Excellent platform(PAAS) for software testing
What do you like best about the product?
I am using Browserstack for almost a year everyday. I have to say this is a great platform for software testing. It has all the necessary tool for mobile app and web testing. Moreover, it has advanced logging capability to debug the test. And we are mainly using Microsoft technology and it has great support and integration for .NET testing framework. It has even better support for Nodejs as this platform is mostly made up with Nodejs. It has a great product documentation which makes it easy to code for any framework we use from nodejs or .net like jest or MSTest. At the same time, It has examples in github which makes it more easier to adopt in the codebase.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is only one downside I got which was lack of support for legacy technology like Windows form of WPF applications. They do not support desktop applications like these.

BrowserStack makes testing frontend changes quick and efficient. I like that I can test any changes on a range of different devices and operating systems all from within a single tool. This speeds up my job and means I can ensure that the site I am working on is responsive and adapts to all mdoern browsers and devices. It is also very useful when trying to track down device-specific bugs!
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes find that the devtools do not load properly or crash. Apart from this I have had no issues though!

Pleased with BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
The team at BrowserStack always seems to be innovating. They are very responsive in their communications and using the tool has been fairly simple without requiring that we go through a rigorous training of any kind. Further they continually offer thought leadership and are transparent about the features that they are working to bring to market.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not always in the trenches, but have heard from my team that they wish there were more features around testing and reporting on digital accessibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps keep overhead down. Before BrowaserStack we would maintain a large assortment of physical devices and machines to perform tests on.
Overall Excellent

Great tool for browser testing
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack offers us a quick and straightforward way to test our frontend development work in multiple browsers. It's particularly useful for testing in Safari since our development team works only on Windows PCs. For testing on mobile devices, it's great that BrowserStack allows us to test our work without having to keep a stock of physical devices. Very helpful and saves on costs especially as we work mostly from home!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sometimes a little laggy but not unworkable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a web agency, we have a business problem in that we must test our clients' websites across multiple browsers and devices, but the team works remotely on Windows PCs. BrowserStack solves this problem as it allows us to test on multiple browsers and devices without buying Macs or various mobile devices for the team to test on.
Efficient cross-browser testing platform with minor integration hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack provides an excellent environment for cross-browser and cross-device testing without requiring physical access to multiple devices. The platform’s ease of use, wide range of supported browsers, and real device testing capabilities significantly streamline QA processes. The instant access to virtual devices is particularly helpful for debugging and validating responsive designs efficiently. Their integration with CI/CD pipelines further simplifies automated testing workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is robust, the integration with certain CI/CD tools can be cumbersome to set up initially, especially for custom configurations. Additionally, the performance of live testing can occasionally lag on some real devices, which might slow down workflows. Pricing could also be more competitive for smaller teams or projects with limited budgets.

BrowserStack simplifies cross-browser testing by providing instant access to real devices and environments, eliminating the need for maintaining physical hardware. It streamlines our QA process, ensures compatibility across platforms, and integrates seamlessly with our automation workflows, saving time and improving product quality.
Improving Usability for Beginners in BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack is great for device related testing, and we are using it for mobile apps. Since we manage content in AEM CMS, we use BrowserStack to review the changes efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue is that it can be challenging for beginners to navigate and get started. The user interface should be more straightforward and intuitive for first time users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We actively use it for mobile app testing. Since our content is managed in AEM CMS, we depend on Browser Stack for verifying the changes made in the CMS across various devices. This ensures that the content and design render correctly on mobile platforms. We use Browser Stack for testing both staging and production environments to validate updates before and after deployment. It helps in testing of different devices and operating systems helps us maintain a consistent user experience across platforms.
Wide Device Range
What do you like best about the product?
I like that BrowserStack provides ready-to-use devices, saving us the need to purchase our own. It offers a wide range of testing devices on multiple platforms and OS, which is a great help for us since our software needs to run on various platforms and up-to-date OS. This variety allows us to verify the quality and behavior of our software across different devices. The initial setup of BrowserStack is not difficult and can be done by non-tech people, except for the SSO integration. Overall, I'd rate it perhaps 8 or 9 out of 10 for recommending it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main concern is pricing. It is not competitive compared to the alternatives. Also, when new device models become available on the market, it would be great if BrowserStack could add them to their device pool quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack provides ready-to-use devices, eliminating our need to purchase them. It offers a wide range of testing devices on multiple platforms and OS, helping us verify our software's quality and behavior effectively.
