FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
It can easily track tasks. User Friendly. It has the ability streamline the closing process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having hard time to communicate tasks to other team member.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very useful in reconciling accounts. It shows balances and variances vs on the integrated accounting software.

FloQast has streamlined so much!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast keeps us on track with where we need to be, what still needs to be reviewed, makes sure we don't skip a step. The autorec features have saved us a significant amount of time during the tight close. FloQast's support team has remained engaged through every step of the integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our most time-consuming reconciliations seem to be too complex for FloQast at this time. This was not anticipated when we implemented FloQast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most importantly, FloQast has helped us to meet our close deadline. This is very important throughout the company.
FloQast simplified our close process and helped us to stay organized and on track!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to see where we're at in a glance, add new recurring or one-time checklist items, update reconciliations, almost anything. Maintaining a close checklist in excel is fraught with errors, version control, rollforwards, etc. FloQast gets rid of all these issues and provides a dashboard with an overview of the close status. We also use it for recurring weekly and bi-weekly tasks, such as cash flow forecasting, payroll entries, and expense reimbursements.
FloQaqst ReMind has helped us to eliminate mass emails - we set up recurring emails to remind people to submit expense reports, request information around incentive-based comp from owners, and reach out to our lenders for supporting documentation. It saves so much time!
FloQast took us less than 6 weeks to implement and the process was simple. The tool integrates well with Sage Intacct, our ERP, and gives us real-time results of JEs simply by hitting the refresh button.
The best thing about FloQast, though, is the customer support. I have never encountered another vendor so eager and willing to help. The tool in constantly evolving and my success manager always keeps me updated. They also love hearing about new use cases, so when I tell them I want to leverage a function for something different, they get excited!
It's a great tool and a fantastic company - you can't go wrong with them!

What do you dislike about the product?
I found the stub periods cumbersome to use relative to the rest of my experience. You have to get support to re-upload the TBs rather than being able to refresh on your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing manual efforts, making us aware of variances in a timely manner, and keeping us on track in the midst of audit, acquisitions, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for the whole team. That was ease of Integration for the team and track the status of the task for each department.

That was time consuming to integrate to team

Now it's easy to see responsible person
An organized and systematic month-end close
What do you like best about the product?
FQ keeps our team organized and prioritized with ease! We were able to take a full day off close immediately upon implementation, and we continue to see efficiencies the longer we use it. It is super easy to reassign tasks to different team members and to reshuffle tasks as needed. We also really like the Notes feature as a way of tracking open items and documenting for our audit. The best part of using FQ is that we are immediately alerted when an account falls out of reconciliation so that we can correct it before we close the GL.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - we love it! I cannot think of anything that I would change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FQ requires us to have reconciliations for every balance sheet account - the Completeness feature keeps us in check. We also love the audit trail that we have for every account in FQ.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything FloQast does is intuitive to the process you'd think it should follow. I use it daily and monthly to track tasks and reconciliations with ease!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I'd improve about FloQast is the due dating feature. Each month end changes so much, I need to spend time to check due dates.

Automated reconciliation is so necessary, and incredibly efficient.

Minor issue with the formatting, resolved by view changes.

Measuring a closing process
What do you like best about the product?
I do like the fact that you can set multiple flows in the app, to monitore the monthle closing of your organization. In addition, you have everything that you need to show the existance of intenal controls in a single tools. Which help you in the wholw audit process, even if that refering to intenal or external ussers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that there is no way from the app to join in a combinated view the analis from the diferent flows. This limits the view that users like the Controller or the Financial oficers, can have in organization that has multiple segments o rflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Measuring the results, and identify parts of the flow that need to be improved.
Floqast: Simple & Effective
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is extremely easy and simple to use; while being highly effective. The checklist and reconciliation tools have been a game changer for moving forward our close, in terms of team collaboration, automation of the responsibilities, and holding each other accountable to move through the close process. The variance analysis has also helped tremendously in pulling our accounting function out of just reconciling and into understanding; and the FQ variance analysis reports automatically update each month which means there is no admin work to build monthly. FQ is extremely reliable and never ever has admin issues. It is easy to use and you can learn to become an expert in hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing is expensive and adding more users means potentially significant incremental costs. The checklist, reconciliation and variance analysis are fairly straight forward and despite how reliable and effective these tools are, the cost feels high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating roll forward of the checklist and variance analysis. Holding individuals accountable. Completeness and accuracy of steps and reconciled accounts globally.
1 year using FloQast!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has been very helpful for organization. Prior to implementing, all of our checklists and reconciliations were in spreadsheets that were sometimes messy or overlooked. FloQast has helped us to be more aware of close deadlines, keeping our files and reconciliations in an easy to find location, and knowing what things we need to improve on. It also helps us better document and be aware of account balances period to period to help prepare for a smoother audit. When we have questions, their support team is quick to respond. When we have provided product feedback, their team members have provided solutions or taken notes to provide to the prduct team for consideration.
What do you dislike about the product?
One main thing that we've mentioned to our FQ Accounting Success Manager is that we'd like to see our checklist and associated reconciliations connected to each other for easier visibility/reminders to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing clearer due dates, assignments, and reconciliations. This is helping us have a more efficient and transparent close, as well as being more aware of account balances period to period.
