Love the ease of reconciling
What do you like best about the product?
I love that FloQast is easy to use and anytime accounts get unreconciled you are notified. The customer support is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides of using FloQast. Doing reconcilations manually in Excel is the worst.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast makes it easy to reconcile accounts syncing with NetSuite. It saves a lot of time by easily bringing in the balances from the accounting system.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast makes it easy to see whichi reconciliations are completed and made changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
GL are not updated automatically so we need to update them manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All documents are saved digitally that makes it easy to find the documents I'm looking for.
Intuitive solution, speedy implementation, great value
What do you like best about the product?
We were contemplating a Blackline implementation prior to signing on to Blackline. It's simpler for our daily users, the implementation was quick, and all for a much more reasonable price tag.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the solution is great at the legal entity level, the solution lack features to accommodate large, multinational, multi-location enterprises. Modules like Flux aren't useful for our organization because it cannot handle consolidation or FX translation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast increases close visibility by getting month-end close tasklists out of Excel and into a cloud-based application with access to all authorized users. Dashboards also provide users and management visibility into the close and helps break down silos and uncertainty during close. The reconciliations module serves a similar purpose, allowing users to keep their Excel reconciliations while still linking up to dashboards and lists in FloQast, providing users and management real-time visibility into the status of reconciliations.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the possibility of tracking and having more insights about the close. The time that is taking the team to close the period, as well as to perform certain tasks that are important, and being able to visualize what's delaying the close and how can we improve.
The customer support everytime I send an email for help is actually pretty good and the FloQast team always try to help as soon as possible.
Lastly, the implementation process was pretty good. Joseph Bryant was our consultant at that time and we was always super supportive and helped us implement in the timeline we had planned.

What do you dislike about the product?
In our company we have lots of countries and legal entities created and so we have been asking the FloQast team to be able to filter the period we want to look at from the Dashboard - Overview tab for all entities. If the team is not done with MArch, and they are also working on April but May started already, it turns messy to see all months status for all worflows.
Also, not being able to select all workflows and have the Reconciliations and Analytics tab is something we also don't like. Specially the analytics tab, as we have to download the data for every workflow and then build a report that shows the statistics for all workflows and as you can imagine, this tasks can turn a little exhausting.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having more visibility on the amount of tasks the team has and identifying what tasks take the most to get done and why the close is late.
Customer service is great, it's easy to navigate and very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and allows us to easily track items we need to do for close. It's allowed us to create a more efficient close and the FQ team is always asking for feedback and really listens.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike at the moment

We are completing our monthly close process in a timely manner and it helps pinpoint variances.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great software to use. Helps with timely close process and helps keep track of monthly checklist items so they aren't missed or forgotten.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps me keep track of everything I need to do throughout the month-end process. We have hundreds of tasks and reconciliations and I can easily know what I need to be reviewing and I can easily see if anything is behind schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only negative with Floqast is that the pricing per user is absurdly high for what it actually does. It discourages us from using it in other ways for our business because the benefits do not justify the costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us ensure that everything is being done timely for our month-end process. It also helps us identify errors through our variance analysis.
FloQast is the best thing to happen for my month-end close!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast does an incredible job of helping me keep track of just about every item on my month-end close checklist. Every GL account in every subsidiary can be reconciled through FloQast and it connects directly with my accounting software (NetSuite) so there is no need to switch between both to reconcile.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little I dislike about FloQast. My one main complaint can be that the updating and refreshing of accounts can take some time, but this is more a minor annoyance than an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The efficiency of using FloQast is directly helping us to reduce the number of days required to close each month.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Reconciliations are easy to set up and monitor. Provide peace of mind knowing if something changes, system will alert you that reconcile is now out of balance.
What do you dislike about the product?
When reconciliations change but still reconcile both preparer and reviewer need to sign off again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking progress and timing of close. We know what items are open and impeding progress.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows you to streamline month end close with ease.

I don't see any downsides to using FloQast.

Solves any organizational challenges that come with the financial close. It also keeps you on time.
A powerful, yet flexible tool to streamline month-end.
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has transformed our month-end process for the better. Through its workflow platform, reconciliations, and recurring tasks, I am better able to keep tabs on our progress toward close and easily identify what teammates might need additional assistance in getting their work completed. I also regularly use its analytics functions to assess the output volume of various teammates in quantifiable ways, enabling those members to be rewarded in a manner that is commensurate with their contributions.
What do you dislike about the product?
FloQast isn't as "closed loop" a system as some of its competitors, notably BlackLine. FloQast would become even more valuable if it had the ability to build out additional logic pertaining to intercompany reconciliations and other items where both "sides" of the rec live within the accounting system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has help us solve multiple business problems. First, it helped us created a highly standardized and repeatable process for month-end close across our 70+ entities. Then, we were able to identify other operational workflow which benefit from FloQast's checklist and tracking functionality. FloQast have proved remarkably useful in serving as a repository of processes that otherwise ran the risk of living only in the minds of subject matter experts. I will also say that FloQast's continued development and additional functionalities have been spot on for the sort of things that benefit our organization. It seems like every time we ask about a potential enhancement, it is already in the pipeline slated for near-future release.
