Insightful UI/UX testing tool that lets you see what customers are really seeing

  • May 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Browserstack is the use of real devices, this is vital in the testing and QA process leading up to a release. Implementing the tech into our existing stack was easy with the supporting documentation available.

Using browserstack was simply a case of adding in a new package and dependencies with some hooks for outcomes. This allows us to regularly run regression tests during our release cycle with much better quality data.
What do you dislike about the product?
When large tests packs are running it can sometimes be difficult to get them to stop. Usually it will stop the current scripts but still continue to trigger the next one. A full on kill switch would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the issue we have with QA testing on mobile devices and multiple browsers. This is helping us keep up to date with modern systems in our UX and UI testing.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's my go to platform for testing websites on different versions and flavors of devices. It supports devices going back 10+ years and has every browser version you could possibly want. The dev tools are great and being able to take screenshots and record sessions is extremely useful for sharing with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video compression from the devices isn't perfect, would definitely like the quality of that to be improved. There is also a bug where screen recording won't stop sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to test across all the devices we have to support without actually having to have the physical devices. Which is extremely convenient when working remotely away from the office.

App Live is best for Mobile App

  • April 22, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack has a lot of features for automation and manual testing. I like and mostly use it app live feature for manual testing on different devices. as currently I own iOS device but to test our android app it is very challenging for me to borrow test device from IT dept as they are always low on inventory. This is when Browserstack App Live feature comes into the picture. I can now test on various devices within a single dashboard. Also, it has a great feature where we can see the logs of our app.
We can also report the bugs directly through the Browserstack's dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
While launching any device it takes a lot of time. Even some times it crashes and lanches the device after a very long time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solving our problem of borrowing different devices for more coverege of devices for testing. But now with its App Live feature we can test on serveral devices from one dasboard.

What do you like best about the product?
How we can organize and visualize test results. The interface for network logs is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I find it hard to use the manual testing solution. We also were having issues with appium + iOS stability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile functional regression tests. Sometimes we are using for performance review (instrumenting transitions of our application) and in rare occasions we can use to investigate some device specific bugs.

Cracked UI Testing

  • April 19, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We can identify issues for images, colors and many more visuals.
Sometimes our image is not loading completly on some devices and with our existing Automation suite we make it pass as It says that it has image element. But now if our image is not loading on some particular device or there is color different Browserstack's percy can detect this and show us the report.
We have scheduled a piepline with percy and it shows us report after every deployment which make our product more reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basically, percy is finding the CSS issues which we can also write from scratch. But for mobile apps writing script to catch CSS issues is a tough task and browserstack should extent Percy to Mobile Apps also
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier it was a tough task for us to identify the UI bugs where image is not loading, color is incorrect. Our UI automation framework wasn't effective as it wasnt able to eleminate the visuals issues. Before Percy we use to manually identified all the visual bugs time to time with eavery release but now this also helps us to reduce our workforce. Now with the help of Percy we are confident with our product.

I'm now a Automation Expert

  • April 19, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack's low code automation has a great feature which enables me to write automation script without much knowledge of test framework.
I can use that automation script on various browsers to run and test my web apps.
It gives us a detailed report and also I have created a pipeline and integrated my script which runs daily and we get issues which are on production.
What do you dislike about the product?
Browserstack's other features are great but its low code automation is limited to only web app. It doesn't support Android and iOS mobile apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Although, there is free alternative for browserstack's low code automation in browsers to which write scripts. But that doesn't support giving detailed report and test suite. Here we are writing scripts and setting up a proper test automation suite. As a Project Manager, I dont write automation script but with the help of low code automation I am writing my own scripts in the initial development phase as we know that on inital phase of development there is lot of change in UI. And for this use Low Code Automation is the perfect solution.
