The Cadillac of Close to Reporting management tool
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast allows our company to store all of our account reconciliations and supporting documentation while capturing our review notes and sign-offs. In addition, we're able to use their Flux Analytics and capture our signoff as well. The team over at FloQast is another reason we have chosen to use them, and they are always responsive and open to questions and suggestions; it's a product built by accountants for accountants.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of currently at this moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed us to document our signoff and flux analytics properly. In addition, it enables us to see where we're at in the close process and where other team members might be falling behind and could use some additional support.
Implementation and working review of FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a systematic tool for compiling all month end related activities in a form of Checklists, Uploading Reconciliations, checking auhtority and repsonsibility of work assigned
What do you dislike about the product?
Its been 2 months that we have implemented FloQast, we only faced some technical issues like file uploaded converted in Google sheet and when we open that google sheet through hyperlink, it doesnt open properly for pivots

If you are looking for a month end tool or a repository for all reconciliations or as an evidence of better internal controls for audits - we recommend FloQast
Floqast has made the month end close process efficient, and easy.
What do you like best about the product?
The accountability - Everything is visible to the team. I like being able to get notifications when a sign off is completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes I am unable to properly link Gsheets to the FQ folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of having an unorganized month-end close process. Because of FQ, we are able to close the month with ease.
FloQast is very useful to ensure deadlines are met and easily helps track progress towards tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that FloQast emails me deadlines that are upcoming or late, it is just an extra reminder and an easy way to make sure all my tasks are completed in a timely matter.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to FloQast is the amount of time it takes to refresh all of the entities within my role, but I wouldn't say that I dislike anything about FloQast. All systems take time to refresh especially when the capacity of the refresh is large.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that FloQast allows me to reference prior periods so easily so that if I am stuck on the current month's task and need a refresher I can easily access/reference prior periods.
Useful close management tool that continues to enhance their solutions
What do you like best about the product?
seamless integration with Netsuite dataset
What do you dislike about the product?
Inabililty to setup notification with Google chat. Inability to setup email notifications listing specific tasks due that day (or past due) within the body of the email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing close (and non-close) tasks effectively. Streamlining reconciliations for quick status review and access to supporting documents
Excellent tool for reconciliations reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Help keep track of the month-end close list. Make sure the reports are completed before the due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The consistent logging in and out of the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New ways in importing and exporting documents into FloQast.
Impressive tool and team
What do you like best about the product?
The team was very helpful in training as well as helping us get started. The tool will be extremely useful as we will need to become SOX compliant after going public.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did wish there was a way in Floqast to have a "or" scenario for review. Sometimes two managers are assigned to one task but it's really whoever gets to it first so not necessary for both to sign off but one or the other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved our process for Balance Sheet recs, which using Floqast is much more efficient than the alternative solution. Also the we're excited to use the new "Flux Analysis" tool within Floqast.
Invaluable to our close process and other workflows
What do you like best about the product?
I like that FloQast is a workflow management platform made by accountants, for accountants. Seamless synching, loads of visibility, and customization where it is needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I did not have this tool at my previous company. Honestly, there are a few quirks that I have found that are not ideal, but FloQast has worked with us to resolve most of those and and constantly looking for ways to improve the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved close communication flows. I can see everything going on through my dashboard.
We have created new workflows to keep non-close items out of close and in their own workflows (compliance, payroll, etc).
We have solved the shared Flux workbook problem. FloQast enables our flux analyses and save hours of time each month with that alone.

the most helpful-> if someone posts JE in the account after reconciliation, you receive an alert for the change- very important control!

Completeness Report check->as of now, this is done manually-> I believe it will be helpful if FQ can synchronize and send an alert for accounts which not appear on the re conciliations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As of now, the main benefit I gain is by simplifying the closing process and alerting if someone posts JE after you prepare the supporting WP. by doing that, the closing performance increased.

I appreciate the flux analysis part of floqast that will update when an changes are made to an account
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be better if we could auto-reconcile contra accounts like accumulated depreciation in floqast
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i'm not really having any problems. Some benefits include getting notifications when a rec or account has changed after being signed off on, and getting notifications when something in a flux analysis changed after a comment was submitted.
