Easy to use, fast, helps avoid last minute crams

Makes Financial Close Easier
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast puts everything I need for month end close, and accounting support in general, in one easy to navigate location. It's not just a checklist, it's a one-stop shop to make your month end close and daily accounting tasks as effective as possible. It's also easy to navigate between accounting periods to do easy comparison, and the roll-forward capability is a huge time-saver. Additionally, now after using Floqast for several years, I have really appreciated the new product offerings. FloQast flux is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a fast-growing organization using the product, our close is always evolving and improving. Since our deadlines for individual tasks are a little flexible and change based on the needs at the time, the related late notices are a little annoying. I wish there was a way to indicate a flexible deadline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because Floqast handles the logistics, tracking, and storage, it has freed up extra time during close that we used to spend just organizing and managing the close itself. I believe with this extra time, it has allowed us to focus on and improve the quality of our work. Also, coming up to our year end audit, Floqast is going to be so helpful to find everything the auditors need, which always took an immense amount of time in the past.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is very helpful, especially if your company currently manages close through internal files and various locations.
An Accountant's Dream
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has completely streamlined our closing process. Not only are they constantly making improvements and updates but they are great to work with. We really appreciate the ability to leave notes and the flexibility in changing preparers, reviewers and all checklists.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't encountered any downsides to using FloQast. We are eagerly awaiting their QBO connectivity to auto import the TB but still find it all to work nicely.There are occasional error messages but overall there are no real headaches when using it (unlike QBO which seems to always have issues).
* Update - FloQast is beginning to roll out their QBO integration and it is awesome! This is a true game changer. The amount of time saved with this feature is so valuable. We are really enjoying it!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously did not have a set closing process. We were using excel to create task lists for individual clients and sharing them, this was messy and inefficient. FloQast has shortened our close time and allowed us to see in a nice UI what is closed and what is still outstanding.

no major concerns seen, sometimes it shows no storage but its not a big deal, just refresh the page and go
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously I had to keep supporting details for JE's in share folder(computer) and sometime its consuming to search files and chances of missing. FloQast made my job easy and keep good track on my accounting related documents likes emails, audit supporting.

I love the easy use of the program and the task lists that are required to be checked off. This helps to not leave anything out.

It has made my work more efficient and being able to identify any differences in balances etc.

Drastic improvements to our close process.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to electronically track signoffs for month-end close procedures along with year-end audit purposes. Additionally, I love the fact that we are notified of changes to account reconciliations when the GL balance changes and causes the variance to change. We have moved from reconciliations taking almost a full month to complete to not only taking 10 days or less.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't currently support future or rollover review notes. Additionally would love the ability to assign flux analysis to individuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manual month-end close and reconciliation process. Drastically improving and shortening month-end procedures. We have moved from reconciliations taking almost a full month to complete to not only taking 10 days or less. We have also created significant efficiencies and become much more effective by being able to speed up the initial (Journal Entry and Review) phase of month end close. Our records are much more up to date, complete and accurate.

What do you like best about the product?
It's the simple interface and assigning tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it to be a bit more robust, not sure what I'm looking for that in particular but seems to handle the basics that I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is helping us with team and employee accountability but more important is that it is helping us realize what is important in terms of workload to be more efficient and see the strengths and weakness of the respective team member.

What do you like best about the product?
I love doing my recons in floqast, its so much easier and it made the close process much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like the daily reminder emails. I also noticed sometimes the recon takes awhile to sync.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like it when we upload a new TB and it tells us right away that the recon is out of balance. Its nice to know which one is out of balance right away.
Month End Accounting Success!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast greatly helped our month end reconciliation and smoothed out the details of our processes. Allowed managers to see where we are at on any given day and provides very fast information of actions that have resulted in GL changes. Has saved a lot of back and forth time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside, which is very minimal, is that emails continue to come showing status after month end has been closed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Decreased stress for staff at month end along with verification that no steps have been missed.

What do you like best about the product?
Floqast has helped my team and I organize our task lists and really has helped better our communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Floqast has been very helpful over the past, however if I would change one thing, I would love to be able to list which items are of high priority.

Communication has been a solve in the past and benefits we receive is an organized way of checking on tasks as well as tracking/assigning tasks.
