FloQast Streamlines Month-End Close with Intuitive Automation and Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about FloQast is how it centralizes and automates the month-end close process. The checklists, task tracking, and automated reconciliations make it easy to see exactly where we are in the close at any time. It’s intuitive, collaborative, and eliminates the chaos of managing the close through spreadsheets and emails. The visibility it gives our leadership team is a huge bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
While FloQast is an excellent tool overall, the initial setup and integration process can be time-consuming, especially for larger or more complex accounting environments. Customizing workflows to fit unique internal processes sometimes requires extra support from their implementation team. Additionally, certain reporting or analytics features could be more flexible for deeper insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast solves one of the biggest challenges in accounting — managing an efficient, accurate, and transparent month-end close. Before using FloQast, our team relied heavily on spreadsheets, email chains, and manual checklists, which often led to version control issues and missed deadlines. FloQast centralizes the entire close process, automates reconciliations, and provides real-time visibility into task progress.
As a result, we’ve shortened our close timeline, improved accountability, and gained better insight into where bottlenecks occur. It has also enhanced collaboration across the accounting team and given leadership greater confidence in our financial accuracy.

Great Experience with Minor Sync Delays
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast provides excellent visibility into the close process, allowing us to easily monitor completed tasks, outstanding items, and those that still need review. This level of transparency keeps our team well-coordinated and consistently saves us valuable time each month.Personally use it for reconciliations and save me a lot of time. The implementation process was smooth and well-structured.The FloQast support team is excellent — responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive. Whenever we’ve had questions or minor sync issues, they’ve been resolved quickly and professionally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, there are small sync delays with Sungard, but they are minor issues

Reconciliation visibility and delays.
FloQast Speeds Up Closing, But Navigation Could Be Clearer
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast visualizes all the tasks I need to do. We use it to close our accounting periods, and has really helped expedite our process.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may be just how we configured ours, but I feel like there are too many different pages. The navigation is a bit confusing, especially when the names of the pages don't seem to mean anything to me (e.g. Folders, Checklists, etc.). In my experience, I use Folders as an effective checklist far more than I use the actual Checklist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are so many aspects of closing accounting periods, and it's hard to keep track of what should be prioritized. FloQast really helps visualize not only what needs to be done, but what needs to be done first.
Floqast Streamlines Month-End Close
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Floqast simplifies the process of managing rollforwards, reconciliations, and checklist items during our month-end close. It makes the entire workflow much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more features that allow for the automatic summarization of historical flux explanations. This would make it much easier to quickly compile information for our quarterly board reports, both at the individual financial statement line item level and in a more condensed, summarized format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast has been instrumental in reducing the amount of time we need to close our books.
FloQast Simplifies Payroll Tasks After Initial Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I was a bit overwhelmed when given my initial tour of FloQast but now, after using it for a few months, I've found that it's a great way to track the many, many tasks required of my busy payroll position. We've had a couple of issues that involved Trial Balances not loading but our IT department took care of that issue. I love that I can upload the corresponding documents for Journal Entries and Reconciliations. It puts everything at the tip of my reviewer's finger! I use it more towards the end of the month as that's when most of my tasks can be completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a bit to get used to the navigation but once I knew where to look for things I was good to go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe that my employer was using either Excel or another system to track tasks and FloQast has been a significant upgrade for the team. It's so easy to mark items as complete and upload corresponding documents!
Efficient Reconciliation, But Task Updates Need Streamlining
What do you like best about the product?
reconciliation of bank account as well as other balance sheet items have made the task so much efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only limitation I’ve found with FloQast is that when we need to change the deadline for a specific task across multiple subsidiaries, we have to update each one manually. It would be much more efficient if we could adjust the deadline for that task across all subsidiaries at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast is helping us to shorten our month end closing time.
All-in-One Organization, But Sync Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Everything can be kept in one place and easily sortable/filterable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sync messed some things up. Integration was not 100% smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The checklist and reconciliations are extremely helpful. You know your deadlines and others like the reviewers. The rec page shows an actual rec that updates every so often without even needing to open the document.

Great for Audit Trails and Task Management, Dashboard Could Be More Flexible
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is excellent for demonstrating review sign-off to auditors. It also makes it simple to share work progress with others, and adding new tasks is straightforward. I also like the fact that many things are self-explanatory and it does not require trainings to learn about the product
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the dashboard to provide an overview or progress tracking for a filtered group of people. While it's simple to view progress across the entire department, this setup doesn't work well for monitoring my team's or my own progress. Additionally, I wish there was an option to attach supporting documents, such as analyses, to all sign-offs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has significantly reduced the number of confirmation emails required to demonstrate the review process for financial audits. By removing the need to draft emails, it saves time when searching for evidence of reviews. Additionally, it has replaced the manual Excel tracker that previously had to be updated each period. This has also cut down on unnecessary communications with other teams regarding status updates.
