Seamless integrations and consistency across environments
What do you like best about the product?
Its integration have been hands down its top feature. The number of features it provides is also a plus with SAML outta the box with Okta being easy to setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
The local setup with a DOPPLER_TOKEN can be a bit combersome to understand and implement. Usally entailing with with custom scipts. Now this might be due to our workflows but overally I was recently working to get a new project setup with doppler in a dev container and it wasn't as easy locally as I would have hoped.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its solving being the single source of truth for our secrets across all environments.

Amazing service, so easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Its interface is excellent, all guides are easy to understand, I didn't have any difficulty integrating Doppler into my existing projects and now I use it every time I start a new one.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't found anything I particularly dislike. They come up with updates to introduce features I didn't know I missed. Biggest dislike of mine may be that login sessions in the web application only last a month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all of my secrets in a single place, without depending in a local .env file that I might need to share with different computers in order to be able to continue my developments.
Time and effort saving like never before
What do you like best about the product?
Doppler enabled us to manage secret in a really professional and easy way.
Most of our secrets are used in kubernetes or github actions.
The kubernetes operator works like a charm, restarting the pods whenever needed (a secret changed)
Secrets also works like a charm in github actions
The terraforming experience is (nowaday) pretty solid
SSO with SCIM is now saving us time during onboardin/offboarding
We managed to build our own scripts to rotate secrets whenever needed. We can change secrets in our entire ecosystem in less than 3 minutes. That's a real timesaver.
Customer support is really following us closely (we are running enterprise, so that may vary with other plans)
The UI is solid and reasonable.
API response time is really good and we're bombarding Doppler with tens of thousands of requests per day.

We are still missing some advanced feature on the CLI/GUI to compare secrets and configurations.
But our usecase is maybe a bit edge/limit.
And they're still adding feature every month, so we'll just wait for now.

What do you like best about the product?
Now I am able to share and manage our application secrets across the team effectively.

We not using all the features from Doppler, I think we cound count with a more accessible plan

We do not have to keep storing secrets in different places and share across any means, we just have to keep Doppler updated and give our employees access to droppler
Asides the limited of full ownership for all users on the paid plan, Doppler has been a great tool

What do you like best about the product?
Not having to manually share env files to co developers. Easily switching env files on the fly. The cli is very helpful both locally and on deployment. It's very easy to use compared to other competitors
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about the product. I can suggest that there will be more documentation for different CI CD for best practices. Aside from that is a great tool

Secret sharing among peers. Ease of onboarding. Ease of using env variables in kubernetes deployments. Ease of seyting up CI CD pipelines. Faster env file creation
Simple, Universal Secrets
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of managing large numbers of secrets across multiple projects, and multiple environments per project. Doppler's ability to work in every deployment environment and across all of our software stacks is invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little to dislike about Doppler. The only minor complaint that I would have is that changing the name of a referenced secret where it is declared does not change the name of the secret everywhere it is referenced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Doppler has solved our need to quickly update environment variables across deployments, and during development. If a developer changes an environment variable there is no longer a need to circulate a new .env file, the changes just propagate straight away.
Nice tool to manage secrets and configuration variables
What do you like best about the product?
it very dynamic as I can have multiple environments, also it is easy for the team to share configuration variables very fast, usually we had to share a dot env file and share it with the whole team every time we did an update
What do you dislike about the product?
- the version we have does not support roles, so we don't use doppler for real production environments secrets management, only for configuration variables.
- The pricing, at least for a latin american startup, is high as paying fully for this service it costs more than the servers we use, at $18 per user per month we rather use AWS Secrets manager for production

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All developers have the same variables, also we keep consistency thought all our environments
It is really easy to have all necessary secret and config variables listed in one place

So far, a great service and well-executed
What do you like best about the product?
I like having the ability to control access to different projects and environments depending on users, so this makes it easier to manage new developers that may come and go, without having to provide sensitive information. Also, I really like that there's a command line interface as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
What can I say? I'm fully on the bandwagon and would love to see a dark mode! :-) Also, it seems a flat rate for a team cost might be good in some situations, instead of only having a per user cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first problem was mentioned above, and its that Doppler allows me to manage new developers coming on and not having to issue out new secrets or share sensitive information unnecessarily. Also, not having to provide secrets speeds up the amount of time needed to get a new developer started. Also, it saves time when something new is added and there's no need for devs to contact you needing the new secret that was added, it just works for them automatically.

No negative comment so far, the product is awesome

Before using doppler, out devs copy and paste the secrets required to run our application and send it via char or email. But after using doppler we dont need that again
