Perfect and Easy Colses with FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about FloQast is its improvement. Finally, the passing of updates is getting closer to being a complete program, with more precise functions and more optimization.
The FloQast support team is always available to solve any doubt. Unfortunately, we've had a couple of mix-ups with the program, but the support has helped us within an hour.
The best thing about FloQast is its ease of use. Anyone working in finance can use the software with little to no effort.

What do you dislike about the product?
We have had a few minor bugs in terms of operation, and they were fixed in less than an hour. Most of them are related to downloading large files.
I don't have any aspects that I don't like bout FloQast, especially since the updates are frequent.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast allows us to get organized at a time as bus as the closing days of the month.
The program's primary function is to keep track of the closing process in real-time so that each person involved knows what to do at all times. Also, the program is beneficial to automatically know if the accounts re balanced or not, a tedious task if done without external help.
The whole process is confirmed with just a couple of clicks. The result is a significant reduction in tie spent on closing for the finance department. Staff can devote themselves solely to supervision or tasks requiring specialized knowledge.

It is a complete and easy-to-use program, although I would still recommend trying it out before implementing it in your company. I recommend using FloQast to assign accounting tasks and use reminders to avoid stopping the workflow.
The Software for Perfect end Closes Each Month
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is impressive. It allows us to monitor the month-end closing checklist and account reconciliations.
With FloQast, we don't have to remind every accounting worker of their to-do list. Instead, just assign and place reminders when they are needed.
On the other hand, tracking and task management are simply perfect.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had any problems with FloQast, although it is true that I have not used any other similar product.
Perhaps it could be a little faster to reconcile balances because it takes a few seconds after clicking.
It is sometimes difficult to download files if they are too large, and it is easier to view them directly in the folder.

FloQast is our primary tool for organizing and tracking our close, and we do it in real-time. We use the software to extract all the general ledger and reconciliation files. In this way, we automatically see whether the accounts are well balanced or not.
To finish, we just press a button.
Although we only use the program for our customer invoices, it has been beneficial to know who is up to date and all other outstanding charges.
All this has led us to reduce significantly the time spent by the accounting department staff on monotonous tasks.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
FloQast does not have the function to assign priority to pending tasks. However, It won't be a problem as long as you order them according to how you want them to be done.
Best Close and Audit Software for every smart accountant
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, it is super-helpful in holding accountants accountable during the month, quarter or year end close as well as making audits faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not give a warning of likely delay in completing certain reconciliations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced the number of days for month, quarter and year end close. Also, it is now easy to manage and coordinate external audits and it takes less time.
Its very helpful when working with a team.

I love that I am able to add notes to tasks and files and tag people.

I dislike that the analytics we are unable to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have a smooth close and I can keep track of my tasks. I realized we can see how far we are along with the month end close because i can see where everyone is at with their tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is the easiest product to implement and update. We purchase companies weekly and the process to get them up and running in Floqast is so simple. The FloQast support team is uber responsive and so easy to work with. In the rare case that there is an issue it is usually solved within an hour of contacting support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our only issue so far is with the Onedrive limitations. We are not able to group our companies into regions so sharing folders with users is not as efficient as it could be. We also have a continuous issue with sharing our Onedrive FloQast folders with our users who do not share the domain that the folders live in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have decentralized accounting for 80+ companies and prior to FloQast were not able to track or review the month end close documentation. Now everything is at our fingertips and tied out to the TB in real time. Total game changer.
Great Product!
What do you like best about the product?
Speaking as an auditor of several clients that use FQ, the system definitely makes our lives easier! The layout is great, and it makes it easy to track and monitor activities. 'PBC' was the cherry on top.
What do you dislike about the product?
N/A - the product meets all of our needs and is better than any other reconciliation/close system I've seen in the past.

The biggest asset with FloQast has been its ability to help us more closely monitor our month-end close checklist and give us easy visibility into what tasks remain open. In addition, the reconciliations are easily trackable and assist with following up with reconciling items.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the demo and actually try it out real quick. You'll see that it's a lot easier to use than others.
MUST have for Month End Closing
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast helped us discovered our month end inefficiencies. We were able to document our processes and have clear knowledge of what the status of month-end was at any given time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I don't like about FloQast. Maybe allowing the hashtag to read merged cells? That's about it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had issues with our timing of responsibilities. FloQast assisted with determining the right course of action on when specific tasks should be done. It has also given us the ability to hold individuals accountable in a very black and white manner.
FloQast Cut close time from 20 days to 10 days
What do you like best about the product?
Streamlined platform that is very user friendly. Houses all reconciliations in one easy spot. Very easy sync with our Intacct ERP system. I love how they continue to put out new products and continue to evolve to help the close management process become even more streamlined.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have had some minor bugs over the last couple months with regards to values showing up on the wrong entities reconciliations. Very minor items and they were resolved quickly however it did involve putting in a request ticket and some of our IT team's time which is not ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We close the books for 11 different entities each month. We also do consolidated statements. It helps us keep all the reconciliations neat and ensure they are done properly. We are also utilizing their permanent folder feature which helps us keep documents in a centralized location. We provide our auditors access which has been helpful to ease the burden of my team providing documents. They are able to pull their own data which is great. You can also restrict access to certain parts of FloQast so they cannot see review notes and internal comments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are on the fence about getting FloQast just take the plunge. Its one of the best tools my team has.

What do you like best about the product?
It keeps our team organized and on track for each month's close, even during busy times of the year. I can easily check who is on time with their tasks and who is behind and can get that member of the team to help with their tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike, however it would be helpful for Intacct to alert you when a new balance sheet account is being used. We have 10 entities we close monthly and sometimes we start to use a balance sheet account on one of those entities and forget to add it in Floqast for a few months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on track with close, but especially doing tasks that happen quarterly or annually like filing reports or submitting tax filings. Those things you tend to forget because you don't do them regularly, and FloQast is especially helpful for those items.

The ease of use and the ability to check things off.

I would say the thing that I dislike are the multiple tabs can be difficult to navigate sometimes.

We use it to check off different close items to make sure we are on track to close the books on time.
