What do you like best about the product?
Floqast allows insight into the close. It can provide status checks throughout the month on where different team members are, which has been very helpful for our remote team distributed across different time zones.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I really like the product, I do feel there is a learning curve. This is not a negative, but just highlighting that you need to invest some time into navigating the product and understanding the information flow to get the most out of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast is providing insight into the close, which can help optimize time to close, or identify bottlenecks in the process. The tool also offers flux analysis which allows you to document month over month changes, in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is the best tool we have used to improve efficiency as the closes date approaches. It is very simple, but it does its job perfectly.
I like that all the tools are used to perform financial closes and similar tasks only because it doesn't distract the department's attention from other tasks.
Also, the dashboard with notifications is nice for tracking and real-time updates.

What do you dislike about the product?
The program has no design issues, but from time to time, it is somewhat slow to update. I feel this can be easily resolved because it doesn't always happen. This would make the work even faster, though it's still not a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a workgroup manager, I have to help from time to time at closing time by providing detailed information. I do it via the platform because it is much easier.
However, the most common use I make of it is to monitor month-end close profess, as notifications are often insufficient for staff to start tasks on time. As a result, the process is smooth and beautiful. In addition, errors are minimal, so the close almost every time is completed smoothly.

The ultimate simplifiction of closing processes
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about FloQast is its ability to track activities related to month-end closings and year-end closings. It's not my primary function, but knowing the details helps me catch any irregularities early. On the other hand, the reminders are perfect, so I don't have to make individual wake-up calls to keep everyone on top of the to-do list.

What do you dislike about the product?
The program is a bit slow to update, but we've never had any real sync issues. It is just a little inconvenience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Month-end closings were a problem because we have clients whose projects require the intervention of several departments. Each month, it was difficult to collect all the data and manually do the summations and check for errors until the accounts match.
FloQast now performs most of these processes automatically, allowing department heads and area employees to see the progress of the closing processes.
The time spent on this task has been greatly reduced, and my staff is much less stressed from having to do very little accounting-related work.

Excellent software to manage B/S recons and M/E close
What do you like best about the product?
* We had Floqast add the "Reconciling Items" field to the B/S Recon screen to see at a glance what issues are open in the Balance Sheet.
* Quick Filters in the B/S Recon screen make it easy to move between views
* Internal auditors can depend on the Checklist and B/S Reconciliations for SOX

Floqast has a great opportunity to train or reinforce with their new (and existing) users what a B/S recon is.

Floqast helps with SOX, month-end organization, and reduces the impact of employee turnover.

Floqast has Drastically Improved our Close Process
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast has drastically improved the visibility of the close process for our 14-person accounting team. We love being able to see our close progress in real-time using the analytics feature in Floqast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, not much, it has been an improvement to our process! Sometimes the documents on the cloud can be a little finicky, in that the updates made when opened to desktop might not flow through to the browser version right away. This has not been a frequent issue and the updates eventually make their way through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, it is improving the visibility of the close across team members, and also automating many close features. Reviewers can automatically see when a preparer has signed off on a JE or reconciliation document, which is very helpful. The team is also using the variance analysis feature to complete monthly budget to actual variance analysis, which has been an upgrade to doing it in Excel.

The feature I enjoy most about FloQast is that it provides a central location for monitoring the month-end closing process. Checking the progress of my and my team members' projects provides me with timely, relevant, and valuable information!

After the backups are uploaded, it takes time to update the subsidiaries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are making sure that the balances in our reconciliation accounts are correct, and let us know when an invoice has changed during the finale. This software tool is easy to use and very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has recently introduced auditable AI Agents. These AI-driven tools allow me to automate complex, recurring workflows across close management, compliance, and reporting without writing any code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Incorporating more sophisticated data analytics and real-time reporting dashboards would give accounting teams and management greater visibility into close progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast helps solve most of the Sox compliance requirements. It is also very helpful in tracking our day-to-day activities. The Auto rec function is superb where we can reconcile our Bank Accounts with the help of FloQast.
The best Workflow software i have ever seen
What do you like best about the product?
It provides me with constant Reminders about pending tasks and my out-of-balance reconciliations, which makes my work much easier to organize.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing major issues with the FloQast so far. However, the time takes to refresh and show the updated figures could be faster.

It helps massively with organizing tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast helps our accounting and finance team stay organized during the month-end and quarter-end close processes. Not only do we use FloQast for the actual close process, but we also use the checklist function for SOX compliance and SEC reporting timeline tracking. The tool is user friendly and helps our team to stay on track and monitor upcoming tasks and due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
FloQast doesn't formally lock a reconciliation or checklist task until the folder is locked for the period. As such, a preparer or reviewer can make a non-financial edit to a reconciliation or task after it has already been signed off for the period, if the folder is not locked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is allowing for better organization, transparency and analytics to monitor our monthly and quarterly close processes. It also serves as an FTP site to hold all of our final schedules, reconciliations and reporting requirements.

Visibility into where we are at with each monthly close.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate that I now have to hit load more, instead of just continuing to scroll down in the checklist. Would love to see an actual calendar, that I could export.

Accountability and visibility. I know where we stand and who is behind and what needs to be taken care of.
