Experience with FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
My team has been very happy with FloQast. it was very easy to implement and they have so many cool add ons. We prefer this one over Blackline. it provides more for the money and much more user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far i have not found anything yet. we like most of what we have seen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has automated our reconciliaton process.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the accesibility that FloQast gives. It is very easy to use and the response of the customer support it impecable. Implementing into FloQast was very easy and quick process. We use FloQast every month for our close processes. I really like how it notifies me if an account goes out of balance. My favorite feature so far is probably the completeness check. We are currently building on our functions that we have available in FloQast and looking for new ways to use FloQast in our day-to-day processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything about FloQast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps a clean close calendar with our reconciliations and checklists
Simplifies the close process
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about FloQast is how easy it makes the close process. Before, we had tasks all over the place and it was really hard to keep track of everything that needed to be done. Now we have everything in one place, the dates are clear and in order, and we're able to track where we are in the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly not much. It is one of the best and most useful tools I've used in my accounting career.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has solved several problems for us.
1. Organizing the close process - our process was pretty scattered before and now we have everything in one place with clear dates. It's also very easy to add new tasks when they arise. It saves so much time not having to remember all the tasks that I have to do for each close.
2. Account reconciliations - there wasn't really a good way to do and store these before FloQast. Now that we have a dedicated place for them, they've already come in handy several times by drawing our attention to things that we may have just let slip through the cracks in the past.
3. Variance analysis - again, we didn't really have a good way to do this in the past. FloQast allowed us to put a good process in place, and it's really helpful to have accounts automatically flagged if the variance is over a certain amount.

Great Way to Review Reconciliations
What do you like best about the product?
Everything being in one spot and knowing your monthly progress in a dashboard format are really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The filters need some refinement but are useful tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast got us out of Sharepoint and makes progress easily visible when it comes to finishing accurate and timely recons.

FloQast provided the visibility to account reconciliations that was significantly lacking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more reporting features to be added and exports of data/signoff's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing visibility into close and account reconciliations. We have a central repository now for account reconciliations. There is no more guessing what the status of account reconcilations are at any given point in the month.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of! It delivered all our requirements and benefits included in our business plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything I mentioned on what I like about floqast. Plus easy to onboard new entities as we acquire them and integrate them into our processes and standards of accounting
This tool is good at helping accountants keep track of all their month end responsibilities.
What do you like best about the product?
Very clean layout, easy to read and keep track of all your to do lists, month end processes, and balance sheet reconciliations.
What do you dislike about the product?
at times, ending balances do not seem to sync timely with your ERP system

Staying organized and helping to stay focused on meeting deadlines for month end purposes
FQ Makes for an Easier Close
What do you like best about the product?
In addition to having a great dashboard view of the overall progress for close, FQ generally makes it easy to track the status of individual tasks. This ensures necessary recurring tasks are being completed timely, in addition to meeting SOX compliance requirements
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are syncing errors with the reconciliations, which cause email notifications that the reconciliation is out of balance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're benefitting from SOX compliance and general status tracking with monthly close. We also use some of the reconciliation features, such as the linked tagging which shows the variance between our reconciliation file and the actual ledger balance.
Make Close Your Best Friend!
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that all my tasks are generated for me monthly and that I receive email notifications when items are becoming due. using the # system for close recs makes organization easy to handle. I also enjoy how easy it is to comment on items I've completed with a link to my files to keep organization clear. I use FloQast almost every day!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I currently get a notification every single time that a rec goes out of balance. This may be configurable in settings but sometimes I feel I'm over notified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast solves our organizational issues we deal with daily. We are able to keep our files separated and easily accesible in multiple different places. It also makes it very clear where we have variances that we wouldn't be able to see otherwise.
Increased comfort and visibility of the close
What do you like best about the product?
I have implemented floqast at multiple companies, due to the speed at which you can get the product up and running and also its seamless integration with Netsuite. The platform itself is ituitive and user friendly so it is easy for new team members to pick up, even without the training that Floqast offers.
As a reviewer of the financials I love that floqast issues alerts when reconciliations are ready for review and also when reconciliations fall out of balance post review, giving me increased comfort over the accuracy of our close. The analytics tab gives a great insight into any bottlenecks in the close and also allows visibility into distriubution of work load amongst the team.

Nothing at this time - Floqast actively seeks feedback from users and regulary updates the software to introduce new features to improve the product. Two of our suggestions were implemented so the team really are acting feedback.

Floqast is ensuring that all our balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and reviewed.
