Great close software
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is super easy to use and navigate. It organizes everything really well and makes it easy for everyone to use, know where they are at with close process and what is left.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major downside. To be honest it seems to function the way I would like it. Not major issues right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made it so much easier to follow the close process and see where you are at and where the rest of the team is at. It is also nice to have all the review notes compiled in one location.

What do you dislike about the product?
Admin features around assigning tasks/reassigning/adjusting task list are in a different view than we work in, I believe they are working on this though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Locked down account reconciliations. Close management and visualization, including insight into where we see frequent delays both by task and assignee.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand the details of the mapping document upfront. Organize each entity with the same hierarchy.
FloQast is easy to use and has really made our close process significantly more efficient!
What do you like best about the product?
The visual progress graphs are really helpful for us to know how far into the close process we are and how much is left.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything. It's a great software that has made our team very happy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This ensures that we reconcile every single item the same way each month / quarter / year whereas in the past items may have gotten missed.

Closing the books and how FloQast automatically pulls the year end TB balance amount based on the account number

Haven't come across anything which I don't dislike yet

No problems as of now. Month end closing has been faster after using FloQast

Floqast has been a lifesaver for out close process. Our closed checklist used to be a mess of an excel spreadsheet. FQ has made close so much more efficient!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy setup, no integration required, easy SSO and OneDrive integration, simple and clear UI

Nothing to dislike - does exactly what I wanted it to do and they're continuously updating/improving based on user feedback

Close efficiency - finding bottlenecks, re-organizing workflows - since FloQast implementation, we consistently close ahead of our scheduled deadline and we've rebalanced workload amongst team members - easy insights for management on progress and completeness of close
The product is so simple but so powerful.

The implementation process was so simple and quick. You can get the product up and running and then still continue to fill out the fine details.
It creates a great structure for making sure everything get done and our staff love the satisfaction of checking off their tasks.

The only think that could be easier is reorganizing checklist items on the fly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were in a difficult process of implementing a new accounting software system in our organization when we became aware of #FloQast. I don't think we would been able to catch up and get back on track with our monthly close process so quickly without #FloQast.
Nice solution to organizing month-end
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the GL balances pull in automatically from NetSuite (and other systems) to be compared to the reconciliation balances. Seeing the status of all recons and having a way to track progress real-time is great. They keep adding features as well, like the variance analysis tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not a lot to dislike. It’s a pretty easy interface and easy to learn. But I do wish you could download the reconciliation setup templates for all entities at a time rather than one at a time. It would make updating admin details easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that it simplifies comparing recons to the Gl balance and provides a way to see the status of everything by user at a quick glance.
Consistency & Transparency in close process
What do you like best about the product?
Seeing all tasks and their status in one place. Using review notes to email someone when a task they are waiting for has been complete. Visibility into everyone's responsibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been hoping for many months to get customizable tags, so we can tag tasks certain ways based on our specific business. Customizable tasks have just arrived! We haven't had a chance to try them yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistency with the month-end close; transparency into status of the close. More efficient - reduces need to email people back and forth to see status.
Decrease Close Time Significantly
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to house your closing checklist and reconciliations across multiple subsidiaries in one handy interface helped to decrease our close time by 5 days.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue that we have is not having the ability to have dependencies on the checklist items.

Decreasing close time, better disbursement of tasks, and full accountability.
