Jamf is a fast and easy way to Apple devices.
What do you like best about the product?
The granularity of Jamf Pro or ease of use with Jamf School there is an option for every need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the support responce can be delayed during a critical issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device enrollment, app and OS patching and device and app managment.

I wish the top row could freeze and I could select mulptile devices to either delete or enable lost mode

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use Jamf Pro with Apple devices. Jamf Pro makes securing devices very easy and effective. As we have Jamf integrated with Apple Business Manager new devices are automatically enrolled.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to find issues, you find out about them when it's too late, and Jamf aren't great at providing the solution. Rebuilding a laptop because it won't report it's recovery key is a hard sell to a user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of how to secure our devices. Because it is closely aligned with Apple, the installation process is very easy.
Great Apple MDM
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro is the best MDM out there that I've used for managing Apple devices. They always have same-day support for new OS versions and quickly add new features based on them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't have the greatest mobile interface, especially on smart phones. It works better on tablets, though. There are some quirks (as with everything). Also, some bugs that don't get fixed as quickly as they could, but anything critical is fixed promptly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf is great for integrating with other products. With it's API, our security team is able to use Splunk to create various dashboards monitoring a machine's compliance against our standards.
JAMF Pro and how it makes my life managing Mac's easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Ive been using JAMF for over 10 years now! Its simple. .. easy to understand.. provides me with the best way to managed macOS and IOS devices in my org with ease!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a simply link in a policy or search bar on the main dash board to look for polices or script instead of needing to do multiple clicks to get to polcies or scripts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the ability to managed at scale the large amount of mac's that my company has! We have thousands of mac globaly and without JAMF .. there would be no way we can manged them all..

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf has amazing support and use of functionality, the features they add are great with the ablity to customize the build as needed. The user community has years of information and support for others that use it. Ive used it for 8+ from on-prem to cloud and its been seamless all the way around.
What do you dislike about the product?
On-Prem Jamf Server always seems to be more loops to jump through with the Jamf Support team. The On-Prem Server back-end does not support the latest RHEL 8 (which was released in 2019, with RHEL 7 ending support in less than 1 year) and the documenation seems dated for setup for the RHEL support in general.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently im in a Federal enviroment that has restrictions, settings, and software that must be deployed securely. All of which is designed to harden the OS from internal and external threats. It allows me to manage there devices seamlessly without concern of user adjustment. We deploy things such as certifcates, Software, Plist Settings, commands, and then collect information via API and local for other systems.

I apprciate the forwardness of using this product. It is simple to use but is not limited on how we mangae and upkeep our fleet

I wish there was a clean way to see or export what each policy/profile does.

It is alwaying use to create and maintain a balance of security and user experience throughout our modile device and macs

Jamf Pro is THE standard for Apple Device Management. We love the ability to change use cases over the air via Jamf Setup!

Slow to integrate requested enhancements from user community

Allows us to have granular control over our iOS fleet.

How easy it was to learn very quickly. As someone with little prior systems experience, it was very easy to pick up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything specifically that I have issues with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing devices amomg multiple sites is made easy with Jamf Pro.
Makes Managing Apple Devices Easier
What do you like best about the product?
What I find useful is all the graphical interfaces that I can use to push updates, create smart gorups, and keep track of all of my devices. Constant updates and QoL changes really keeps things running smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There doesn't appear to be and glaring or harmful downsides of using jamf. Just making sure that the device is imaged properly and has the proper certificate signatures really makes managing them easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure that devices are updated and meeting compliance when it comes to security vulnerabilites. It also helps to have the devices locked down with profiles to protect the device's integrity and use for all users.
