Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that in one file I can upload multiple reconciliations (if I respect the file size), and that FloQast easily identify them as long as I use the correct #.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer not to have to add a comment to every task completed on working on my month-end checklist, as some of those tasks are pretty self-explanatory and do not require documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, I have not had any issues related to FloQast. I am being benefitted by having a trust worthy schedule of what I need to get completed and when I need to get that completed.
Top notch financial close system
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast is the perfect system to help automate financial close workflows. It integrates with Intacct and is a big reason why as an organization we have thrived in a remote world.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had some difficulty with the Flux Analysis working correctly, but that has more to do with the complexity of our Sage Intacct environment and how we are utilizing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating the reconciliation process and
My experience with Floqast has been extremely good.
What do you like best about the product?
It provides a complete dashboard of activities which are completed and the areas where I need to focus more in terms of timing and accuracy of reconciliations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing worth mentioning here. It is really helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to see the pendency of period closure activities at any point of time.
FloQast - Simple but scalable Financial Close Software
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast excels in what accountants and others need at this time-- User simplicity. By keeping reconciliations, checklists, and month-end close simple but efficient with whatever ERP you use for your financials.
What do you dislike about the product?
User management for security has to be done within FloQast, with no disabling security through SSO (IE Okta). Not a huge item, but something to note.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps centralize and track close processes, by assigning users, maintaining checklists, and ensuring that reconciliations are built to keep accounts clean and visible.
FloQast Review
What do you like best about the product?
It's an excellent tool for keeping tasks and due dates organized. I like the spaced-out rows detailing each assignment and the sign-off button; it's visually pleasing and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would consider myself a basic user of this tool, and it functions to keep my tasks organized. I have not encountered any feature or lack of capability that made me dislike FloQast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is helping the entire Accounting/Finance team stay organized with the numerous tasks that must be completed by a specific date. It also gives the team complete visibility as some tasks have dependencies, meaning once one person completes a particular task, another person can start their portion of the related task. It informs the team of overall progress, especially for accounting close-related items.
Simple, Strong, Effective
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has made it easy and simple to close the keep the closing of book on track. We now have the confidence that no minor detail will be forgoten in some months, and that the whole team can work together efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system can be quite rigid and slow somethimes. I think this is because of how powerful it is. But I must say, there are many was to navigate around and not get lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective Team colaboration is a big issue that FloQast has highly improved on. Additionally, it gives assurance that no part of the closing has been left behind.
An all-in-one platform that makes month-end closing easy
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast provides an all-in-one platform to make the month-end closing smooth and easy. The procedure is repeatable, the documentation is well organized and takes least effort to accomplish, and the progress is easily trackable. The ReMind App is a plus in streamlining monthly reminders on repeated tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ReMind App can be improved to include multiple number and types of attachments, and also allow customized setting of reminder date and frequency. Currently, only 4 message modes are available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast sets up a structured closing process, organizing all accounts into folders and a checklist and allowing different people to work on their accounts while still providing an overview of the process. Communication between people is also simplified with notes. Automatic reminders also enable people to track their progress and be warned about any changes.
Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Automation with the capability of syncing from the ERP.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you accidentally generate flux reports, it will email everyone about it.

World-class support from beginning to end!
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is so user-friendly and intuitive, and gives me complete control and easy visibility into the status of each of our key accounts, both on a granular level, and on a detailed level. The team has been able to quickly adapt to this new platform, thanks in part largely I think to how easy it is to use. I have to say - the customer service from beginning to end was world-class, and largely contributed to a) us signing up for the platform, and b) our continued success. Tom Coldman was excellent from a sales perspective, as he was my first line of contact, always readily available and eager to help and provide me with key information to make my decision. The onboarding team, led by Karen Rosenbaum, was truly stellar, Karen got our team up to speed quickly and was instrumental in the success of our implementation. Finally, Brittany Shaw and Trevor Gonzalez continue to help us every step of the way, always able to get us the answers we need in the turnaround time that we need it. The whole team was super friendly, engaging, and truly a pleasure to work with. Thank you Floqast!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced any downsides, in my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a new company, when I came onboard a large part of the finance function was outsourced, and one of my major objectives was to obtain control over that process. I wanted to standardize the process and make it as fit-for-growth as possible, and Floqast was the perfect solution to enable me to achieve these goals. The easy ability as an admin to add new accounts, new recs, new tasks, and new areas as a growing company, as well as to roll-forward tasks month to month or quarter to quarter, de-risks the whole process and enables us to close faster than ever.
FloQast Review
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy reviewing recs is since they are all in one place (OneDrive). Additionally, when recs go out of balance, we are immediately notified and can take action real-time. Further, I can easily see what recs are complete/outstanding all in one place; filter by assignees; follow up with individuals, etc. Prior to FloQast, we had an extremely manual process so having everything in one spot has been a real time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't taken advantage of the robust offerings FloQast has (we currently only use the tool for "Financial Close" and only utilize Checklists and Reconciliations), and I have no dislikes in that area. The only thing to complain about is our audit fees went up once we put FloQast in use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are very easily able to track our close process via checklists and the reconciliations dashboard allows us to track the status post-close. Once all recs are final, I can export one list of all accounts rather than our old way of exporting 40ish different subsidiary NetSuite balance sheets and manually initialing. When a rec is out of balance, we can quickly take action since we are notified via email. Often using the manual process, when balances would change, it wouldn't be realized until our auditors selected the rec for sampling. Further, we take advantage of the Completeness function to ensure any new accounts are captured (our Auditors love this one). FloQast has streamlined and automated our close process in so many ways.
