Make your life easier
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can deploy applications and that you can manage your enterprise to adhere to government regulations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The asset management within JamF is perfect except for the fact that it is a moment in time. It would be very convenient when it could be used for audit purposes by saving the sate of the inventory per month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Application distribution => make available one version of an app to be used by several people
- Asset Management => comprehensive inventory of all our devices which we use for auditing purposes
- Policy management => enforcing certain settings such as screensaver settings, harddrive encryption and others....

Do not hesitate and go for it! It makes our lives managing devices a lot easier.

Nice Apple MDM solution
What do you like best about the product?
Smart computer groups; app catalogue and package software

Hmmm no idea for the moment! I like all the features

Doing a lot of thinks without having access to the macOS and iOS physically

You can configure everything voor Mac and IOS

Interface needs an upgrade and the home screenlayout

Out of the box experience for the user
Jamf Pro helping us control updates and roll outs easily.
What do you like best about the product?
Some of the benefits are keychain management, Patch management for apps alongside restricted software and blocking activation locking. Self Service is also fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Noting it's just a massive project to undertake and it will need external support on the initial setup and getting your head rounds scripts. Can be a pain sometimes with all the PPPC and Kext config but I can live with that!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us spend as little time as possible building macs and avoiding us having to remote onto users machines to solve issues and push out apps to them without them needing admin rights to install them, Thus locking down their laptops more securley.
Can't find a better MDM for Apple devices
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Helpful support. Big community using Jamf. Very powerful tool. Always looking to improve the product. Resolves issues we had with domain join Macs. Easy to deploy macs in a enterprise. Easy for end users to use the Self Serivce. Improves security as removes the need for local admin passwords on Macs. Removes the need to remote onto Macs unless there is a major issue with a Mac. Useful logs for policy and software usage. Config profiles can push out EAP TLS Wi-Fi very easily and can be done by a click of a button and doesn't need to be on our network, where as before we had Jamf Pro this was very hit and miss to get a Mac onto EAP TLS wi-fi and needed physical access to the Mac in the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not easy to pull off logs for policy usage or software usage to send off for reporting. Some iOS devices need a reboot every so often as they don't always send inventory or install new config profiles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Removed a local support account with admin rights on every Mac. Users now using just EAP TLS Wi-Fi in the office and no back-up WPA2 network. Resolves FileVault and AD password sync issues as we use Jamf Connect with Azure AD. Standises all Macs in the business and helps with our CyberEssentials & ISO 27001.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The community using Jamf Pro is massive and there is a lot of 3rd party apps to help!
Jamf is the best tool for managing our MacBooks and Iphones
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf is easy to use, it helps us maintain our little fleet of devices. The webinars and lots of short videos are great for understanding and learning about Jamf
What do you dislike about the product?
Patch Management was not working properly at our site for a period of time, it seems to be working now so probably it was our own lack of getting the upgrades in as soon as possible.

Jamf Pro is helping us with our audits and getting grip on our assets

Jamf Pro enables our users to provision their devices without any interaction from the IT department.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support from Jamf can be a little inconsistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro solves the problem of users being able to setup their own devices. This frees up the time of our support staff.

Mostly built in functionality reduces need for OS dependant scripts. API endpoints to help automate tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always at the forefront in support Apple MDM commands immediately (eg ScheduleOSUpdate)

Pretty easy to configure and deploy settings, packages or profiles
