our APP due to the integration with Bitrise to facilitate and accelerate access to the builds. It allows us to work in a more standardized way since we all have access to the same devices at the same time, both QA and developers and even other departments have benefited. In general, it is not possible to physically have all the types of devices that Browser Stack allows us, including adding new devices that are coming to market and new versions of operating systems with the advantage that they are not emulators, but real devices that we can access remotely, regardless of the OS or brand, different viewports, including geolocation tools, simulation of different networks and some debugging tools. Al so a plus is the 24/7 support, always available to fix any issue ASAP.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes is very slow and we have to change to another device
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Integration with Bitrise to facilitate and accelerate access to the APPs builds: Before using Browser Stack, the process was very slow and you even had to register new phones to be able to install IOS builds.
-Availability and variety of devices: You always had to be buying devices such as cell phones and tablets, which is very expensive, and making constant updates. There were also not enough for the entire QA team and other teams that needed to use them.
-Standardization of processes and quality of tests: By not having the same access to all types of devices (Android, IOS, MAC, Windows), due to the small number of real devices, and the ineffective and inefficient emulators and virtual machines; the tests were slow and not as reliable as desired, and could not always be reproduced on other devices; therefore some of them would reproduce and others would not.
-Among other advantages

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend any team that needs access to the latest devices and versions of different operating systems to consider the cost benefits of using their own devices and using the advantages of Browser Stack and for sure in most cases, you will find that it is more advantageous to use Browser Stack.
One stop solution for all your real devices manual and automation problems, go for it.
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack is my favorite vendor for mobile manual and automation testing problems that I face on a daily basis, and I can say it's one of the best. The number of mobiles in their repo is great I can find what I wanted. i have used most of them and it helps me with the device testing coverage as well. The automation support on multiple simultaneous runs is very good and easy to work with. Their overall support is very good and reachable most of the time when we needed help. More than all these the platform is evolving on daily basis and they are listening to user problems and helping them and solving their problems which are very good and make lives better when compared to other products out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
One problem I faced is the app which we were testing we had an onboarding screen so in local real devices this was visible whereas in BrowserStack devices we could not see that and we reached out to support and could not get much help from them as well, and sometimes devices are too slow to load and interact with them. One other problem is it is challenging to test some of the apps as it is VPN supported and under a corporate firewall. Other than that we cannot video record a manual testing session, we need to do it externally with some other software which is painful. They dont have live chat support as well which is bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have real mobile devices in place and whenever we need we can access those and use it for both manual and automation runs, automation we run nightly and we get results in the morning for that we rely on BrowserStack a lot. The network logs and beta inspector for automation testing are awesome features that we use on a daily basis and help a lot our whole team and it is time-saving too. Other benefits are using BrowserStack we use lot of other features like live, app live, percy, speed lab and many other features are very helpful to us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it, one of the best in the industry, and you can test your mobile apps next level with this.

What do you dislike about the product?
The scrolling part is difficult while testing in browser stack ie : Feels really tough to scroll down in any of the app or website
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said it cut downs the cost of buying different real devices to test any product . Also it makes easy the automation part where keeping the real devices connected to the laptop is no more needed

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Broadest range of browser and platform support
What do you like best about the product?
We needed a service with a broad and deep range of browser support (not just the most recent ones, and across multiple operating systems) as well as a broad range of test platform solutions: Cypress, Selenium, and the newer Playwright. BrowserStack was the only service that offered everything in one.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not cheap! And I wish the dashboard had better ways of seeing tests. Right now, it seems like a stream of individual tests across multiple products without hierarchy. I was hoping for more of a hierarchical view with stats rollups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing across our desired browser matrix while offering application teams the most flexibility in terms of the testing platform they use (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright), and pulling all tests under a single roof where we can see the current health of all our apps at a single glance.
Best testing tool with the most variety of devices and desktop browsers
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Browserstack is that it provides real devices and desktop browsers to debug web applications on, which is essential to guarantee a perfect UI experience. One of my favorite features of this program is how I can run multiple tests with parallelization and catch bugs quickly with the help of the live feature. Browserstack has great browser testing tools such as visual testing, and it has a great variety of browsers to test on. We can work on our adaptability, debugging, customer experience, and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up Browserstack was confusing because the number of tools and features felt like too much, and the learning process was overwhelming. With the help of my team, I managed to learn every part, and the customer support via phone helped a lot. I have also experienced lagging if multiple tests are running, which I hope they will fix soon, I find Browserstack to be quite expensive in comparison to competitors, but I assume that's justifiable with the number of tools that it includes fos testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit I've gotten from using Browserstack is the simplified testing and detailed reports. My workflow has improved over the years of using Browserstack as I learned every tip and trick and ran visual tests to do an automated detection of failures on my applications. I like that it has helped me create an environment where I can create together with my team web applications without bugs and test them on multiple different devices without having to go out of our budget and spend money on buying all these devices to test on when we can just use BrowserStack.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In general, even if the investment in Browserstack seems high at first, it's worth the money, and you get an excellent testing tool for your applications. I don't ever plan on going back to our old way of testing when I can have iOS and Android devices here.
