Streamlined Visual Testing with Percy on BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack makes cross-browser and cross-device testing seamless. Percy’s visual testing integration is particularly valuable. it catches visual regressions early and provides clear, pixel-level comparison snapshots. The ability to automate visual reviews with CI/CD pipelines saves significant QA effort and accelerates release cycles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, test execution can be slightly delayed during peak usage hours. Additionally, managing snapshots in Percy can become cumbersome for large test suites if not well-organized or integrated with naming conventions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the challenge of ensuring consistent application behavior and appearance across a wide range of browsers, devices, and operating systems.
Extremely useful tool for doing QA testing
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to test many more devices that we would be able to purchase on our own and keep up to date on the latest devices that get put out. We are also able to have a huge archive of older devices and older browsers for testing out of date versions and just different combinations of options. We have been able to find errors that we would have never been able to find otherwise without the huge library of resources. it is very easy to work with and add in our current process. We use this just about every week when we are working on various projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few of the features that that we use on our website do not function the exact same when we use BrowserStack. We have a list where they differ. One you get that figured out it makes it a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to have a large library of tools that would be cost prohibitive to have on our own.
Have become easy to use recently with new updates
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of having all the virtual devices in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance needs bit more improvement when using browserstack

Availibility of multiple devices in one place
Seamless interaction with apps in real-time across multiple devices and operating systems
What do you like best about the product?
Thousands of devices to choose from that allows testing of websites and apps in real-time across multiple environments and comprehensive OS/Browser Coverage across all versions of iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS
What do you dislike about the product?
Experience disconnections during extended testing sessions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving our testing pain points with wide variety of mobile devices
Good for automation testing, saves time
What do you like best about the product?
Main thing I like is how easily it works with my automation framework. I use Selenium mostly and it was not hard to connect with BrowserStack. You just run the test and it will execute on multiple browsers or devices, no setup required. Also I like the dashboard which shows session details and logs, helps in debugging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes execution feels bit slow specially on mobile. Also if internet is not stable, it disconnects. And one more thing is price, for more minutes or parallel runs you need to pay more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don’t have to maintain local setup for testing now. It’s easy to run automation on multiple browsers in cloud. This saves time and effort. We also use it in CI pipeline so now we get quick feedback after every deployment.
Browserstack was excellent for our QA team
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, i have observed which i would say i disliked about Browserstack
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining the physical environment for testing

What do you dislike about the product?
Some slowness and latency for Live Testing, particularly for heavy applications.
BrowserStack is relatively expensive, especially for small teams or individual developers, and lower-tier plans often limit the number of parallel sessions.
Debugging locally hosted or firewalled websites can be slower than testing on a local device.
BrowserStack requires an active internet connection since it’s entirely cloud-based, which can be a disadvantage in environments with unreliable connectivity.
Slow responses or insufficient solutions from customer support for technical issues, especially on lower-tier plans.

WCAG Testing
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack has a feature for WCAG Accessibility testing on mobile apps and the web as well. Here we can also automate our testing and reporting for any number execution.
Along with that we get a visual scanner with the Accessibility testing to test our app and web UI.
After the execution of the test we get a detailed report where we can also see the impacts of the issues discovered in the Accessibility testing.

What do you dislike about the product?
When you test for only accessibility testing it will take 1-2 min for a whole page of a website but when you turn on the visual scanner it is taking a lot of time for execution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have scheduled accessibility testing to run on every day at specific time on the day. For implementing this accessibility testing for our website we don't need to build any framework or create pipeline, everything we are doing related to accessibility testing is in its platform only.
