Sr. Accountant Review - Monthly FloQast Reconciliation User
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast provides an incredibly detailed platform to reconcile and review our company's entire balance sheet across a half-dozen entities. The checklist is a great way to keep tasks organized - and separated by owner - which helps our finance department stay on scheudle as we work toward close.
The account-by-account reconciliatons each month have given leadership more confidence than ever in our financial statement accuracy. Additionally, our 2023 fiscal year audit was very much streamlined by the use of FQ.

What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation process was quite labor-intensive, but that may have been just part of the growth needed on our side of things.
Refreshing data after making changes to supporting documents can, at times, take a few minutes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has essentially forced our company to reconcile our entire balance sheet on a monthly basis, which has significantly reduced the frequency of errors. We no longer have unidentified issues that persist for months at a time.

I love the innovation and new tools coming.

AI tool seems promising but seems to need improvement before finished.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to quickly reconcile lead sheets to GL balances.
Organization solution to our close process and balance sheet reconciliations
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast provides us with a centralized location to track the progress of our monthly close process as well as housing our balance sheet reconciliations. It's helpful and efficient to have everything living in one place with formal signoffs and reviews. It also allows upper management to easily get a pulse on our status.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing significant about Floqast that I dislike. If anything, sometimes it takes a good bit of clicks to make updates. Also, it automatically signs you out after 4 hours even when actively using it (i.e. not based on 4 hours of inactivity).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It streamlines our close and B/S reconcilation process. With having formal signoffs for each reconcilation/task, it makes it easy to know exactly where we stand. Also, having a direct hyperlink to the B/S reconciliations simplifies the review process.
Using FloQast for Month end and Account Reconciliations.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to fliter what needs to be done during a busy momment. It was very easy to learn and implament after a few meetings going through the working of the website during its introductiuon. When we have had issues we were always able to reach out for help and guidence. Alos, being able to see what accounts need to be reconciled made the final days for close easy. I enjoy being able to log in through out the day to keep track of whats going on.
What do you dislike about the product?
When refreshing folders after uploading it can take up to 30 minuets to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping to keep tarck of what needs to be done and what has been done and when. Also it is helping with reconciliations of accounts and if any need updated.
Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the user-friendly organization that FloQast has brought to our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints. FloQast works exaclty as I was told in sales calls and has continued to add great features since then.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem FloQast solved when we purchased the application was bringing organization and analytics to our monthly close process. However, the reconcilation feature has become one of my favorite features.

Floqast has help me and my team to consolidate all tasks and recons into one place. Plataform is easy to use, eay to implement, great visibility, and accountability.

I think the variance report for fluxes can be improve.

It helps to consolidate all task and recon to have visibility and accountability.
Compliance and Process Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have a single source of record across compliance and accounting procedures along with the ability to identify gaps or issues. The customer support has been amazing from the beginning and even after implementation we are contacted to see how things could be improved.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be beneficial if the modules were more integrated so that controls could be added to processes without admin access or having to have accounts in multiple modules. It would also be nice to have a platform wide checklist of items that are in my que to limit the amount of time switching between modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a user primarily in the compliance module, FQ helps me have better communication with the accounting team as we conduct control testing and work towards compliance with various regulations.
Great Process
What do you like best about the product?
It provides me comfort that we have all the reconciliations in for all balance sheet accounts.

Fixed Asset module is very nice but needs enhanced to be able to handle some of the wyas that businesses operate.

A useful solution for month-end close and SOX testing
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is easy to use and serves as our one-stop-shop for month-end close. We use it every day and there have never been any outages. Support is always open to suggestions for new features, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some small bugs that we have had to reach out to support for help fixing, but they always react quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating a timeline with a task list, streamlining reviews, and providing an overarching status dashboard for all to see the progress of close.
When they say "Ease of Implementation", they really mean it.
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast makes the month-end tasks and reconciliations so easy to manage and track. The Floqast team is always looking for improvements and enhancements; and is always looking to guidance and feedback from the users.
What do you dislike about the product?
We'd like to add more users for routing/review/approval but these users would only have 1-2 tasks so the user cost doesn't support the usage. Would like to see another user level at a lower price point
