FloQast helps to streamline the financial closure and it's user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Through FloQast, we can assign financial closure tasks and reconciliations within the team while assigning the expected completion dates. Also, it sends reminders when checklist or reconciliation items are due or when any reconciliation has gone out of balance. I like their checklist feature as it helps me to plan my tasks while keeping a proper track of which tasks are due monthly or quarterly and on which date.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like FloQast and there is nothing big to complain about it. However, it would be nice if the balances of the reconciliations get updated more quickly (within a few seconds) as soon as the refresh button is clicked. Also, it would be nice if the balances of the other months also get updated simultaneously once the refresh button of a particular month is clicked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to assign tasks between the team members properly and plan the financial closure properly to complete it more efficiently. Also, we were able to complete financial closure tasks and reconciliations on time without missing or forgetting anything. Further, the review notes option helped us a discuss the financial closure-related issues we have noticed, then and there. It also helps to get some idea on where we stand at the financial closure through the dashboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think FloQast is a great tool to manage and plan financial closure tasks and reconciliations smoothly and on time. It reduces the manual work a lot as well.

I like the use of checklists and ease of sortability sortability

Sometimes the updating of reconciliations can take a while if you are an organization with a lot of entities
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are speeding up our close process and keeping track of day-to-day operations and preclose activities

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use the filters to see what and when items are due. I also like that I can easily change the filters to find the responsible person for items that I may have questions on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some issues uploading files from my cloud service. I have to save them onto my local drive to upload into the FloQast cloud.... weird.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When changes occur and my recon file needs to be updated, it is very easy to see in the dashboard. When items need to be reassigned, it is easy to export into an excel file and review.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast really provides our AR team with a deep understanding of our month end process. With Floqast it really is hard to miss anything. It is also very user friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
In regards to FloQast, there is not much to honestly dislike about the product. The lack of global controls make it difficult to ensure uniformity across multiple entities but I am sure this is something that will be added in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The user interface. It is easy to see the progress of close at a glance, and its easy to navigate around, regardless of your role, to see what you need to do and how on track you are for close. I also really like the sign off features, and the reminder emails, because it holds you and your team accountable.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to see who is assigned which task easily. We have a large team with so many essential tasks and responsibilities and FQ allows us to easily assign tasks to people as well as being able to see which tasks have been completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how long it takes to update reconciliations. I have dozens of reconciliations that I need to update all the time. I wish there were an option to update just one at a time instead of having to wait until every single recon has been updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to assign tasks to a big team and seeing if those tasks are being completed is very important to our team and FQ helps us with that.
Exceptional month end close streamlining.
What do you like best about the product?
All month-end tasks and reconciliations live in one place, as well as the flux analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a semi-monthly frequency option for operational tasks like approving payroll.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The general disorganization of tasks and reconciliations is now a thing of the past, creating greater efficiencies.

FloQast is very user-friendly and helps our company organize client deadlines and tasks PERFECTLY. Not to mention the OUTSTANDING customer service from FQ support team when we have any questions or concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I dislike that I can think of right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transition between team members can easily be transitioned due to FQ and how everything is organized and set up, client by client, task by task. The sign-off feature makes users accountable for their work and meeting deadlines.
Best A/R reconciliation DB ever!! Easy to use!!
What do you like best about the product?
The capability to navigate from one page to another, from our Share drive to FQ. Extremely easy to use, over all!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice to be run completeness reports on multiple companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to see reconciliations at a glance and knowing what's balanced or not. Auto rec is amazing!!

Reminders on Checklist items optimizes the close process. Spreadsheets are 20th century. FloQast is 21st century.

UI for assigned vs all items could use improvement for non daily users
