Easy to use and well tailored for financial and reporting needs
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is well designed and user-friendly to meet the needs of the whole financial reporting cycle, from monthly closing to year end reporting to ICFR attestation. It does not only act as a central depositary of the financial reporting documentation, but also improve the systematic financial reporting process.
The implementation support team of FloQast also provided very valuable experience sharing and support and responded promptly to our questions and requests. It made the implementation very smooth and worry-free.
FloQast can also interface with our financial reporting system to obtain data for control needs such as reconciliation. It reduces the risk of manual data extraction manipulation and error.
All in all, FloQast becomes the daily tool we used for financial reporting purpose and I look forward to its great potentials for further enhancement.

What do you dislike about the product?
While the FloQast community is increasing, I look forward to have FloQast providing more templates or best practice sharing to enlighten its users (e.g. library of risk and respective control), especially for those companies that are new to SOX requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast provides a well structured way to document our financial close, reporting and internal control processes. It helps in making our processes and controls being more well-organised and documented to prepare for auditor attestation.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Set up was a little time consuming for me b/c we used one spreadsheet for all our recs - however tbh nothing outrageous and probably pretty typical when implementing a new system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company is part of a much larger parent company - we had a pretty manual ME close check list which really was not part of my process and I often didn't keep up w/ it until it was due and had to think back on the dates tasks were completed - our reconciliations we seperate and had to be loaded to another site - FloQast has combined both of these tasks into one and is just saving so much time -

You need to review tasks calendar to take into account legal holidays in a process flow

Floqast manages the process execution seamlessly by sequencing the tasks
A fresh system that seems to be working with the times
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to understand and seems a lot more modern compared to the one I have used previously.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. We've had teething problems, but that's typical with any new system as it involves a learning curve for the users.

FloQast automates tasks that used to require manual intervention, making our processes faster.
Financial Close Overview
What do you like best about the product?
The tool provides a great overview of the financial close process and current progress in a single view. Recurring tasks can be centrally tracked and set to recur. Documentation and SOX compliance evidence retained by the tool. Great feedback from the team on account reconciliation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing model - individual licenses must be maintained by user with rights attached for the tool which can drive up costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized overview of the close process, account reconciliations, task coordination within the team, task tracking, and ensuring SOX evidence of review/timing.
Modern and user-friendly solution, very customer-oriented
What do you like best about the product?
The FloQast team works very efficiently to find the optimal solution to application errors and continuously develops its program to provide the most modern and flexible platform possible. FloQast's customer service is simply incredible: every request and every problem is dealt with as quickly as possible, so there is no long wait for the customer. The engagement of the team is excellent and exemplary.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the beginning it gives the impression that FloQast is already fully developed in all areas and that there are probably no difficulties in mapping your own processes and rules with FloQast without manual intervention as an interim solution. This is not yet the case at the moment and some interim solutions are required before a final solution can be found.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is simply failing to map complicated customer processes and rules via the program if they do not correspond to the standard. This is problematic because it forces the customer to adapt their processes and procedures to the standard in FloQast. The good thing, however, is that FloQast works immediately to implement these customer-specific requirements in the system and is constantly developing its program to implement all of its customers' requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the reminders; it keeps me on task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no dislikes, that's it. I have nothing else to say on the matter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is solving the reminder problem. Prior to FloQast I used OneNote to track task, but FloQast is better.

The ability to provide evidence for all tasks and to ensure all tasks are completed
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be quite rigid, some things it forces are not applicable to our situation and this can be fixed by making things a bit les rigid. There should be a better ability to document what has been done in the given period for checklist items. Linkage in the compliance module could be better
