Jamf is awesome!
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool to help manage macs. I love the auto enrollment

We just started using jamf so nothing at this time

Jamf is making us more efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf gives us the ability to manage apple devices without impacting the user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have many great products but it can be confusing to know what you need. There are different prices for iOS vs Marcos. Wish they would just count as a device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have leveraged multi user devices and patching and application deployment.
The best platform for Mac management
What do you like best about the product?
The community of admins and tech support make it so much easier to use. Their tech support is prompt knowledgeable and friendly. Their tech training is comprehensive and well thought out. It excels in keeping things managed and patched.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are features that I find are lacking but, they seem willing to change and in recent years some of those lacking features are being added more and more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security patching monitoring and inventory are all huge benefits to our team. The ability to address problems and introduce new software to our Mac fleet is spectacular.
Makes My Life Easier
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro helps us zero-touch deploy iPads at each property. We just started using it for Apple TV's too!
What do you dislike about the product?
We would like each type of device to do to a default configuration profile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro let's us deploy a device straight from Apple with their free shipping rather than wasting it on shipping it to us to just ship it to the property!

automating on boarding. Scripting in general has been a fantastic experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI. It really needs some work in comparison to the competitors.

Making my life easier by making sure I'm not putting out fires all the time

What do you like best about the product?
My goal with Jamf Pro is to make user forget Jamf is in the picture. I don't want the machine to bother the user. Jamf Pro makes this possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the documentation is awful. The admin guide manages to run some 650 pages and says absolutely nothing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fleet management in an environment where the users themselves are hostile (from an IT perspective!) we manage about 30k devices in the K- 12 market space

Jamf has helped get companies I've worked at working and efficient in the easiest way possible.

Jamf has been growing and releasing new products which include growing pains.

Zero touch deployment
I have had great success with customer service at Jamf.

zero touch deployment. Management of our MacBooks

Downside is devices do not check in as well in Jamf Pro as in Jamf School

It alllows us the ability to let our users be local admins on devices but managerd through policy.
Best Apple Focused Event around
What do you like best about the product?
JAMF provides me with the ability to manage my Apple devices quickly and efficiently. There isn't anything as powerful on the market to help give me the peace of mind. The best thing I like about it is that it is simple to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the solutions had a little bit more automated in their deployments. There is a bit of a learning curve to implementing some of the solutions. JAMF Connect can be pretty technical and having to figure out all the right Scripps and variables. A GUI interface would have made that a lot simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a diverse workforce working in many different locations around the globe, JAMF is helping me to be able to quickly manage these devices, and provide quick and easy set up.
Life with jamf
What do you like best about the product?
Jamfs ability to distill down Mac management to almost a single pane of glass.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform navigation can give me some heartburn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Almost have our Mac zero touch problem solved. They helped us solve the ability to update org password while being offpremise or without VPN active.
