What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create your own content instead of just using 3rd party apps
What do you dislike about the product?
The content filter is a little lackluster, sorry

Smart groups and their ability to be manipulated to more than a few object variables

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf has an excellent support team and is regularly implementing great new features as a result of user demand.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some things that other MDMs allow to be managed easily that Jamf requires more complex solutions (e.g. a script) to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf allows us to secure our Mac environment and feel confident in deploying these workstations to our users around the world.

What do you like best about the product?
Remote access to devices, installing software and keeping systems up to date. Giving users the ability to install their own software and printers through Self Service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a good system for updating MacOs. Computers periodically drop communication with Jamf and no way to revive them except to touch them. I don't like the fact that I don't have control over Configuration profiles, no way to force them to install. Some take days and others never install at all. I'd rather push software than wait for the device to ask for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a good hardware inventory of all of our macs. Keeping macos and applications up to date. Give users the ability to install software and printers via Self Service. Otherwise we would have to increase our staff to deal with it.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability. It has great ability, but can be tough to wrangle.
What do you dislike about the product?
The wrangling requires oodles of training or time spent mucking about and breaking stuff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves how to properly manage 1000 devices. It does this well, as long as you have a clear idea of what you want.

What do you like best about the product?
Simplifies prestaging and enrollment for our mobile devices. Easy to administrate commands and management policies. All of our inventory updated and managed in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
JAMF support can sometimes be repetitive and tedious. Though things might take time for troubleshooting the overall consensus is good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inventory and asset management has become much more reliable and easy to clean up. This makes for quicker device turnover and replacement.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to configure and manage computers is crucial to an enterprise deployment like ours. Having all managed computers under one pane of glass is also very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard could be revamped a bit with folders or dropdowns to organize by categories that I would like to have control over (i.e. certain computers grouped with policy installs, patch management, etc. instead of just having each dashboard category pre-set for me).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deploying computers when onboarding new employees.
Updating apps in a timely and efficient manner.
Managing multiple stationary iPads.
Logs and policy history for security reviews.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf pro makes it possible to administer large mac environments all over the globe.
What do you dislike about the product?
While everything in life can be improved, I wouldn't say there is a downside to using Jamf Pro, unless you count becoming too dependent on it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf is allowing us to track inventory, update computers, and run reports to ensure all of our computers are up to date and secure without having to check each one (which would be impossible) physically.

What do you like best about the product?
JAMFPro is much more intuitive than some of the other MDM platforms I've used (specifically MobileIron). Management commands that are initiated get to the devices quickly. No waiting and having to keep pushing out check-in commands. I send a device unlock command, and the device gets it almost immediately. The ability to quickly throw together queries and reports in the web portal is also a big plus. I love how fast I can put a report together on the dashboard to track deployments.

JAMF Nation also has excellent support articles and resources for self-help. Almost everything I was unfamiliar with I was able to figure out using KB articles. The few times I had to open a support case, I was contacted very quickly, and the technicians were very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doing one-off searches for devices and computers can be clunky sometimes. It would be great to be able to type in a user name in device inventory and give me all devices registered to them. Right now I need to go to usernames, find them, then look at their registered devices. It's only a couple of extra steps but when you're doing it constantly throughout the day, it adds up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JAMF Pro helps us manage our MacBooks and iOS devices in a mixed environment. Many of our users are in the field and being able to remotely push settings and applications is very helpful. Our company only has one site with no satellite offices. If we needed to have the devices in hand to make changes it would be a nightmare. I have deployed iPads to field users located across the country using JAMF and have been able to do everything required remotely.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of creating prestage enrollments and enrollment customizations, as well as choosing which setup assistant steps to skip, make zero-touch registration possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching inventory, display fields on the search screen, and viewing which devices are in the scope for a particular prestage enrollment can sometimes be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us keep the student iPads functioning and manage all the apps that are used by students or requested by teachers. The process of distributing the devices to students has become much more efficient.

I like how I'm able to get access to all the information needed, including locking out devices and pushing out permissions and apps

not being able to utilizes Jamf Pro for all devices whether they are actively being used or not

Inventory management is the main problem solver with Jamf Pro along with thief protection in case users have their device lost or stolen when traveling
