What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate FloQast's seamless integration with our ERP system and OneDrive, making it exceptionally user-friendly and easy to set up. The software's ability to pull GL balances and tie them easily to Excel sheets greatly enhances our account reconciliation process's accuracy and completeness. FloQast effectively aids in solving the month-end close challenges, particularly helpful for our large team, as it provides insight into everyone's progress, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and swiftly. I also like how FloQast is constantly evolving, always adding new features and modules, which expand its usability and make it a desirable tool for month-end closes and other accounting-related tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would probably change the pricing model, making a more transparent pricing model that's not so dependent on the number of users. This would make it easier to implement for teams of all sizes. Additionally, just knowing what the prices are upfront without having to go through a salesperson would make it much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use FloQast to streamline our month-end close process, enabling team coordination and efficient account reconciliations, significantly speeding up the closing process.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate FloQast for its seamless setup process, which requires minimal effort and is supported by extensive documentation and training guides. I love how user-friendly it is, making it easy to learn and use compared to other month-end close systems. The software significantly aids in tracking our month-end process, providing clarity on our progress and highlighting potential delays, which is invaluable for project management. The notes capability is a standout feature, serving as an excellent communication tool between preparers and reviewers by sending notifications through emails or Microsoft Teams. Additionally, I find the integration with Microsoft Word and VIZIO extremely useful for editing process documentation directly within FloQast. The ability to assign due dates with clear responsibilities for preparers and reviewers further enhances our workflow efficiency. The integration with Sage Intact, which allows us to pull in GL balances, is another key benefit that supports our financial management and reporting processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the search functionality somewhat problematic because it can be clunky and often requires using multiple filters to find what I need.

FloQast streamlines tracking our month-end close process, providing detailed insights on progress and delays. It enhances communication with its notes feature, improving coordination with email and Teams notifications. Housing process documentation in FloQast aids efficient project management and integration with Microsoft tools.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that FloQast provides a transparent, audit-ready platform for managing finance and capital markets activities, ensuring there are no gaps in our processes. It serves as a central hub for final versions of documents, helping to avoid version control errors, which is critical for accuracy and compliance. The user interface is easy to navigate, even when toggling between different entities, which helps simplify otherwise complex processes. Additionally, FloQast streamlines month-end activity summaries and allows other finance employees to autonomously access necessary details, reducing my workload. Assigning tasks to specific team users also enhances collaboration and workflow efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find entry-level upload speeds quite slow, which is annoying when dealing with many uploads of large file size.

Effortless Month-End Close and Reconciliation Tracking with FQ

What do you like best about the product?
I like how we can track where we're at with our month-end close using the checklist. I also like how FQ helps us track and complete our reconciliations. The fact that it compares our support file directly to our GL right in FQ is a nice feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest complaint is the time it takes for things to load. For example, when I submit my reconciliation files, it takes quite a long time for FQ to refresh. It's hard to be productive during this time because there really isn't enough time to go do something else, but also, it takes long enough that i feel like I'm waiting too long and wasting time. Please work on site optimization somehow so that things will go faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us a bird's eye view of where we stand in our month end close. It lets me know what i need to do next and keeps me on track to meet my deadlines.

I appreciate how FloQast eases the month-end close process by being user-friendly and easy to set up. The software's capability for automatic reconciliations and sign-offs is particularly valuable as it eliminates the need for manual tasks, saving us significant time during close periods. I also love the easy visibility into close deadlines, which enhances our team's efficiency by allowing us to track the completion status of other teams' tasks without direct communication. Additionally, its compatibility with Oracle aids in our variance analysis by updating the trial balance, further streamlining our tasks. Great for Accountability and Storage, But Needs Smoother Bulk Actions

What do you like best about the product?
I use FloQast every day and really appreciate its storage features, as well as how it encourages accountability by assigning tasks to individuals. I also value that it acts as a sort of playbook for managing a client's work. If a quick transition were needed, anyone new to the role would find it much easier to understand the client's requirements. On the rare occasions I've needed support, the assistance has been prompt and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little clunky and a pain when you have to mass change settings. I also wish there was a way to see every file uploaded in a single place, searchable by date range.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After we began using FloQast, we no longer needed to rely on three different programs to handle the same tasks. Previously, we had to open Engagement, Document, and Project Trax separately, but now we can simply log in to FQ and manage everything in one place. It has become a one-stop shop for our needs.

I find it less intuitive than I had hoped. Navigating between sections could be more streamlined, as the current setup feels a bit cumbersome.

Great for Planning, But Slow NetSuite Integration

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it has due dates so I can manage and plan my days around what I need to accomplish and when.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that FloQast can be really slow in connecting with NetSuite and I have to spend 10+ minutes refreshing FloQast to tie out my close items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to stay organized in all my close items and ensure I have correct numbers in my close items.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to see my checklist of items to complete for the Month End Close process
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it signs you out after a bit. I wish it would keep you logged in all day. The Refresh sometimes takes a bit longer than it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Close schedule and tracking. It helps see where the department is in our Month End Close process

Streamlined Task Management, But Reconciliation Matching Needs Improvement

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it gives transparency of what are the tasks of each team. The FloRequest and adding dependency on a Reconciliation or checklist helps me streamlined the process of my task during close. The Reconciliation in FloQast helps me on saving time reconciling and preparing my JE.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, the main issue I have encountered with the Reconciliation feature is that it matches transactions based on the exact amount, rather than always matching by check numbers. Sometimes, it automatically matches transactions by amount instead of the check number, which is not what I expect. In these cases, I have to go back and double-check the matches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency on the task and streamlined the process of close and resolving issues.
