Accounting Manager
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to get an accurate of tasks and checklist. It is also love easy it is to upload changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't have any at the moment, what I felt was lacking has already been addressed and updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication amongst the team and getting accurate view of where we are for close.
Streamlined close and reconciliation process
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to use, and it is easy to get an overview of what needs to be accomplished. The filters also make it easier to narrow down what you are looking for. Implementation was easy for our company, and we felt supported along the way. The reconciliations being housed in Excel (where we normally work anyways) has made our reconciliation process so much smoother, and reduced down our close from 10 to 8 days. FloQast also continues to provide support after implementation, and will follow up quarterly to review what is working/vs not, and provide extra info on how to improve our experience. I wish we had switched over from Blackline sooner! They also continously update their features, which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we were able to have a setting where files are opened in the Excel Desktop application when we click on the reconciliation links, rather than the online one-drive browser. While we can acecss them directly in our one drive, sometimes it's easier to click on the link in the reconciliation instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all tasks in one place, and ability to roll forward the tasks each month. It has streamlined the process and made it easier to view how far along the close we are.
Absolutely LOVE it!
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Floqast for the autorec bulk matching! it makes reconciling accounts so much easier when you can see multiple items at a time as well as the descriptions that carry over from our GL! The customer service is amazing with us having an implementation associate who meets with us on a quarterly basis for any projects or concerns we have and is always on top of any updates being offered with Floqast. I use this software every day with check list items so I dont have to remember everything on a particular day and have linked it with my Microsoft teams so it will notify me at the end of the day if I forgot to check some things off it will ask me if I forgot something. The Remind feature is such a life saver. It assists with our audits as well allowing our auditors to access the attachments and time the items had been checked off for their historical checks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have much for a downside, but use caution with the auto matching because it can sometimes catch two completely different items and match them together it still saves us so much time by cutting down our work from about 6 hours a day reconciling to almost 2 allowing for more time to work on general projects. With good attention to detail the reconciling issues are easy to catch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is assisting us with our Financial Close process as well as reconciliations and saves us a load of time manually making reports with our previous software. It is also allowing for our monthly analysis to be made with so much more ease.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flow of floqast, it's easy to naviagate. If you have an issue with updating they are quick to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many downsides, other than not updating all the time.

Helps keeps things organized when it comes to closing our month end, and keeping everyone in the loop of what is going on.
FloQast is highly recommended for my mid to smaller size company colleagues

Tool is easy to implement and easy to use. Has a lot of flexibility to keep your accounting/finance tasks in order

Sometimes there is a lack of audit trail

Provides monthly checklist and flux analysis. Financial numbers are almost instant as it's connected to Netsuite.
Floqast changed my close life
What do you like best about the product?
It effectively organizes checklist and reconciliation items in order to help me and my team CRUSH close. Great ease of integration with netsuite and we use monthly. Great customer support as well, as well as ease of implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Its fantastic. I love this product.

Closing checklist items and reconciliation ease of creation and review.
FloQast was a real game changer for our MEC
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast helps our team structure our work and spot any potential blockers at an early stage.
Reconciliation of GL accounts is much easier and more transparent since we use FloQast.
Accuracy of our monthly numbers improved and increased my comfort as a manager that we are reporting correct numbers supported by a proper backup.

It took us some time to incorporate FloQast into our routines, but it was worth the effort.

Ability to track status of projects including close and run analysis allowing visibility into areas for improvement or to highlight where you are doing good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to add for this, love floqast and think it is a great tool!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of a close checklist, enabling us to be able to have visibility on a task level where things are at, who is responsible, and timing of this. Further we have leveraged it for overall flow management of payroll, of audit PBC's to ensure that are able to track progress and assign to respective team members from a PM perspective. Additionally we use it for reconciliations, and it helps us leverage excel vs having to utilize an entire new platform and system for our reconciliations.

I honestly can't think of anything right now....maybe that it doesn't do the work for me :)
