FloQast Cut close time from 20 days to 10 days
What do you like best about the product?
Streamlined platform that is very user friendly. Houses all reconciliations in one easy spot. Very easy sync with our Intacct ERP system. I love how they continue to put out new products and continue to evolve to help the close management process become even more streamlined.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have had some minor bugs over the last couple months with regards to values showing up on the wrong entities reconciliations. Very minor items and they were resolved quickly however it did involve putting in a request ticket and some of our IT team's time which is not ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We close the books for 11 different entities each month. We also do consolidated statements. It helps us keep all the reconciliations neat and ensure they are done properly. We are also utilizing their permanent folder feature which helps us keep documents in a centralized location. We provide our auditors access which has been helpful to ease the burden of my team providing documents. They are able to pull their own data which is great. You can also restrict access to certain parts of FloQast so they cannot see review notes and internal comments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are on the fence about getting FloQast just take the plunge. Its one of the best tools my team has.

What do you like best about the product?
It keeps our team organized and on track for each month's close, even during busy times of the year. I can easily check who is on time with their tasks and who is behind and can get that member of the team to help with their tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike, however it would be helpful for Intacct to alert you when a new balance sheet account is being used. We have 10 entities we close monthly and sometimes we start to use a balance sheet account on one of those entities and forget to add it in Floqast for a few months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on track with close, but especially doing tasks that happen quarterly or annually like filing reports or submitting tax filings. Those things you tend to forget because you don't do them regularly, and FloQast is especially helpful for those items.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the ability to check things off.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the thing that I dislike are the multiple tabs can be difficult to navigate sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to check off different close items to make sure we are on track to close the books on time.
Excellent project management tool with month-end progress
What do you like best about the product?
I really like to see the progress at the end of the month, and without any problem, this platform is good at all; I can have all the tasks in one place and track them so that they have a successful closing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only problems in the maintenance of the archives; I wish it was more reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is good to have a clear view of the month-end processes and close the finance is lees time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend that you use the trial period, and once you realize that it is good, you will acquire it.

What do you like best about the product?
Floqast is user friendly and easy to use. It's an easy way to keep track of what needs to be done each month, whether balances have updated since the reconciliation was complete, and the close status (especially if there are multiple employees involved).
What do you dislike about the product?
If a prior month's balance changes, I don't get a notification that a completed reconciliation is out of balance therefore a prior months' recs might be off. It can also be difficult to navigate in the folders when you have multiple entities, you have to go into each entity separately even if the change you want to make will apply to all entities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When year end work is happening, you can give the auditors access to your Floqast. That way they automatically have access to all of your reconciliations without having to go through and actually send each one individually.
Great tool for month end close
What do you like best about the product?
Having the checklist to assign responsibilities with target dates for each member of the team keeps the close process running smoothly. The links to reconciliations within Floqast makes it easier to quickly review, saving time for the more complex issues that may come up.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have another filter that would allow you to search for a specific day or date in the Checklist and Reconciliations. It's difficult and time-consuming to make multiple changes at once if you can't use the "Bulk Reassign" since you have to navigate to each item in the list or navigate to multiple different pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast has helped my team stay on track with our close process. We are reporting for multiple entities, so it's great to keep track of everything that needs to be completed each month in Floqast.
Very practical
What do you like best about the product?
the ease of work between different apps..ease of communication within systems. Automatic cash reconciliations/matching is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
i can't think of anything right now ;( . .

reconciling balance sheet accounts....it so easy to keep them at a glance
Great tool for accounting Teams with big Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End Responsibilities!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to assign a task to a coworker. Once all tasks are assigned you feel way more organized and less stressed knowing that everything will be taken care of.
What do you dislike about the product?
No big issues or concerns, sometimes the reconciliations take a long time to update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a big company we have A LOT of tasks that need to get done for every month, quarter, and year. FloQast helps us stay organized and make sure everything gets done.
Not perfect, but damn close!!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the tracking ability and being able to "Follow" different tasks when they are followed up further up the chain
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish that multiple tasks due on the same day could be ordered by priority. Some items need to have other things completed first, and they should be listed in the order they need to be completed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Listing my tasks is terrific. I have so many that others in my department do not handle, and it gives more visibility to completions and work loads.

Until they can prioritize daily tasks, please make sure you enter the tasks in the order they need to be completed.
Great close tool, constantly improving
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to keep track of reconciliations and changes. I also love the ability to add checklists and easily refer to prior recs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the upload feature to update due dates. It is a bit clunky and i can't easily upload my updates. I have resorted to manual updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of the financial close and establish hard deadlines within a single platform. We have realized great benefits having moved off of paper binders.
