Helps you to make your close complete and more efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to list all taks that need to completed for the close.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the email notifications could be improved. They don't seem to be consistent.

Making sure that our close is complete.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly on-time closure of month-end activities and GL recon. and saves our time & labour
FloQast's close software does everything you need at a sensible price.
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is very good at engaging with its customers to find out what improvements the customers would make, what new functionality they'd like to see, and introducing new features. When using FloQast, you can sign off on items that are complete, but also leave review comments that are assigned to preparers or reviewers of anything you had to change for the tasks, allowing for coaching within the tool that helps improve efficiency over time. FloQast makes a remote close go very smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few things I don't like about FloQast. It can take time for changes to the GL to update in the reconciliation system, though that usually resolves in a day, and the OneDrive folders can take time to update too. The dashboard does very well at showing your outstanding checklist items and reconciliations, but I'd also like to see my outstanding flux items on the dashboard as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a company that does a mostly remote close, FloQast is essential. It helps the finance team stay more connected on critical tasks that need to be completed, and ensures that no tasks are being missed for a more accurate close. If ever a quarter comes around that we realize that we haven't put a task in FloQast, then it is super easy to add to the tool for that period and going forward, so it doesn't just help with close specific items, it also helps with any tasks that may be less frequent than monthly.
FQ helps organize your Month-End Close
What do you like best about the product?
Flux Analysis page and being able to track when schedules are completed .
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having a button where you can roll forward ALL the folders at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing the month-end close. Quicker close time
positive but lacks some features of other products but competes well on price for small companies
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to track close progress through check lists, accuracy through automatically checking reconciliation balances, as well as checking sign-offs on reconciliations is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to prepare flux analysis on all dimensions available in netsuite, missing some features other products have such as journal entry posting/controls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking close progress, accuracy and timeliness, standardizing the close process across subsidiaries, aligning acquired subsidiaries, tracking foreign subsidiaries.
Simple and easy tool to use to speed up and align on close activities.
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast makes it very easy to see what is on your plate for each month end close and helps you prioritize the most important tasks on your plate. Additionally insight into other team members progress is valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to say here as the tool is pretty perfect. Maybe a bit overpriced in my mind, and a bit difficult to configure notification settings- I end up getting a lot of emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast gives insight into our close process and where the rest of the team is at, as well as helping us make sure all reconcilliations are up to date. The integration between NS and FloQast is great.
FloQast Success
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast allowed our team, in relatively short order, to transition our manual checklist into an automated checklist with benefits. Our quarter close is smoother, more efficient and accurate with automatic feeds flowing from Yardi into FloQast verifying our underlying schedules and ensuring that no changes have been made to our GL as we work through the quarterly close and financial statement process. Since we implemented FQ one year ago we continue to find ways FloQast can be useful for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
First, I'd like to say that any issues we have brought to the FQ customer support team have been taken seriously and they have attempted to find solutions for us. In most cases, they have! There are a couple of things that we have brought to the team's attention that, while not available yet, are in the process of being improved and solved. One issue involves our quarterly close, folders become available for the quarter in that final month of the quarter (i.e. the Q3 close folder would become available as of 9/1) however we have some deliverables for the quarter close that are due prior to 9/1. This results in us saving that information in another folder and moving it. We have made the FQ team aware of this problem and they are actively working on solving it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I noted above, the FQ team is great at not only hearing the issues you are having but also solving those issues as well. We are happy with the support we have received and appreciate being kept up to date as new features are added that solve some of our pain points.

What do you like best about the product?
It's organized, I like the layout of the website.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the color of the website could be different.

Completing and checking the checklist on time
FloQast has enabled us to achieve a more efficient close.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to monitor the close process in real time, being able to make changes easily when needed. FloQast continually self-improves, so the product just keeps getting better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the filtering is tough becuase of some of the choices we made for set-up. Would like to be able to filter Notes by users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now track our close process for all of our sub-teams in Finance & Accounting. We have been able to identify bottlenecks and address them, which resulted in reducing days to close.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
As a new user to FloQast, I like how easy it is to navigate with the drop down boxes, filters, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The manual uploads of the trial balance from our system into FloQast daily (or twice daily) to update FloQast ending balances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great tool for being able to see at a glance how the organization is doing and then being able to drill into areas where we can work on bottlenecks.
