Fully managed Selenium Grid
What do you like best about the product?
We use Browserstack Automate at our company for at least 4 years now and I can say that the capabilities that they provide are great. It provides a fully managed Selenium Grid, a Local testing utility to test applications hosted on local network, Geolocation, Test Downloads, Video recordings of tests and many more.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is probably above my paygrade, but I think the license cost is a bit on the higher side, since we were not able to get multiple parallel threads easily. Our org rejected the proposal due to financial reasons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managed Selenium Grid, Test recordings, Parallel execution of tests, Local testing ability, Geolocation. This enables use to concentrate more on our testing than managing a grid with the above capabilities ourselves.

Prices are high but worth moneyif you use it daily.

BrowserStack offers an extensive list of browsers and devices for testing, integrates well with popular development and testing tools, and supports automated testing frameworks

BrowserStack's pricing is relatively high compared to other testing solutions, especially for smaller projects. Sometimes I feel that the automation features could be more robust or may encounter occasional issues with test scripts.

The challenges of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing, improve collaboration among our team and support automated testing to enhance the overall quality and user experience of web applications.

The dashboard with the builds. I like the GUI and the logs.

The cost. A little expensive for a small company or a small project.

We don't have to buy many devices. Browserstack provides wide range of mobile devices and that too at one place with great features of install via APK/IPA, install via playstore/testflight

Very easy to use, there are many advanced technologies available on the platform.

Paid version makes it difficult for small scale companies to use it. Price needs to be lower down a bit or introduce a free version with basic features.

It allows us to test on multiple latest devices which most of the simulators don't allow.
