Fantastic experience for both partners and customers
What do you like best about the product?
Highly accurate matching of identity against a wide range of documents, with in depth info on why customers may have been flagged, giving a full picture of why the customer may have been flagged. A very seamless and straightforward integration that reduces the technical overhead required to integrate such a robust system.
What do you dislike about the product?
No issues found on either the technical side or consumer side, having ran with the IDVerse integration for over a year. The only "negative" point we've recieved from a customer is the liveness capture being able to accurately detect too quickly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We found through other providers that identity verification can be clunky and awkward at best for customers with darker skin tones or in low light conditions. With IDVerse we found no such problems with has resulted in a lower technical overhead, along with a reduced workload for confirmation of customers who would have traditionally been flagged as false positives. Any queries are answered promptly through IDVerse's 24/7 support, reducing the feedback loop for flagged customers.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to automate a significant part of our customer journey with confidence that we are still mitigating risk. The support team are responsive, engaged and collaborative. As an early partner, IDVerse acknowledged that there was room for collaboration and welcomed feedback. We continue to work closely with the team to integrate further and better realise the benefit of automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes appear that dev resource is stretched and maybe hasn’t scaled up enough yet. When reviewing issues, IDVerse are engaged, but things can sit ‘with dev’ for a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving us the ability to automate key parts of the customer journey whilst still mitigating risk. Inital signs look very positive with regards to performance with a trend of reduced 3PF - we are excited to continue exporing how to utilise the product even more.

We need to be sure that the people accessing chests are who they say they are.

The technology is light years ahead of competitors with regards to getting clients identified. Literally the easiest process ever.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all lenders are accepting biometric identification, so caution must be used when submitting applications to those lenders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The technology makes it VERY quick and easy to ID clients. Just enter their name and number and wait for the verified ID to come back. This saves our team a significant amount of time.

The platform is easily configurable to suit specific business requirements. Biometric facial recognition is best practice in market, reducing fraud risk.

Some bespoke configurations can create logic code disruption and downstream impacts to ID outcomes - additional testing to compensate has been key to resolving

We have been working closely with OCR to develop improved MIS and reporting to provide greater insight into key themes and take up % across key business locations and offices
Great results using the OCR Labs product
What do you like best about the product?
TPG Telecom has been using the OCR Labs solution since 2019. Since deployment we have noted a significant reduction in loss from Fraud, particularly in our digital and telesales channels. OCR Labs have provided a high level of support, delivering a suite of product enhancements to improve customer experience and performance. We continue to work closely with the technical resources at OCR labs who have become a highly valued business partner to TPG Telecom.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the early stages of deployment, the pace of growth of OCR labs limited their ability to support some enhancements. Since that time OCR Labs have invested heavily in their technical resource and any early gaps have been closed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OCR Labs provide a highly configurable biometric solution that provides TPG Telecom with an effective method of linking an applicant to an identity. The solution has been heavily deployed in our remote sales channels including online store and telesales. A significant reduction in fraud and Never pay writeoff has been observed as we seek to protect our customers from identity theft.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how fast OCR labs can move. They seem to run very Agile and are able to push things/fixes into delivery very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something very minor, but sometimes we would have meeting issues where they couldn't join our Teams meetings (tech issue) and we couldn't join their Google meetings (domain restricting).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They're solving the issue of identity theft. Where fraudsters use stolen identities to apply for a credit card or bank account under the victims name. It benefits us to use OCR Labs as we can ensure we are lending/banking with genuine invidiuals.
