A great testing tool
What do you like best about the product?
The number of actual devices you can use, with combinations of OS and browser, it really does what it says on the tin. You don't need a mass of knowledge of technical things (although we generally do) and can get going in just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't a downside as such, but the ability to upload an APK or Test flight on a device would be a boon (unless I've missed it, there's a lot of options!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The console/browser based screen resizing can only show you so much, and we only have a limited budget for buying real devices to test on, so having the ability to use so many devices is amazing. Also, even if we had all the devices we needed to use, there's so much overhead to recording or screenshots and then sending them to tickets and evidence folders, being able to have all that come from one place is great.

sometimes we get errors that are browserstack specific and do not occur on real devices.

For me personally, it has been really helpful in testing out applications of multiple and different types of devices

Its pricing plans are great for teams and organsation but when it comes to individual user, i found it a bit on the expensive side
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack is most beneficial for solving parallel test execution on multiple devices. It has benefited me and my team since we have web, desktop and mobile app for our product. It allows us verify same test cases on different types and version of devices and operating systems

It major is the setup and maintainence of the testing environment.
Emulator best alternative
What do you like best about the product?
We can now test our mobile apps and webapps on several other devices and browsers. Its live and App Live features enables us to perform manual testing on number of devices and browsers on single dashboard.
It is more accurate then any emulator as they say they offers us the real devices to test on.
Apart from Manual testing we can also write our test case and manage it from Browserstack itself which make testing process very seamless.

What do you dislike about the product?
While opening any app on App Live it took long time to setup and open the device whereas for launching browser it works perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using its App Live and Live feature for manual testing. When we have limited physical real devices we use browserstack to overcome this problem. Now our team can test apps on any platform whether it is Android or iOS without physically owing them.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about browserstack is that we dont have to worry about number of emulators to test our scripts. We just need to change device configuration on our script and we are good to go to run script on number of devices without any hassle.

It should also give some feature to test api also. For APi we have to again swithc to different platform.

It greatly benefits organizations with large teams, enabling everyone to utilize BrowserStack without relying solely on physical devices for testing.
Awesome testing tool for my multiple device testing
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that there are multiple real devices to choose from and and I love that I can video record my use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that many times it is very slow to load the devices and my clicks are very slow at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer have to purchase mobile devices because BrowserStack has a very large amount of real devices that I can tap into.

Not as easy as it should be to run local code of a website into the device, iOS devices are more restricted.
