FloQast makes the financial close process smooth and easy
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use and implementation was quick. I have used Blackline and FloQast now and FloQast so much more modern and easy to use from the admin and user side. It makes our close proces very straight forward and easy to manage. It integrates very well with Netsuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main compliant is the ability to add in instructions to the task or reconcilation direclty within FloQast. This would help reviewers review or help a backup person complete a task or reconcilation so much easier. This was a feature in blackline that I really liked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage the close process in an automated way. It reduces the number of back and forths with the team and gives a currently snapshot of where we are at with close at any point in time.

Love FloQast!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a great organization tool for month end and day to day workflows. Transitioning into a new software can be a bit of a headache, but the obstacles with learning FloQast were very, very minimal.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to use ReMind more effectively. Maybe I am still confused about how to best use it, but being able to create and save templates more easily would be a huge problem solver for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast helps eliminate some of the chaos during month end close with its simple to follow folder layouts. It is very easy to check what has been completed, what needs to be done, and what is past due.
A Need for Every Accounting Team
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast makes month end close a breeze thanks to their checklist feature and account reconciliations. With this tool in place our team is looking at FloQast every day especially during the close.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is being super nitpicky but if I had one wish it would be for the data refresh between our ERP & FloQast to have less of a lag. While it doesn't normally take a super long time, it would be great if the refresh time was closer to <10-30 seconds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQasts assists in ensuring close tasks are done on time and aids in completing account reconciliations.
FloQast Keeps Us Organized!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is incredibly user-friendly. It is easy to navigate and I have all the progress information I need at my fingertips.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is very picky, but the checklist rows are too wide. I'd like to be able to see more tasks at once and not have to scroll as much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking financial close process for a team of 14.
FloQast import from Sage
What do you like best about the product?
That able to assign tasks and create a checklist for staff to be able to indicate where they are at and communicate that with superviors. The ability to import Excel worksheets, and for FloQast ability to pull Sage Intacct dimension balances in to match the reconciliation of ledgers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how FloQast defaults back a couple years to the when logging in, instead of where I left off in the current month and year I'm working in. This is irrtating to have to continually select the month folder for the current year. It opens up into year 2022, and then I have to select year 2024.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to see when reconciliation balances go out of balance indicating that added journaling has been done and needs to have the ledger and reconciliation updated.
Amazing month end close tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that as a reviewer you review everything in one spot. It makes it quick and easy. It's an amazing organizational tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there is nothing I dislike about FloQast. The only downside is the price tag. But if you can afford it, it's definitely worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are just starting to implement the auto reconcilation tools and we are very excited about that. It makes reconciliations quick and easy and it's all within the same system. It saves a lot of time.
Experience with FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
My team has been very happy with FloQast. it was very easy to implement and they have so many cool add ons. We prefer this one over Blackline. it provides more for the money and much more user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far i have not found anything yet. we like most of what we have seen.

It has automated our reconciliaton process.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the accesibility that FloQast gives. It is very easy to use and the response of the customer support it impecable. I have not found anything that I have not liked. Implementing into FloQast was very easy and quick process. We use FloQast every month for our close processes. I really like how it notifies me if an account goes out of balance. My favorite feature so far is probably the completeness check.

I do not dislike anything about FloQast.

It keeps a clean close calendar with our reconciliations and checklists
Simplifies the close process
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about FloQast is how easy it makes the close process. Before, we had tasks all over the place and it was really hard to keep track of everything that needed to be done. Now we have everything in one place, the dates are clear and in order, and we're able to track where we are in the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly not much. It is one of the best and most useful tools I've used in my accounting career.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has solved several problems for us.
1. Organizing the close process - our process was pretty scattered before and now we have everything in one place with clear dates. It's also very easy to add new tasks when they arise. It saves so much time not having to remember all the tasks that I have to do for each close.
2. Account reconciliations - there wasn't really a good way to do and store these before FloQast. Now that we have a dedicated place for them, they've already come in handy several times by drawing our attention to things that we may have just let slip through the cracks in the past.
3. Variance analysis - again, we didn't really have a good way to do this in the past. FloQast allowed us to put a good process in place, and it's really helpful to have accounts automatically flagged if the variance is over a certain amount.

Great Way to Review Reconciliations
What do you like best about the product?
Everything being in one spot and knowing your monthly progress in a dashboard format are really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The filters need some refinement but are useful tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast got us out of Sharepoint and makes progress easily visible when it comes to finishing accurate and timely recons.
