Effortless Cross-Device Testing Made Simple

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack was very easy to use when our team needed to perform cross device and browser testing of a responsive web app.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I first used BrowserStack many years ago the number of features had expanded significantly and it took a while to find the parts I meeded
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were launching a consumer product with responsive web interface for desktop, tablet and mobile screen resolutions, expected to be used on many web browsers. We would not otherwise have an opportunity to test across all browsers, devices and resolutions and used BrowserStack for cross-browser compatibility from a functional and user interface design perspective

Effortless Cross-Platform Testing with Reliable Performance

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack provides an extremely reliable and diverse set of real device and browser combinations that make cross-platform testing straightforward and predictable. The platform is easy to use, intuitive, and requires almost no setup time, which helps teams move quickly. Its cloud-based approach eliminates the need to maintain physical devices or local infrastructure. Performance is consistently strong, and the ability to run tests in parallel significantly speeds up our QA cycles. Overall, it removes friction and helps ensure higher confidence in releases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some test sessions can occasionally feel slower than expected, especially when launching certain devices or browser versions. Test videos and logs, while useful, can take time to generate during heavy usage periods. Pricing can also become a challenge for teams that need access to wider concurrency or multiple products. More built-in analytics or debugging enhancements would make the experience even smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack helps ensure that features function correctly across the wide range of devices and browsers our users rely on. Without it, maintaining our own testing infrastructure would be costly, time-consuming, and inconsistent. By providing quick access to real environments, it reduces the risk of platform-specific bugs reaching production. This leads to faster releases, fewer customer-reported issues, and greater confidence in the quality of our software.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that BrowserStack is a very intuitive platform to integrate with our automation project. The documentation to get started is clear, which allowed us to start using it quickly. I also appreciate the ease with which it can be configured and the possibility of using Appium Inspector for manual testing. Additionally, I love that I can test on a universe of devices without the need to acquire them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, we cannot connect with your plugin for better monitoring of executions due to the technology we are using.

Essential for Cross-Browser and Real Device Testing

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use BrowserStack for cross-browser and real device testing during our QA cycles. It helps me quickly validate how our web applications behave across different browsers, OS versions, and mobile devices without maintaining a physical device lab. The testing capabilities all in one place really stand out to me. I've found their tools like Low Code Automation useful for quickly creating test flows without writing full automation scripts, and Percy for catching subtle UI shifts during visual regression checks. I also like features like local testing funnels, network throttling, and test analytics, which make debugging issues during CI runs much easier. These features save a lot of practical effort by letting me reproduce real user conditions and quickly see patterns behind failing tests instead of digging through raw logs. The initial setup for BrowserStack was fairly straightforward, and the documentation and sample configs helped speed things up for the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area where BrowserStack could improve is session stability - occasionally I have seen device sessions disconnect or slow down during longer manual testing runs. Another challenge is that test execution in the cloud can sometimes be slower compared to running locally, especially in large automation suites. I also feel the pricing can get expensive as teams scale usage across multiple parallel tests and projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to save time and effort by running cross-browser and real device testing without maintaining a physical device lab. It lets me catch compatibility issues early, reproduce user environments, and easily verify bugs, integrating well into our CI flow for efficient QA cycles.

Seamless Cross-Browser Testing with Room for Performance Improvement

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack for cross-browser testing and low-code automation. I appreciate the flexibility of choosing the exact browser and device versions to replicate issues on the exact device, which is very helpful. The all-in-one dashboard for Percy provides a good UX and a good number of devices are available. I find local testing seamless since no VPN setup is required, making integration easy. It saves lots of time and effort in development and testing. The initial setup was very easy with no hassle at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
The responsiveness of Android/iOS devices as the scroll is very laggy and unresponsive. Makes it difficult to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack handles multiple device challenges with all in one dashboard for Percy, offers good UX, and has a good number of devices. The flexibility to choose the exact browser and device versions saves time and effort in development and testing. Seamless local testing without VPN setup makes integration easy.

Reliable Real-World Testing Made Effortless

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like BrowserStack because it’s reliable and close to real-world usage.
You get real browsers and devices without setup pain, issues show up like they do in production, and debugging is easier with built-in logs, screenshots, and videos. It saves time and removes guesswork.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is the occasional flakiness and slowness, especially during peak hours.
Sometimes sessions lag, browsers disconnect, or tests fail for infra reasons rather than real bugs—which can be frustrating when you’re chasing false negatives. It’s great overall, but not always as fast or stable as you’d want for heavy parallel automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the problem of testing across multiple real browsers, devices, and OS combinations without the nightmare of maintaining that setup yourself.
For me, it means faster test coverage, fewer “works on my machine” arguments, and catching real production-level issues early saving time, effort, and a lot of avoidable bugs

What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack to test Android applications on different devices and Android versions. I appreciate that it helps me test applications across a wide range of Android versions, including older and newer releases, without needing physical devices. I really like the ease of uploading local Android applications, testing apps directly from the app store, and accessing detailed logs, which helps a lot with debugging and troubleshooting. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be pretty easy and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing plans could be clearer. Clearly outlining what is included in each plan, specifying the available devices, and clearly explaining the differences between app testing and web testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Great variety and ease of use with excellent performance

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Diversity of devices, ease of use, and latency of the devices. They barely have lag.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest disadvantage I see is the price, as it is relatively high, although the quality of the product might justify this cost. However, what bothers me most about the price is that a separate license is required for each product, like live, automate, percy, accessibility,... it would be nice to have a license that includes several functions in a single license, even if it has limitations for small businesses and startups. A greater variety of Android devices would also be appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers me a great form factor when testing applications, being able to access different mobile or desktop devices like browsers in just a few seconds.
