Automated browser testing has reduced manual effort and saves significant testing time
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for BrowserStack is automating some of the test cases. A quick specific example of a test case I automate with BrowserStack is some of the application URLs.
What is most valuable?
BrowserStack has helped us with automating our test cases by reducing the time by almost 60%. The best features BrowserStack offers include giving us an automated way to simulate different browsers or devices, and I mostly use the browser simulation features. BrowserStack has positively impacted my organization by helping us reduce the human capacity by 50%, with that reduction mostly being in manual testing efforts.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
Effortless Test Case Writing, Impressive Results
What do you like best about the product?
Writeitng Test cases converting from house to seconds
What do you dislike about the product?
The accuracy of AI-generated results should ideally be 100%. Anything less places an unnecessary burden on the tester.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writing test cases, maintaining a shared repository, and manually adding data sets are all valuable practices. Combining these methods with AI-generated test cases makes the process even more effective and enjoyable.
Effortless Mobile Testing with Powerful Automation and Seamless Evidence Capture
What do you like best about the product?
App Live makes repros trivial. Upload APK/IPA, pick the exact device/OS, and capture video + screenshots + logcat/syslog in one link, perfect for crisp Jira tickets.
Evidence in one place. Session URLs bundle video, network/HAR, device metadata, and WebView console logs, no tool-hopping. The tunnel hits feature-branch APIs behind VPN, we toggle locale/RTL, timezone, geolocation, and 3G/4G/offline profiles to mimic real users.
App Automate scales fast. We shard Appium suites across ~30 real devices (e.g., Pixel 8, iPhone 13), tag by branch/commit, and finish PR gates in ~15 minutes instead of ~60.
What do you dislike about the product?
Peak-time queues on popular iPhones, making cold starts slower than simulators. iOS signing quirks (entitlements/universal links) can stall first-time setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real devices/OS combos surface emulator-only misses, “works on my machine” escapes dropped ~30–40%. Faster, trustable CI signal - Parallel App Automate cuts PR loop to ~15 minutes with artifacts that speed triage/MTTR by ~60–70%. Reproducible edge cases which means deep links, SSO, RTL, and throttled-network bugs are provable in App Live in minutes, not days.
Automation Dashboard and App Automate Make Testing Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Dashboard & App Automate for mobile automation
What do you dislike about the product?
Not feel any issue with browser stack for mobile app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick integration with mobile apps
Easy access for automation dashboard
Video Playback Makes Test Debugging Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
What I found most helpful is the ability to watch video playback of automated test executions. This feature makes it easy to pinpoint exactly what went wrong and where in the app the issue occurred.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the new dashboard somewhat confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Parallel Execution
wide range of device coverage
Video Playback
Logs for debugging
Excellent for Compatibility and Cross-Browser Testing, Fully Satisfied

Effortless Beta Testing, But Licensing Limits Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack is a cloud platform that is easy to access and allows you to get the latest device OS versions on demand. It also enables you to perform beta testing efficiently.
Especially customer support was easy to access and get the timely response.
What do you dislike about the product?
A separate license is required for each product, and with the basic license, we are limited to up to 5 threads running in parallel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running our scripts on different devices for device coverage
Flexible, Scalable Testing Across Devices Without Extra Hardware
What do you like best about the product?
It provides a flexible and scalable solution to test applications across different browsers, operating systems, and devices without the need for physical hardware or virtual machines. BrowserStack supports testing of both Android and iOS mobile applications. Users can test their applications on real devices, avoiding the need to purchase multiple devices
What do you dislike about the product?
Screenshot Testing
While it allows you to take screenshots across multiple browsers and devices, it’s static and doesn’t capture dynamic behavior, animations, or user interactions.
It’s useful for visual regression but limited in scope for functional testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Local Testing
Enables testing of internal or staging environments using BrowserStack Local, helping catch issues before production.
Integration with CI/CD Tools
Seamlessly integrates with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc., enabling automated testing as part of your deployment pipeline.
Scalable and Innovative, But Auth Testing Can Be Frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
Scalability and innovation. Availability to all the required devices and browsers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we face challenges running some auth based tests in browserstack devices which is frustrating. Currently we are having one such challenge in one of our projects where sometimes auth0 is not returning response when trying to login from browser stack device whereas this issue is not happening in real device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can run my tests of any device and can do it using schedulers. So my device coverage is increased and test schedulers are run without need of keeping any in house devices up all the time.
