A game changer
What do you like best about the product?
FQ has enahabced the visibilty and the workflow of my team
What do you dislike about the product?
The only think I dont like about FQ is the way the equity account is handled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to meet our 5 business days close through assigining tasks to my team and have comlete visibility on what's left to be completed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Floqast is a very worthy reconciliation tool. Numbers appearing in the books are automatically updated on real time basis as a result chances of errors are very less. With floqast dependency on others get reduced as all reconciliation are at one place in the floqast tool. In fact we can set up a deadline for the reconciliation to be updated on floqast and pop-ups are received accordingly in the email so that timeline is never missed. Snapshot of completeness is also available for ease of checking.
We have been working with #FloQast for about 6 months now and this is one of the best investments we have made. The Implementation process was so quick and easy. You can get it up and running with the basics and then begin filling out all the fine details of the close process. We were in a difficult process of implementing a new accounting software system in our organization when we became aware of #FloQast. I don't think we would been able to catch up and get back on track with our monthly close process so quickly without #FloQast. It created a great structure for making sure everything was done and out staff love the satisfaction of checking off their tasks.

Simplifying and Automating the close process
What do you like best about the product?
I am new to the accounting profession and am still learning.
FQ makes it easy for everyone on our team to set deadlines and meet them without constant monitoring.
I also like FQ consistently distributes news and tutorial to users to help them to stay on top of changes, both in the field and out.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything to dislike at this moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are maintaining books for different entities/subsidiaries, and before FQ, I've heard my team had a few hiccups.
After we adapted FQ, we have not run into issues keeping track of closing the books across our different entities.
Working from home was not an issue due to FQ, we were able to communicate effectively and clearly.

awesome closing tool
What do you like best about the product?
Flowqast gives me a very clear view of where we are during the closing, from both reviewer and preparer's perspective. It is super easy to track the progress of each account category and communicate to preparers when item is past due. Not to mention the integration with Slack is also a plus for easy communication and reminders. Floqast has helped us tremendously to shorten the closing period.

I literally don't have anything that I dislike.

The interface - it is very easy to use and makes audit work so much easier.

The flux analysis has yet to prove more useful than what we have been using in the past.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of the program. Easily assign tasks and reviewers to each item as needed. FloQast is a great way to document journal entry numbers from Netsuite, provide links, and backup as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I don't like about the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our accounting close process is much more organized and centralized for the entire Finance department. Documentation, links, backup, and close dates are much more accessiable than when we used Google sheets. We have the entire close history at our fingertips which has allieviated the extra work and time looking for past information. Benefits include: better organization, documenatation, clearly define entries and reviewers.

1. FloQast's ability to accommodate several entities
2. Flux analysis which pulls in balances from our accounting software to perform variance analysis. All balances are updated in real-time should the balance change.
3. An organized checklist of month-end tasks that can be customized in the following ways: deadlines, preparer, and reviewer.

1. The inability to see reconciling items in FQ when reviewing reconciliations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we use FQ to solve is an organized way to divide and conquer tasks that go into closing out books.
The number one benefit of using FQ is transparency around what tasks have been completed by the team (especially useful if your task relies on someone elses).

Great visibility and close management
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast allows us to manage the close and provide visibility to everyone on the team about what items are finished and what still needs attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are hopeful that FloQast will add a few additional features in the future, including greater visibility into reconciling items and ranked reviewer workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A once entirely manual process with no visibility is now automated and provides visibility to everyone on the team. We no longer have to worry about figuring out where the close stands or what might be outstanding. This resource allows our team to work and communicate smarter.

Best Recon Tool Ever
What do you like best about the product?
Preparing recons in FQ is the easiest way, because we can prepare the recon and support on Excel and them upload and refresh the information on FQ.
And Also, I have worked with other tools in the past (Blackline) and it had not the possibility of working on Excel to prepare the reconciliations it is the differential we have in FQ comparing to other applications

I have no big complains about the tool, it has been helpful in my daily routine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Besides being a user friendly tool to work with reconciliations, the checklist on FQ helps me to not forgot any task in a monthly and quarterly basis.
