One-stop shop for financial close
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast takes all our key financial close processes and puts them all in one spot - close checklist, balance sheet reconciliations, flux analytics, etc. Not only that, but it tracks and timestamps signoffs, allows for review comments on individual items, and provides close insights based on our performance each period end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor nitpick - once review comments on an item are resolved and closed, I think it would be cleaner for the comment icon to disappear. To me, the icon suggests that there are still open comments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has helped standardize our close process by compiling all documentation and support in one place. Not only that, but the final product is clean and immediately ready for our auditors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend this product. I have had the opportunity to work at both Fortune 50 and startup companies and this application is top tier.

that it doesn't default to my tasks only

not so much as problem-solving for my tasks, but it does help me keep on point with my due dates of multiple tasks

The checklist and analytics features create a quick view that I can instantly hone in on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a calendar view of items that are due on specific days of the month. I would like to expand that to account for monthly cadence hits during the month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have the ability to quickly assign work to the entire team and pivot items to individuals with bandwidth to continue to work on.
A helpful Tool to Increase Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can select checklists/Reconciliations and all of my required tasks pop up. I can see the dates assigned and decide what needs to be tackled first. I feel the organization of tasks is much better than when using Monday.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the transformation from excel to google sheets. Some data is lost and does not present correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is allowing multiple users to gather and maintain information in a timely manner. We are starting to get reconciliations done sooner, which may enable us o move up our close time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
FloQast can be a tool used to incentivize production. By following the assigned completion dates and making sure all due dates are met users can be tracked to see who is staying on task, who is in front of the tasks, and who might be falling behind.

Very good, helps with month end and keeping track of your tasks and identifying errors

I like having the tasks tracked so I can see what I have and haven't completed as part of month end.

The only downside is when the accounts reval then the balances change so you have to redo the reconciliation

Completing month end tasks on a timely basis and making sure nothing is missed. Being able to reconcile means identifying errors before close completes and being able to correct
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to keep track of month end tasks and reconcile balances, this is the product for you. Has a lot of potential for however you need to use it and works well with other apps.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that floqast helps me to streamline my close tasks as well as communicate delays with my team. The remind feature has been very useful in obtaining necessary documents.
My FAVORITE part about being a Floqast user is that Floqast is much more than a software. There are so many unique little things that Floqast does to bring joy into closing; mental health awareness articles, an accounting coloring book, they even have their own mini series!

There really isn't anything I don't like about Floqast! I would like a feature to mark a task in progress.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, and the prebuilt controls to ensure a complete and accurate financial close.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some elements of clunkiness within the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Truncating the financial close cycle. Benefits are that this tool has an itemized list of all the elements that go into the financial close so that a Controller can readily identify late submissions
Great Month End Close Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can organize your tasks by entities or groups which makes identifying tasks convenient. I also enjoy that you can filter down those tasks using various filters.
What do you dislike about the product?
In regards to comments, it would be great to have an email sent out alerting users that the comments are left open and whether or not are they good to be closed. This alert can be sent out maybe after XX amount of days the comment has been made.
