It works well and is helpful to keep track.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the reconciliation feature the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be cumbersome to change settings sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps get everyone on the same page for where we are at as a team each month end.
I would definitely recommend for larger companies. It is cost prohibitive for smaller companies.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see status of the close real-time and knowing exactly what has been completed vs. what is outstanding. Being able to see if a balance has changed. The QBO integration is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics are insufficient for managing 100+ clients (we are on the CAS side). Wish it had an open API so we could run our own analytics and reporting. It doesn't integrate with Quickbooks Desktop, which we have a lot of clients on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Higher quality and more consistent practices in client month end close processes. Better way to track status and see team progress. More accuracy in balance sheet reconciliations.

Set up checklist and reconciliations templates for your company to use.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to roll from one month to the next. It directly pulls from Quorum so there is not a manual upload or process on my end to start my reconciliations. After I complete my reconciliation workbook (which is my rollforward workbook), all i have to do is refresh the page to clear my out of balance accounts with monthly activity amounts. Also, the process to cross off checklist items is seamless. Once I complete my task, I mark it complete and move on to the next task. I have yet to run into any major issues. I am able to cut down on the time it takes to do my reconciliations every month by hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it pull incorrect amounts for my account balances so I have to contact Courtney Roach to reach out to her contact. However, I am not sure if this is an issue with Quorum or FloQast. I also like there to be a better way that the software emails you about tasks or reconciliations are due. This could be indicating which account is out of balance instead of just sending a generic email saying that something is not done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit on my end is the time it takes to do my reconciliations. This was a painstaking process and now it takes less than ten minutes. As of problems, I am not in a position to know any problems. Everything on my end is great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that they at least hear a demo from your sales team.
Floqast has increased the efficiency of our month-end reconciliation process!
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast provides us with a central checklist for monthly/quarterly/annual tasks for each entity, and it also allows us to control the reconciliations that need to be performed for each entity in an easy and efficient manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changes to be in one entity needs to be replicated one by one for all entities, instead of a mass change for all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We complete all of our month-end processes including reconciliations by Day 10.

Very good customer service, always fast responses and solution oriented. Tool itself is easy to use.

Price is on the upper end of comparable solutions for month end close improvements

Floqast is the best Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
I like floqast how it can be a scheudle and a reminder all in one. There is aot of versatility with this software that i can apply to my day to day work load.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike with the floqast software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits i received would be that i am reminded when i have to complete a certain task. This helps me in a busy day to day environment to keep me in order.

A few minor enhancements haven't happened yet; but I have word that their product development team is working on similar issues (In the past, they have delivered as promised!)

Helps to ensure that every deliverable is accurate & timely and identifies where are the potential roadblocks.

This is a great product also when you are being audited!
Great product + customer service
What do you like best about the product?
The product is very useful to use and has helped with our close process/schedule tremendously. It has helped us become more organized and the customer service is great! The website is very easy to read and extremely user friendly. They really make sure that the team on-boards correctly and are satisfied with the product. Before FloQast, we had a small checklist item but it's nice having separate sign off items for reconciliations and checklist items. Our account manager is always checking in on us and making sure we are up to date on the newest features that they have released.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are hoping to have the flux analysis feature a trending income statement rather than comparing month to month. We have not had any issues with FloQast except our request for having a trending report rather than comparing month to month or quarter to quarter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has helped us manage and organize our month-end process. It's been very helpful to have hard deadlines and reminders as well as being notified when recs are out of balance. It's also a great plus since it connects with NetSuite! They also have lots of templates and information to help better your close schedule and things to possibly implement into your current process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
FloQast is extremely easy to use and the team is super helpful and reachable and want to make sure you are getting everything needed out of their product. They have quick response times and are always willing to set up more sessions to expand your knowledge and utilize FloQast.

How easy it is to navigate from task to task.

Sometimes it glitches when you are trying to complete the assigned task in the system.

It has allowed me to stay on top of my day to day task. I have realized that I can be more efficient on task when I know they are due a few days before.

I enjoy how easy the solution is to use and implement. The system forces you to get organized and it really helps you stay organized and makes the close go much smoother and quicker.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system works well to organize a team, but there are different types of users and we are required to pay full price for every user, no matter their role. It would be nice to have tiered prices based on the types of users in the system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have really synchronized our schedules and simplified and unified processes across our company that make it much easier for our accounting departments to switch between divisions.
