Great Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use the website. You dont really need a tutorial, although it helps. Everything is laid out pretty wells and self explanatory. It is similar to a different website that I used in a previous job, and Flocast is superior.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few kinks that I wish could be different but thats just related to the industry that I work for. It wouldnt make sense for Flocast to change things because of one company. Overall its great as is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have easy access for our auditors and history of everything that we have ever recorded. We can now easily reconcile our Journal Entries against something.
FloQast has really helped us stay organized & on track for month end close!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the product is easy to use, but I especially love the genuine interest FloQast shows in their clients. We now have a paperless tool to organize all month-end documents and it also let's us know if we've missed a deadline!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't necessarily think of anything that I dislike. The only issues that I sometimes have as an administrator is uploading or setting new things up for companies. The "error" messages aren't intuitive, but it isn't an issue for me personally since the support team responds with assistance promptly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had run out of space to store paper copies of our month-end rec books, in addition, now that we are working remotely we all have instant access to every month that we need electronically. There is never a question of who is responsible for things because we have labeled that within FloQast.
FloQast is ideal for Finance in a working from home environment
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is most helpful in a working from home environment with multiple Accountants working on the close and the ability to share files. It is also extremely helpful in keep track and providing reminders on tasks that need to be completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good if there was a central place to log and save journal entries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to ensure that all journal entries and reconciliations are completed.
Easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use and the way you can easily track the tasks you have left for close and monitor your recon progress. It helps our team easily and quickly follow where the group is to close and monthly charges. The ability to add journal entry support helps the team to keep information upto date. The ease of pulling reports to track status of our monthly items, is very benefial to our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is very little to dislike in FloQast, as the software is contiually improving. During the year our orginization has used it, there have been many helpful improvements. However a few thing I would like to see would be a feature to roll forward recons, even if someone else has uploaded a file. The lack of ability to do this, sometimes causes delays in work on our end. I also think more pop up reminders could be helpful for tasks that are late.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The team at FloQast set us up for success, so problems have been minimal. One of the most significant benefits has been the streamlining for our team by implementing this software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the resources provided to you by the FloQast team, they are so willing to help in any way, and it makes the process much smoother. Adding checklist items is also a beneficial method of keeping accountability among members of the team. Joining FloVerse is also a great way to connect with other professionals and have much-needed 'breaks.'

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very user-friendly and easy to learn. I like that requesting sign offs as well as signing off on prep. The checklist feature is very nice for items that are not reconcilations. I also like that there's a self progress section now. The email reminders are also helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reconciliation section can take a long time to update with current financials. It would be better if this section updated almost instantly. I also think it would be nice to upload files in the system if that doesn't exists already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast provides a timely close tracking progress. This allows our team to see at any given moment what is oustanding for monthly or quarterly close. We can easily see who has what assignments to rethink what can be reassigned.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend FQ if you want to have better insights for monthly close. It is also perfect for SOX controls.

The organization and task completion modules really help to keep track of tasks that have been completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is sometimes a lag between our accounting system and FloQast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are making sure that every task for month end process is complete! The biggest benefit is that we can make sure all items are done!
FloQast has saved my team an immese amount of time
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a fantastic monthly close software that streamlines the month-end process by increasing visibility over the close, storing documentation, locking files, linking balances between NetSuite and FloQast, and sending notifications when items are due or out of balance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet, and we have been using FloQast for over a year! Whenever I have a suggestion, the FloQast implementation/engineering team works to create a solution! The new "ReMind" software is great and sends emails automatically to vendors and collects responses in a specified folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reconciliations, amortization, and depreciation. I now use FloQast every day to check the status of my tasks as well as that of my team. It helps you stay on target and keep on top of your work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
FloQast is great for a company of any size, but the larger you are, the more visibility and control you have over the month-end close process. When employees on the team leave, it is easy to redelegate work and change reviewers/approvers. Due dates and timelines are easily adjusted. There is also a Compliance center that can easily be used to store information that can pulled for audit support.

FloQast has been extremely helpful in monitoring our close process (better visibility) and has helped to shorten our close.

This tool has been great, it would be nice if the refresh function for recon balances worked more quickly.

How it provides clear expectations to our team on when tasks are due and keeps us aware of any issues that may come up during the close.

The weekly task feature is not set up how I would like it to be. I would like to see the dates of the current month not the previous month.

Reducing days off of the monthly close. We're able to see any roadblocks and fix those to streamline our close.

I also love the prepaids/amortization module!

I don't have any further suggestions at this time. This has been an awesome tool for us!

We use FloQast for task reminders throughout the month, as well as a close management software for the monthly close. It helps to keep the teams all aligned, especially as we are all remote.
