Reliable tool for managing reconciliations and month-end close efficiently
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has made our reconciliation and month-end close process much more structured and transparent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like to see even deeper automation in matching and reporting in future updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a finance professional, I particularly appreciate how it helps keep track of deliverables, ownership and deadlines across the team. The task checklist and automated reminders reduce follow-ups and the centralized dashboard gives a clear view of what’s pending or completed. In addition to this it helps in following ways.

It's our end all be all for status of reconciliations and it saves time in close.
Great Accounting Tool! Awaiting Jenzabar Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it syncs so easily with other programs like Excel and Quickbooks.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it does not integrate with Jenzabar at the moment. I heard it is in the works. Would love to test it.

Solving the manual entering of data via the syncing process.
Great for Organization, But Uploading and Refreshing Are Slow

Keeps me on track and organized for closing.

Uploading the information to the reconciliations. Refreshing takes a long time.

Reconciliations are easier. Helps accelerate closing time.
Great for Team Coordination, But Can Be Slow to Update

Its easy to keep track of what needs to be done and coordinate with the team easily

Sometimes it takes a long while before the selection updates

In my opinion, the main issue we faced was figuring out how to divide tasks among the team and monitor everyone's responsibilities. Floqast made this process much simpler and more manageable.
Brings Clarity to Tasks and Team Follow-Ups
What do you like best about the product?
Gives clarity on all the tasks and calendar. Also helps follow up with the team (rec notes, comments etc). Easy to upload supporting docs and then have everything available under the same location.

What do you like best about the product?
This platform offers a centralized location that can be tailored to accommodate various task deadlines. Its reconciliation features help ensure that the trial balance from the accounting system matches up accurately with supporting documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I don't update the chart of accounts regularly, I often have to spend some time searching for the right location to make changes. It usually takes me a moment to remember where to go to perform that update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a centralized, cloud-based system that enables seamless access for the parent company, its subsidiaries, and even third-party audit teams.
Streamlined Month-End Closing with FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using FloQast for the past six months primarily for month-end closing and checklist management, which allows us to ensure everything is checked off accurately as per our audit manager's requirements. I particularly enjoy the ease of use of FloQast, which makes the checkoff process straightforward and enables smooth collaboration with our external accounting firm. The software's ability to integrate with our accounting software is highly beneficial, as it allows me to track the status of our closing process, identify bottlenecks, and contact team members who may be lagging behind in their tasks. This feature greatly enhances the efficiency of our closing process and helps prevent delays. Additionally, I appreciate how FloQast supports prepaid reconciliations, which is a new implementation for us this summer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that maybe in the prepaid section, which we have just started using, could be a bit easier, specifically when entering beginning balances that have already been amortized over several months. It would be helpful if we could simply input those initial balances and carry them forward through the amortization period seamlessly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use FloQast to track closing processes and ensure smooth month-end closings. It helps in contacting team members falling behind and identifies bottlenecks, enhancing coordination and efficiency.
All-in-One Solution for Daily and Month-End Tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that it's a one-stop shop for all my tasks, whether they're daily responsibilities or related to month-end close. I use it every single day, and it helps ensure I don't overlook anything. It's also straightforward to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were an out-of-office feature, so that when I return from PTO, I wouldn't have to manually review and mark as done all the tasks that were delegated or skipped during my absence. It would also be helpful to have a way to check multiple tasks at once in these situations, or to skip completion of those tasks.

This platform serves as a comprehensive solution for managing daily tasks, month-end close activities, and tracking as well as storing accounting reconciliations. It brings everything together in one place, making these processes more organized and efficient.
