The best close software!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast offers countless features to help organize and improve efficiencies for companies during the close process. It's heaven for accountants who geek out about project management tools. Various ways to customize and build out features that your team (no matter what size) needs most. They offer frequent trainings and are easy to get ahold of if you have questions or want to know more about certain capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't run into anything I don't like besides the fact that I'm reminded when I don't get something done on time (ha).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and streamlining tasks during close. Everyone on the team has a clear and concise list of what they are responsible for and when tasks need to be completed.

Great interface especially for accounting where timeliness/segregation of duty is integral
What do you like best about the product?
Greatly helps with time management & tracking of responsibilities. Additionally, the preparer/reviewer function is a very useful tool to keep track of compliance with SOX and financial reporting guidelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system can sometimes lag and pick up items from the wrong interface such as financial statement line items but these glitches are fixed in a timely manner by the FQ customer support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Segregation of duty and tracking tasks that require a reviewer/periodic preparation are easy with FQ
Great month end recon and task management system!
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast helps our team prioritize task to ensure that we close on a timely manner! The checklist and recon tabs are the most useful feature that gives a breakdown of when task are due and what we should prioritize. Another useful feature is it gives alerts of when previously reconciled balances are updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The TB balance is updated every hour. It would be nice if the balance can be updated when an amount changes, but that may be asking for too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Close has definitely been more organized after implementing Floqast.

What do you like best about the product?
I had used the following function within floqast monthly checklist, reconciliation, close the book, and review notes. I like the divided sections that floqast provides to help me record and track my financial reporting activities. The filter/search function is excellent as well as the notes assignment and due date assignment function. With my 2 years with floqast I had no experiences with system shutdown or bugs.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspects about Floqast are the month-end close support through checklist trackers and the reconciliation module. The checklist tracker offers a preparer/reviewer sign-off for recurring items that need to be done each month, this is hugely helpful to ensure everyone finishes their assigned tasks and nothing slips through the cracks. The reconciliation tracker has also transformed our Reconciliation process as it ties into our TB and allows us to easily track all the recs to ensure they are all completed accurately. Additionally the Floqast team is constantly adding updates and working on new modules to add, and is always in touch with our team to help tune the application to our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently there are no major functions I dislike. Everything seems to work great and they are constantly adding new modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the ability to have a module seamlessly integrate with our TB to track all of our reconciliations and facilitate review through a preparer/reviewer sign-off system. Additionally it has increased our work through the review note module, which allows us to easily track review notes and ensure all our working papers are accurate and complete.
Accounting made fun!
What do you like best about the product?
Having a central checklist online assists with accounting department efficient and makes the close process less dependent on manual list, memory and even excel. Now, they added the reconciliations and this is a great feature for additional centralization.
What do you dislike about the product?
FloQast emails the individual when they are late. I feel that receiving the email for late items a few minutes might be more helpful than just once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on track with the close process is a great benefit. Checking off items as they are completed ensures that nothing is overlooked during close.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you wanted a user friendly system that delivers efficiencies to your accounting department FloQast is the system for you. They intergrade with various accounting systems to help streamline your close process. Floqast thrives on user feedback, you'll never feel like you are just another customer; they encourage feedback from users and use that feedback to improve the software.

deadline dates to keep me on track along with the ability to look at previous months uploads; various filters are nice as well

What I like most about FloQast is the ability to see tasks & assignments in one place. Also, the ability to see the status of those tasks & assignments.

I wish you could sort by clicking on the column headers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is a great tool for managing the account reconciliations process. It provides a convenient repository and evidences workflow and review for audits.
Streamlines Month End Closure
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easy to use. It also sends you notifications if you are past due on assigned items and if any reconciled balances change after completion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently it takes quite a few clicks to upload support. A drag and drop option would make it even more efficient.
