Best Mac MDM Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I like that JAMF is zero-day-ready on most Apple products and services. They keep their stuff up to date and with Admins in mind so that the Admins can focus on their end-users.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to pay for it. I joke but working for an institution that cannot purchase all, and it would be nice to have all JAMF products versus just the main Pro. I do see the reasons, but it is my dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are imaging our macs and managing them as they go throughout the lifecycle. There is so much more JAMF can do that I am attempting to implement as we move further along.

Best Tool to manage Mac
What do you like best about the product?
Whether it 25 or 1000's mac, Jamf Pro makes it easy to manage pkg, script, restrictions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Patch management feature required pkg upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zero Touch onboarding with custom enrolment and management of Cooperate Restrictions
Plenty options and a very supportive community to learn anything you need to know.
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf has such a vibrant and helpful community. The software just seems to get better the more I use it and helps me achieve solutions to what used to be difficult tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
My cloud instance logs out too quickly. That's all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device encryption was a easy to deploy, keeping software up to date, blocking software and macOS installs are a few of the ones I've been doing lately.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro's reliability and flexibility..
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain Features are not released as quickly as desired based on new releases of macOS/iOS. There seems to be a bit of a delay when a new OS arrives before support is released for whatever new feature is added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy for a beginner to get started with the foundations of MDM. After a while, you realize that Jamf Pro's power is flexed by leveraging scripts to accomplish tasks that aren't baked in, or that are unique to your environment. The various policy triggers that are available simply work, which provides peace of mind when addressing issues on your mac fleet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jamf Pro is the golden standard for Apple device management in the enterprise and is a best of class MDM for the Apple platform.

Full management ability of MacOS machines

The interface can use an update but other than that nothing else that I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pushing apps, policies, and configurations to managed machines allows us to secure our environment correctly.

JAMF Pro - Do Everything and Anything
What do you like best about the product?
JAMF Pro is an all-encompassing toolbox allowing mac admins to manage their fleet of macOS, iOS and tvOS devices with ease. The notion that JAMF Pro can help us overcome any situation we are faced with through its flexible policies, configuration profiles, integration with 3rd party software and API integrations, makes anything possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
JAMF Pro is amazing in so many ways, items in which I dislike are few and far between. Most of the time anything I dislike, I just wasn't going about it the right way. JAMF is quick to act on feature requests and improvements to their software platforms based on the feedback of their customers. US!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing a fleet of macOS devices allowing authentication to occur in a cross forest multiple domain trust. We are deploying macOS devices using zero touch deployment procedures with little to no IT interaction. We are able to easily distribute apps when required and keep our student labs up to date and functioning properly, leading towards student success.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JAMF Pro is a toolbox, its not going to do the job for you. You need to educate yourself on its tools and then in practice implement them. Eventually, your skills will be strong enough to create any solution you need for your environment.

If your organization is serious about managing Apple Devices, Jamf is the MDM solution with the most extensive admin base (and admins are always eager to help other admins). Jamf has the best selection of features that are not found in other solutions. Because it only manages Apple devices, it can focus in a way that other MDMs cannot.
Jamf Pro Works Well
What do you like best about the product?
It works well for managing macOS and iOS, and with the cloud version of Jamf Pro you can be up and running in minutes and don't have to worry about upgrades. Jamf Pro is also more cost-effective than other MDM platforms on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the options/screens in Jamf Pro are for legacy use cases and don't work on the newer versions of macOS so that can be frustrating. Some things I think should be configurable in Jamf Pro require you to write a script instead of just selecting some options in the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing all the macOS and iOS devices in our environment from initial deployment to disposal.

Currently running 2 MDM solutions, and the divide is evident, jamf is the clear winner. More features, faster support, and ease of use/management all separate it from the pack
What do you dislike about the product?
Some specific features are in a feature requests that seem not to get any traction, even though several clients would benefit greatly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are patching apps/OS, managing settings with profiles, and using notifications to give our users a clean, minimally impacted device management experience.
Jamf Pro is absolute solution for Apple Ecosystems. Mac Admins love and completely rely on it.
