Excellent Platform for all Accounting needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like that reconcillations can all be placed into one platform. Easy access for review across all team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently does not work automatically with our ERP EPicor system but other than that works well!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast has helped my team keep up to date on all tasks. Ensuring we are not only checking off things but reviewing they are completed. As well as a centralized platfrom to upload completed reconciliations.

Good Customer Partnership & Ease of Use
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is very intuitive and easy to setup. There is a lot of articles and videos in the help center to guide you on any questions you have. Our Accounting Success Manager is quick to respond and help with any questions I have. I've also connected with Support on a few things and they are always quick to get back to me. I like the fact that the product is easy to use and one spot for all items for close.
What do you dislike about the product?
In general I don't have a lot of negative feedback, most of the problems we've had are from user error and not understanding that the software's capability. Each time we've had questions our account manager has shown us a better way of doing things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast allows us to keep on track with close each month and ensure that we haven't missed any close items. It allows our team to have everything in one spot, where we can quickly look to know where we are in the close process.
Easy and Fast Implementation with Quick Return
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is very easy to use since it uses what you are already familiar with in spreadsheets to help reconcile your accounts. It takes very little time to be up and running on the software and because it's easily customizable to your needs, you fine tune it as you go. One of the biggest benefits is knowing that things are tied-out and reconciled and that you have a central location for all of your close management, audit, reporting, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the biggest challenge for FloQast is getting to know the terminology that is used. There are both reconciliation items and checklist items and then multiple entities and workflows. It can get a bit confusing as to what you are trying to do when you work for one company but need multiple entities if you want to track items outside the close related to operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest issues that we faced prior to implementing FloQast was no knowing where everything was. It was a constant struggle to find the support for each item and make sure you had the latest version. FloQast makes it very easy to bring all that into one repository and then roll that from one month to the next.
Excellent way to manage the work of a team
What do you like best about the product?
The close checklist is easily updated as needs change. Reconciliation variances are extremely helpful — especially when a user posts a transaction *after* the reconciliation is submitted.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup can be daunting but ultimately is worth it in the end. Care must be taken to properly configure the software to your needs, or else it is not very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking monthly, quarterly, and annual close checklist progress and timeliness. Tracking and performing balance sheet account reconciliations. Providing appropriate evidence for financial and control auditors.
Easy interface, great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
The excellent customer service recieved for questions and getting anything setup or added.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I can think of is that I cannot filter by items that I need to complete vs. review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have helped me create an aquisition and tax workflow to ensure we have these processes in a place where they can be tracked to meet deadlines and have the steps covered.
Best Close Software
What do you like best about the product?
Helps the entire accounting team stay on track and have insight to our close.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything about FloQast, we havent encountered any dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep the entire accounting team on track as well it gives us insight on the month end progress.
Simple yet Effective
What do you like best about the product?
The UI in FloQast made the adaption process incredibly smooth, allowing our team to learn and start using FloQast to it's full potential within our month end process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of is the waterfall/autorec option that we don't utilize much. But I think this falls more under a personal preference issue, plus the fact our schedules don't require as much as the tool offers

FloQast allows us to do our reconciliations more effectively and allows us to identify potential issues or variances faster than a typical close would allow. It also keeps your balances updated in real time and notifies you when something has changed, which could otherwise go unnoticed

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing is the check list feature. They have a quick view button to see what is due today and if you are late on something Floquest will even send you an follow up email. The best!
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes I have hard time finding a task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it's easy to collaborate on a task. You can assign everyone to the task and see when they finished their part. you can also send them a message from inside the product.
Floqast is a great platform to help streamline month close process
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast has allowed our finance team to have a one spot location to manage and track our monthly close process and get real time progress on lead time to completion. Whenever there are issues, the team is so quick to respond and find a solution which is just amazing to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few funtionalites of Floqast that are not user friendly such as not a great way to upload recons in the complicated folder view. The auto rec tool is also a great resource but I'd like to see it to be used for non recon accounts. As it stands now, we have to assign it to a specific balance sheet account and make it monthly etc. If we want to auto rec recon something as a one time excercise, it's not available to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of the close and having a clear expectation of who does what and when is extreemly useful for us. It makes it easier for us to prioritize and know where we stand at any point in time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously we had our close checklist and our rec checklist in Excel. We had to manually update each time a task was complete. Now, with FloQast, it's easier to mark tasks complete.
