Easy to use and simple but need to improve the performance
What do you like best about the product?
variety of platforms and browser support. able to switch between those devices easily in one click, regularly updated with the latest devices and platforms, and I think it's one of the top platforms in this field
What do you dislike about the product?
slow performance, High latency, the lack of screen recording on some platforms, it needs to be faster more responsive less laggy and has many servers in many countries to improve the usability

having many devices and platforms saves us a lot of time and cost when testing new sites or apps

What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of a subscription is a limiting factor.
While Browserstack offers a wide range of devices and browsers for testing, it does not have every possible combination available.
This is an issue I faced when I needed to test on a specific device or browser that is not offered by the service.
In some cases, testing on a real device via Browserstack does not offer the same level of performance as testing on a local device or emulator.
This happened probably due to factors such as network latency or differences in hardware capabilities.

it is very good for mobile testing. and wifi based testing and also location testing.

That is only for UI testing and cannot integrate with Database

What do you like best about the product?
Easy way to use different devices in virtual mode and easy to upload the builds and test them without any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Browser stack yet sometimes is too slow and have to wait for it load and start testing. It would be good if its a bit faster

No need of having multiple physical devices. Carrying multiple devices to different location bothers me. Because of Browser stack this problem is solved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scalable test execution on the cloud from anywhere and on any device was a big pain for us and with BrowserStack app live and app automate products , we were able to manage team and feature deployments with ease from different parts of the country.
Works as described, price was too high for occasional use compared to competitors

That the browser testing works, it's pretty quick to get setup

Figuring out how to test local MAMP projects, and most of all the pricing model doesn't work for us, other competitors have better pricing for small business that only needs occasional testing

By using browser stack you don't have to connect physical device with using this device you can do testing on various device with save money and thus it is convenient.

It is a perfect automation tool but not an Open source tool.
Although it offers a variety of devices, the response time is slow.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Tests getting timed out and inconsistent failures(sometimes the elements are not detected, which will work fine upon subsequent executions). It affects the confidence in the automation results
2. Percy is not that user friendly for testers(although I think it is aimed at more developer testing)
3. On the test results, it is mentioned as REST API with various statuses. Why don't you put this as Status instead? (there is another Status section which to me does not make much sense) It says COMPLETED with a green tick, but the REST API section can still be a 'FAILED'.Initially, it was confusing for me.
4.Lack of customization for test summary reports.We need one single report that can list out the selected test cases/test suites as opposed to individual test report after every suite.Consolidating them is a real challenging task.

The different variety of browser/ device support is a win. If we want to manually execute the tests on this wide range of browsers and devices, it can be an arduous task.
